Marilyn is sent home from college because of her tuition fees no being paid. Herman goes down to the school to straighten things out
A family of friendly monsters having misadventures and never quite understanding why people react to them so strangely.

Now I’m young, I’m just a teenager, but I remember when I was younger and my grandfather showed me the munsters and I thought it was great! I stayed up late watching it and I thought every second of it was hilarious! I just thought about it earlier today and I’m 100% binging this KZhead channel. I miss my grandfather a lot and this brings back really great memories, thank you!!!!
Your GRANDFATHER showed you the Munsters and you're a teenager. Okay, now I officially feel old!
I realize I'm kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online?
I never met a grandpa or a grandma. I'm sorry you lost your grandfather.
Same boat except I’m 27 now. My grandpa showed me the Munsters when I was just a kid and I’ve loved it ever since. I miss him a lot and watching this show reminds me of good times. Not to mention that it holds up and I find it even funnier as an adult.
I remember staying up at like 2am when I was 7 watching this and I'm only 17 time Flys
I was born in 97 and the Munsters and Gilligan's Island were my favorite shows to stay up and watch as a kid 💖 so comforting to rewatch
I was born in 71 and love the same shows!
Grandpa: I only flew in to get out of the Rain. Herman: FOR TWO WEEKS?
Hanging from the rafters at Vassar! LOL! Imagine writing a joke like that TODAY into a TV series!
When you've not watched The Munsters since the late 80s/early 90s, you get blown away with memories of how good they all were in this. Herman and Grandpa especially.
The shows where the two of them go wildly astray are so hilarious they'll take your breath away, and that doesn't happen that easily for me, especially for a sitcom. Great comedy team. Eddie is the child on paper, but Herman and Grandpa are really the children in the family.
Being a child of the 70s,this show makes me feel 5 years old again.
me too that don't write shows like this any more
I was born in 2/27/75
I was born in 62 we didn't have a TV
@@joannajamerson35 Exactly your age. Saw the Munsters on reruns in late 79 early 80.
Herman Munster is generally one of a kind Frankenstein tall man rest in peace Fred Gwynne Al Lewis and Yvonne.
My dad loved the Munsters, especially Herman Munster. When I was in college, i would always try and be back in my dorm room to watch reruns at 3pm. If you were outside around that time, you could hear other people's tvs on the same channels, so many students trying to get their "Munsters" fix for the day. That was back in the early 80s before the internet and cellphones. 😊
Moose’s fathers voice (Pat Buttram) I recognise, from So many Disney films The sherif of Nottingham in Robin Hood,The Aristocats and the Rescuers to name a few.
Also Cactus Jake from "Garfield And Friends".
Chief from the fox and the hound.
I always loved his "cracked" country accent.
They couldn't have picked a better cast. All were perfect and it was done so smoothly. Plus you saw the show not commercials.
Man you said it ! Just a perfect cast. Yvonne D was perfect chem with Fred Gwynn. And grandpa was well perfect!!
Just such talent on the production back then. From the special guest stars to the theme song. Just a special show that was on another level that has stood test of time
@@keithyj11 Grandpa and Herman had worked before on Car 54 Where Are You? They weren't partners, but worked the same shift at the same police station.
were thase shows always so short Addams family was round 22 mins long
7,
I LOVED THIS SHOW SO MUCH. IT DESERVED MORE THAN 2 SEASONS. I STILL LOVE THIS SHOW
Ofcourse, Batman was was main "POW!" To the ratings causing culprit.
Why did this show only get two seasons though they could have gotten more.
Deserves 10 seasons
Ironically Batman in color doused Our Munsters!
Absolutely love the Munsters.
When I was a kid, this show gave me a lot of laughs, and I needed some. Now I know Fred Gwynne was a comedy genius. They never should've cancelled this show. Two more seasons at least. Gwynne's reactions are a master class in comedy. I know it seems an over the top statement but this wasn't his first show anyway. He really know what he was doing. The joy this man created - what a legacy.
