I was a big Justin Fields fan, but I have to admit Caleb Williams seems a lot more comfortable and receptive in front of the cameras. I don't think the Chicago media will be too much for him.

@@oliverlacey3765 fans are concerned about play on the field, the media portion of the job is something not all players perform well in. You rarely find a great player that's not confident in front of cameras is what I was referencing.

I can't speak for all but I don't think all of it is dislike or rooting against him. I believe it's skepticism that has been built up over the years. Alot of passionate supporters just want to see the team be contender for a championship

I want him to do well, but I still think he'll be a bust. His physical tools seem fine, but I don't like his arrogance and mentality. He's brushing off the fact that the NFL is a hard business and he will face adversity. He thinks he's got the gold jacket already.

At 22 (or whatever age Caleb is) I couldn’t lead a dog on a walk. Some of these young athletes blow me away with their maturity and their attitude.

In my opinion Dennis Rodman is the epitome of funky clothes, painting his nails, etc., living like a non-conventional lifestyle. And Chicago never judged him once because he always worked hard and gave his all to the team. If this kid can do the same, Chicago will love him even more.

Wish Justin nothing but the best for Caleb just obviously in my opinion is way better on the field but just the communication has such a positive infectious energy about it. Rome Odunze continues to impress me. This kid has a great head on his shoulders. I like Caleb a lot, but I *love* Odunze. I think we got the best WR of this draft - not the fastest, not the flashiest, but the *best*. Both on the field and off.

i must say... #18 seems like a cool cat. Hope he handles game pressure like he handles press conference. When his interview was over he introduced himself to the ladies sitting in front row and sat down to watch #15.... Kid wins a superbowl here he'll be a legend. And for #15. Kid is gonna fit in great with our other two star recievers. Then you add his story of bears jerseys and WANTING to be here. Ryan Poles has done a remarkable job in turning this roster over. He might get Gm of the year if this team can win 1 playoff game.

Yeah I see 10-7 11-6 easily could’ve been 9-8or10-7 last year if we didn’t have turnovers and incompetent play calling in the 4th last year we have an offense now if up 6 with 8mins left we can close it out with touchdowns which helps our defense last year defense was hanging on as long as they can with our horrible play calling

Justin Fieldser here. This guy definitely grew on me I was one who didn't take stock in his tape and when I did spec the Texas game I was humbled. Love JF1 But this was a Kobe Bryant-like trade and player who beyond being Great if not better than Justin, It feels good that we fulfilled this kid's Dream of being a Bear and him having friends in the locker room to help along the way. It's just cool asf to see as a Chi Native.. Bear Down!

Yesterday it was snowing today it’s raining summed up Illinois in a nut shell my guy gonna fit right in.
Caleb is being put in a very good situation for a rookie 1st overall pick, or any first round QB really. He 's got weapons galore, and wherever he throws the ball there will be someone more than capable. Yes there will be bumps and hiccups along the way but the future in Chicago is the brightest its been since around 83 when we had our best draft until now ( Jimbo Covert HOF Tackle, Willie Gault WR. Mike Richardson DB, Dave Duerson DB, Tom Thayer G, Richard Dent HOF Edge, Mork Bortz OG), and built their Superbowl team. We still have a few things to shore up, a 3 tech Def Tackle, more IOL depth, eventually going to need another RB, a young Free Safety, and maybe some other holes that will pop up during their rookie season but are in good shape for the future.
I'm a big Justin Fields fan, but starting to warm up to Caleb, him and Rome seem to be very mature, and humble young men, who I think will be a great combination in the years to come.
