    • Most unbias and true comment. All the trucks are similar in their capabilities and honestly you can't go wrong with really any of them. It boils down to preference like engine output to fuel eco ratio and what you get with the truck for the price. It's really all personal preference/creature comfort related at this point. Ford, Toyota, Chevy or dodge, they're all probably going to do what you need it to do.

  • Both absolutely great vehicles. They’ve both had their dark years, and made mistakes but generally awesome trucks. I currently own an 05’ Ford f150 with 200k+ miles for the last 10 years, that’s getting a little old and finally needing a few old parts replaced but still going strong. I just bought a 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma that is freaking unparalleled on the trail for a truck. I feel a Tacoma with the right lift, bumper for approach angle, and the right tires can be practically unstoppable on the trail. I love old trucks too. I’m currently restoring a 1969 Dodge w200 4x4 truck that is pretty awesome on the mountain as well !Anyway a fun video on 2 of the greatest trucks ever made . Thanks 👍

  • I owned a few Ford F150's and they are trash. The vacuum lines would engage and disengage of the four wheel drive system. the brake calipers would constantly lock up and the power steering would leak on the exhaust system. PLUS the frames are prone to bad rusting. My friend just sold a 2012 Ford F150 for a lot of money. outside looked sweet. and the father came and looked at this truck and loved everything about the truck. It even had fat ass off-road tires. OHHHH...wait...the frame was completely rusted out and soon would fall apart. I own a Toyota and it is the best vehicles to buy (including a few Lexus's).