I loved this family
This is a classic, so funny, so witty 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I Love the opening of the second season of The Munsters 👍👍
@@michaelglass4701 The second season is the most popular, that is where Butch Patrick, plays Eddie Munster, Ivonne de Carlo replaces the star that played Herman Munster*s wife and I am not sure if Beverly Owen, enters the series as Herman*s Niece
Still love this show
"i got curb service" LOL
im 32 and the munsters aren't on tv much here in ireland but being of the spooky persuasion myself, i always knew of the series. i recently got the boxset and got to watch both series and i knew i was going to love it. the munsters spans generations without fail and is 1 of those series that will always have an audience.
I love this show, I use to watch it everyday!!!! Herman and Grandpa are hilarious!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣.... Bring it back, we need it NOW!!!!!! 🥀🥀🥀🥀..2022....
This is a beloved, classic show. Glad I watched it new. Should have been on at least 5 years. Moose guest starred on a lot of sitcoms then, including Petticoat Junction and Beverly Hillbillies. I think he was even on an episode of The Waltons. Several sitcoms through the years have had those mix-up scenarios, as this ep.
Fred was a star on CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU ? Al Lewis was in that cast as well.
U have a very sharp memory.
He was the Jude in my cousin vinny with the guy who was in the karety kid sorry for missspell
Herman: We haven't had anyone kicked out of school since Grandpa got kicked out of Vasser for hanging in the rafters. Grandpa: I was only trying to get out of the rain. Herman: For 2 weeks?!
Wow. You can repeat lines from the show. I’m impressed!!!
I miss this tv show so much.
wish they could have done couple more seasons & in color(decision made not to spend the extra $ for color)
They tried to bring it back. Different actors of course, but it didn't take.
@@donkeyslayer4661 thats because the original cast was the best
We lucked out and got the complete series. These are great TV any time day or night.
I love the Munsters way better than The Adam's Family !!
One of my my 1960's childhood favorites
@2:31 (Lily going over her checkbook) “i paid that gas bill. The telephone. Our water 💧 hardening service” ... 🙋🏻♀️ Sometimes it’s *GOOD* to be old! At least _NOW_ i get ALL the jokes! 🙆🏻♀️ HAA! 😄 “Water💦 _hardening_ service” 🤦🏻♀️ ... 🤷🏻♀️ c’monnn now, that’s FUNNY! 🤣
Water hardening service, I bet they're all washed up...
I LOVE THE MONSTERS AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO LOVED THE SHOW AS MUCH AS I DID AND DO
MY KIDS ESPECIALLY DADAS BBY (lili)LOVES THE MONSTERS … IT BRINGS SUCH JOY TO MY HEART 2 HEAR OF YOUNGER GENERATIONS GETTING 2 LOVE THE SHOW ALSO…. GREAT JOB PEOPLE PASSING ON OUR MEMORIES… WHN THING WERE SIMPLE AND NOT SO COMPLICATED
Such a great show, period.....and to see Mr. Haney in this episode is a plus! :)
Haney is why this is NOT one of my favorite episodes.
Can't wait to see what Rob Zombie does with the remake. Hope he can do it justice. There is no one like Fred Gwynne, as Herman.
Exactly! And the whole normal but still frightening to all of Mockingbird Heights must stay rewatachable.
Sorry to disappoint you but the Rob Zombie came out: it's 2022 now and the movie was not good.
Herman: I got curb service!
"you need a college Education just to figure out the signs" ain't that the truth!! 🤣
The water hardening bill. That's good stuff.
I grew up in the 1960's, watching all the half hour shows. The Munsters included. I'm a senior citizen now, & viewing The Munsters on KZhead bring me joy, laughter in a very different world in 2022. The show writers, production folks, the thespians, everyone involved with this show gave us a half hour of escape from the miseries of reality.
