  • As a Geometry Dash player, I got the Basilisk Ultimate mouse, switching from the G502, and I had no regret buying it. The clicks are light asf and there is no delay. I usually slam my mouse switch when I play with it and it hasn’t broken once since I bought it in august 2021! This is a great mouse and I recommend it to anyone who plays input heavy games :).

  • I have the wired V2, great mouse but I think I would personally prefer the Viper Ultimate for FPS games only. If you play different genres of games, this mouse is super versatile and looks + feels great.

  • I am using the Basilisk V2 rn, and here's my opinion, Its super good, reliable, fast, and accurate. I've been using it for quite a while and there aren't any major problems. However, the rubber layer meant for the thumb to rest on has started to tear apart. Leaving a giant hole for my thumb. I guess the sweat and rubbing made the cushioning part wear off. Other than that, its a good mouse. Would def recommend.

  • I like razer, but this is pretty much a g402/g502, I would buy the basilisk if it had a finger rest on the right side, which would set it apart to its closest competitors and also double as a meaningful advantage

  • I got the razer death adder recently about 5 mo back and scroll wheel isnt working properly its just works fine when its wants to auto scrolls when it wants to. I live in india somebody help me to claim warranty

    • It is a great mouse, I used it for a long time. However, I recommend getting the hyperspeed because it’s even better and its also usually cheaper if you get it on Amazon.

  • If only you would get rid of the grip tapes on the sides on your mice and not make my switches die on the hyperspeed basilisk within 3 months, changed 4 of them in one year because of that.

  • I am using the basilisk as we speak, and, take my word on this. The scroll wheel on this thing, breaks in the first week... As in, it repeatedly recieves opposite signals, it will scroll upwards, for every time it scrolls downwards, and vice versa, meaning the scroll wheel is defective, by design, not production. Luckily it also has alternate scroll functions, by pushing the wheel on the side, left or right, you can scroll reliably, however, you scroll at a fixed tempo, which is annoying when you want to scroll past long pages. do not buy these. Razer mice have gone downhill. Only razer products worth buying atm are keyboards, and even then, you might wanna look elsewhere because razer synapse doesn't work properly, and slowly corrupts your computer, eventually causing you to have to reformat it... meaning all the features that razer products give, are effectively, unavailable. : /

    • Yeah the scroll wheel issue is real. It seems that it's due to the design choice, it is extremely sensitive to dust or any sort of dirt. I'm especially careful with my peripherals and I still had take apart my Mamba Elite to brush the inside of the scroll wheel to make it work properly 95% of the time. It's sad because Razer products are amazing overall, but they all seem to have issues with ingress protection.

    • My Razer Basilisk Ultimate has been good for 2 and a half years now, no issues. I'd recommend checking the "change how far you scroll" setting in windows. I keep mine at 2 or 3 lines. Then, see if you have a scroll wheel resistance +- on the bottom of the mouse, consider adjusting it. I remember having some issues if I kept the wheel resistance extremely loose you could get it to act like you are saying. After adjustment of the resistance, no issues since.

    • Which basilisk? I completely agree with you if it's the Ultimate - and I believe the v2 also had these glaring issues. Super awful scroll wheel notches, razer should just retcon the Ultimate. I think the scroll wheel resistance dial made it challenging and design went wrong on it. The X Hyperspeed doesn't have those issues at all and serves as a decent wireless mouse - but then the v3 released. I have had the Basilisk V3 for over 6 months with no issues at all - virtually zero-issue mouse. They fixed the scroll wheel and everything about it. It's the best mouse for me imo worth dumping the wireless. Firefly v2 mousepad works as a great bungee to boot for me.

  • Got a Basilisk Ultimate as a replacement for my Mamba Hyperflux that broke. 0/10 would not recommend, scroll wheel is drifting SUPER bad and it fails to connect to the hub fairly often. Too bad there are literally 0 good looking mice on the market aside from Razer. The Hyperflux was the best thing that ever happened to me but now they don't exist anymore, big sadge
