As a bears fan for 40 years I haven't been this excited since the cutler puck up. Kyle is a awesome voice for the bears... great watch
I’m absolutely thrilled to have Caleb Williams as our quarterback. How he handled his press conference at the combine was brilliant. Right there I said to myself he fits right in at Chicago. The Bears will never be counted out of a game with him behind center. GO BEARS!

I think it's going to be funny for everyone thinking the Bears will be the same last year with our offense, not knowing we no longer have Luke Getsy.. So much has changed, it's going to be exciting and I hope everything works out!
Exactly what do you expect this offense to do with a rookie qb and an all new offensive staff? People need to temper their expectations for this season cuz its getting out of control.
@@williamhermann6635 my point was many people believe that we will be the same Bears organization as previous years when things are changing in the right direction. All I stated is I am excited to see what happens, certainly cannot be as bad as it was last year, right?
@@CHITECHGUY For the reasons I already mentioned, it could actually be worse than last year. I know its easy to get caught up in the excitement, but nearly all rookie quarterbacks stink. Its just a fact of life. I wouldnt expect a season like CJ Stroud had last year cuz the odds are astronomically low. Personally, Im a firm believer in letting qbs sit and learn slowly like the Packers do. I would sit Caleb the entire year without question. When you draft a qb, its a 10-15 year investment. Theres no need to rush it cuz if were being honest here this team isnt winning anything this year anyways. Let him learn slowly and mature while not taking unnecessary hits. Thats the formula to building a longterm franchise qb.
The fans will expect to see Caleb sooner rather than later . That's why Bears should pick a top hideout or a top 2 Oline to solidify the offense .

Caleb Williams is an improviser, in much the same way as Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes are! Watch Caleb’s highlights and see if you don’t see any resemblance to both Rodgers and Mahomes! This kid has all the potential to go down, in football lore, as one of the greats!

We would be at #5 now. That leaves Nabers and Odunze still on board. Now trade up with the Vikings. Give them #5 and they give us #11 and #23. Use a 2025 5th or 6th if you have to. Now we have #11 and #23 Vikings will either choose a QB or either Nabers or Odunze. While Vikings are debating who to pick, make a trade happen with the Giants. They’re #6 for our #23 and our 2025 1st round pick (or our other 2nd round pick if they take that). Giants still get a pick in the 1st round plus our 2025 1sr round. Easier to accept that against just a future pick and you’re out of the 1st round this year. Now Bears have #6 and #11. #6: draft Nabers or Odunze. #11: draft Latu or Verse. You are essentially making your 2025 1st round pick this year with an edge rusher. So you didn’t lose it. What we gave up was the 2025 2nd rounder. Which we could have used with either a player or ammo for a trade. In this case, we used it as ammo for a trade. If we make the playoff next year, we will be picking in the 20s next year for our 1st round pick. Wouldn’t you want to pick at #11 with that pick instead? So use it this year for a top 2 rusher. Also, if you have to include a player in one of those trades, then do it. Someone who we can do without but has enough value to make the trade. At #75, you can trade back to high 80s or low 90s to gain a 2025 3rd or 4th round pick. Gain back at least a pick for next year. Worst case scenario after we make that first initial trade, we are stuck at #5. Not a bad place to be to choose between those 2 main WRs remaining.