I'm right there with you❗️
@@dianetheisen8664 😊
biess you for uploading the Munsters, i love this show and you're never too old for these lovable ghouls
I'm 66& I remember when The Munsters were on CBS Yvonne De Carlo was beautiful as Lily, I have a beautiful model of The.Munsters Koach, and a beautiful book about the Munsters that Yvonne De Carlo and Butch Patrick did.
The second season of The Munsters has the best opening ever 👍👍
Yea did you know Rob zombie is doing a remake of the munsters not sure how good that's going to go though.
Hey, that one guy voiced the Sheriff of Nottingham!
I like how herman got curb service when they past out the brains !!!!
It took me some getting used to in seeing him in " Pet Cemetery ", but he did manage to wash off that type cast of herman , because he was a fine actor . He was able to emers himself in what ever role he chose. That's what good actors do !!!
My favorite show still.love it ..
The Munsters had some very cool actors as guests Harvey Corman, was one & few others..Bill Mummy.
Paul Lynde, too
Can you imagine the team coach would have had he been able to sign both Herman and Moose Mallory? They would win three NCAA National Championships!
Anyone notice that Herman's stunt double on the basketball floor is wearing different sho'e than Herman has on?
YES -- thank you‼️
Sure did!!!!!!
...wonder how much the stunt double got paid to "don" all that makeup and shoot hoops??....had to be a basketball player.....obviously...lol
This is the best!!!
All-Star Munster
The reason the Munsters was a much better show than the Addams family is they dealt with every day things. They just looked VERY weird. Ha. The Munsters behaved like a regular family: Herman worked a job, Eddie and Marilyn went to school, Lily was a homemaker and Grandpa was part of the extended family.
And they were not mean spirited like the Adams Family.
Janice Grimm hmm don’t remember them bein mean spirited. However, the Munsters i think were more likable than the Addams family. The Addams may have had bigger success in film adaptions etc, but the Munsters is what i always preferred. Herman and Grandpa’s antics were classics.
Everyone is welcome at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
Janice Grimm The tv series Addams Family were not mean spirited at all. Are you thinking about the movies that came out in the early 90’s?
@@taoist32 The tv show was darker humor than the Munsters. If you liked it that is ok we can agree to disagree. Yes the movies with the Adams Family were different from what I remember but I don't remember if they were mean spirited or not. Like I said we can agree to disagree. Best wishes.
Herman Munster: all-time best basketball modern Prometheus
The perfect sitcom nobody topped this. Maybe Seinfeld
Nah, not Seinfeld
I haven't seen anyone else here mention it but I really love how much they love Marilyn. Yes they mention her "deformity" sometimes but it's obvious they care a lot about her (Eddie even got a bit jealous once of how much they coddle her). They're willing to go to lengths to help her!
Great show!
I don't understand why FRED GWYNNE is in an unmarked grave. He deserves better.
Unmarked grave?!? I'd sure like to know why myself! 😠
May be he's not there.
@Hank Bridges They do? Who else?
@Hank Bridges You brought it up; I was just participating in the conversation. Giving you an opportunity to expound. No worries.
@@sewmeonekenobi639 As was he.............
2:43 one of the moments where Herman is the most kindest, humble and pure person alive I NEVER WANT A DIFFERENT CAST BRAVO
7:00 Mr. Haney!
Exactly, I was just thinking that!!! LOL
What a voice!
BETTER THAN ADDAMS FAMILY.
Still watching in, 2023!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🖤🖤🖤.......
I loved this show when I was a kid! Born in 1990 and still a classic!
Who are the 8 losers giving the Munsters a thumbs down?🤣🤣
People who don’t appreciate good TV when they see it. That’s who.
Bill Laspin the Addams family
kids clearly
LOL
yeah well you nailed it, losers and nothing more
GRANDPA: " . . . I'll turn myself into a CALIFORNIA STUDENT and upset the whole campus!!!" LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun to see Mr. Haney show up
And he's going to give up his truck for a CORNvertible!
