Living with the Dark Winters in Sweden | Midnight sun & Polar night
Dark winters with no sunlight for many weeks, and bright summers with sunlight 24 hours/day. How is it to live with the extreme light conditions that countries in the Northern hemisphere have?
In this video I want to share my own personal experience and perspective of living with the seasons in the North of Sweden, and take you on a journey to the darkest and brightest times of the year, and share the beauty and the challenges that comes with them.
I hope you will enjoy it! Thank you so much for watching! ♥

Love to go there.
What a masterpiece. You perfectly pointed out what life in Sweden means. The moment when you first experienced the northern lights, swedish culture, the bond to nature, the easy life back to the roots... This is what matters in life, what I miss in my life in Germany. I often thought about to move there, maybe I'll do it soon.
Let s go there
Man , I wish I lived in Germany 😅 tired of Ukraine
My heart sends hugs to yours. My maine coon cat who was born into my hands, lived 26 years, and passed away in my arms. I called him mu soulmate with fur. The bond I have with animals is very deep. He would go wherever I would go, of his own volition. Now, I remember him with so much joy, and thankfulness for all the years we had together. Love never dies.
This is what i call life - peaceful life - away from city chaos
Move then
Yes peaceful but empty, sorry to say that .
But lonely peoples wants city and crowd.
Here in the country we're not lonely. Community is very strong. That's the paradox. City life lonely. Country life is not...our here we need each other.
As somebody who grew up as an only child in the middle of the countryside - far from other houses and people - it's incredibly lonely. Isolation can drive anybody crazy given enough time.
Northern Sweden seems like an introverts dream to live.
Makes me want to drop everything where i am living right now, and start all over! 🙉
It is soon beautiful
Take me in please! 😍
Take me there
Take me there
Even in the darkness we still get light. From 1000s of suns far away. That is just amazing

Tack❣️

It's very sweet how beautiful the sunlight gently touches Sweden in the north. Sometimes, I envy how the sun can shine softly due to your position far in the north, making the golden hour light feel like it lasts 24 hours there. I, living near the equator, experience the full power of the sun, a sun that can scorch anything, and its light can sometimes be too intense. However, the sun never rises for more than 12 hours throughout the year and never changes between the lengths of day and night. That's how nature grants us fairness.
Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world 💕.

*_"A flower would never force itself to bloom in the cold winter."_* *_"So why would we?"_*
Right But Could WE change if the condition of living is not suitable? Why suffered?
That is a beautiful quote and I think I understand the meaning behind it - NOT to try and do something that you are clearly unable to do when it's not "the season" in your life too do something that is simply to difficult it not "the season" in your life to "do it in - as it will only bring you unnecessary failure or suffering". That is what I got from it at least. Even God knew when to take a breather when he saw the need to. And what an AMAZING Earth he corrated!
Yes that's the line I took screenshot of. Truly inspiring 🙏
Beautiful video, thank you. I live in the North of England and though we very rarely get the cold and snow because of the gulf stream keeping us warmer and wetter than a lot of Northern Europe, we do get the contrast between the light and length of the days throughout the year. I feel lucky and blessed to live somewhere that has such opposite seasons. My brithday is a couple of days before mid summers day and I love that I can be outside enjoying the sunlight until almost midnight and then it doesn't seem to get fully dark and is almost daylight again by 3am but I also love midwinter when we only have daylight between 10 and 3pm. And of course I love all the seasons as they are so diferent here.

amazing footage! I live in switzerland, which is often confused with Sweden. We also have wonderful nature with varied landscapes, but I've never seen anything like this video. You've made me want to put Sweden on my travel bucket list. Wonderful work, good luck for the future and best regards