I was age 6 at the time, but watched this show new. I still love it, the humor is timeless.
I miss this show ..
Sooooo... did Marylin's tuition get straightened out?
I want to know too lol
yes it did.
It's annoying how they only show half the episode, my local library has the whole series on DVD.
🤷🏻♀️ Dunno how many Munster episodes are posted, but each time i see there’s another one i get that kinda thrilled chill up my spine! ⚡️ Gonna enjoy while it lasts! 🙆🏻♀️ TYTYTY FOR POSTING!! 🙋🏻♀️😘
I was born in 1961 so I was watching the show before reruns. My mother told me that I used to cry when they watched the show. Didn't stop me from watching it though. I seem to remember that but you never know...
Great episode clip,THNX👍
Still here watching in 2024!!! Love it!!! 😂😂😂..🖤🦇🖤🦇🖤🦇🖤🦇......
Great show
yes it is, I have a beautiful model of The.Munsters Koach and a book about The Munsters that Yvonne De Carlo and Butch Patrick did.
TKS FOR THE CLIPS AS I NEVER SAW THEM WITH MY BUSY YEARS TKS MUCH !!!
Watched the monsters all the time, love the show
That one guy is the voice of the monk in Disney's Robin Hood.
I just found out this show today, it's wonderful ♥️
@8:25 love the way the guys come out
I like watching the munsters. Very entertaining 😮😂
This show was up there with The Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family, Elvira like 👍if watched these shows growing up ⬇️💞💞💞🤗🤗🤗
Addams Family sucked next to the Munsters.
Herman Playing 🏀😆🌎
I'll turn myself into a California student and upset the whole thing 😆
Take it easy, old timer or you'll wrinkle like a rug...
I love it when KZhead reminds me I like something I forgot about.
MY FAVORITES
This episode was on today 8/11/20 😅I watch this show Monday-Friday 7-8pm & on Sundays 7-9pm🤗
One of the best comedies on KZhead
Moose was featured in several episodes of Burns and Allen. In real life he was a renowned dialect coach.
Es una serie divina un placer
6:20 the voice of the cat in the Rescuers :D
So i’ve recently been watching the Beverly Hillbillies. The actor playing “Moose” was on an episode of the Hillbillies, kinda being the same sorta character. Maybe not *QUITE* as dumb as Moose. Anyhoo he did a great job!
Actor Jack grinnage played moose.
Is Moose's dad the sketchy guy from Green Acres?
My coach would've said, "No monster boots on the court!"
Adore the Munsters❤
Our grades will be "frightfully" good when we reconnect with our academic and always normal family. Stay safe everyone!
Herman Munster was such a hilarious gigantic goofball. I wish there were more people in the world like him. I would have had a ball visiting a cooky household like the Munsters. Herman makes everyone feel welcome.
FYI: Vassar College in New York State was an all female school back in in the 1960s.
I'm a Kentucky boy I love this
Mr. Haney! Of Green Acres and Moose became a big time dialect coach in Hollywood!
Fred and Al. What a pair ♥️
yo herman was slammin yall !
Munsters were the best
Water hardening service lol
Watching this is better than watching the Super Bowl
Herman's unstoppable yo
I use to watch this show so much as a kid. Haha
i remember being 2 - 7 man I would watch this stuff every day, i'm glad my mom put these old school shows on when i was a kid, made good memories. i'm 17 now, but these movies/shows still bring out the best of me
I still love the gals ,why can't some things never change as wholesome is !
WandaVision just killed it with their take with Agatha Harkness
Oh so hes not a complete klutz after all. Basketball is his thing. Go Herman
You should see him play baseball ⚾
5:05 "Has to be, there can't be two like that." Well there is actually three with that face.
Mr. Haney..ha ha.
GO 'HEAD GRANDPA!! He was upset AND for real!!!
