    • Its sad to say, but we often forget we live in a very superficial society, the most shallow society humans have ever created. Sounds harsh, but I'm not saying we are all evil. we just care more about ourselves and appearances than ever before in all of history. Joel would never be a big Hollywood star because he doesn't look like one. he doesn't have perfect teeth, cheek bones, facial symmetry, etc.. we don't value actors who aren't perfect looking in our society, as much as we like to think we do

  • Hola Senor Haver. I'll make this brief but I just wanted to say that bc of you I'm making a short film for the first time with my summer. Scripted, of course, lmao. You see I wasn't really the biggest fan of you at first. I love writing, particularly screenwriting. It's my favorite part of the filmmaking process and the heart of most movies imo and your dismissal of it as a slog or something holding people back was a little disheartening for me, so I put off watching your vids in my recommended for a long, long time. It was when I finally gave you a chance did I realize that you were one of the most encouraging, inspiring human beings I've seen on my 15 years on Earth. And after going through your older videos (particularly "You Are Already A Filmmaker") I got the courage to pump out a script in a week and get a crew of my most loyal friends. Filming begins next Thursday. The movie's a love letter to low budget filmmaking so it's got a ton of references to you and other talented people who aren't in Hollywood. Just wanted to thank you. Dk if you'll read this, since you get a lot of these comments but you might have maybe kinda possibly legitimately changed my life. Idk if this will even work out in the end but it sure as hell is worth a try.

  • My first video of Joel's was how every woman talk to men they just met in old movies. I love the variety of films and sketches Joel creates. Officially my favorite KZhead channel now :) P.S. maybe stop filming and uploading your videos from Tahiti, and more people will see it. No one checks Tahiti ;)

  • These videos bring me so much joy. Especially the part when the chief says "Oooh I loved it Keely! It was a FAAANTASTIC THREESOME!", as the music begins the swell. 9:19 Thank you Joel!

  • I wanna see Joel play ‘Murphy Law’ if they ever make an SCP show. Specifically the first article Murphy is featured in. He could nail the role, I can feel it.

    @bbluva20@bbluva2011 ай бұрын
    • That would be perfect. An SCP show leaning into dark humor would be awesome. An SCP show would also be able to last forever.

    • @@phillemon7664 if you think the first time ‘Murphy Law’ is featured is dark humor, you should really go read it. The latest Murphy Law story is a tiny bit dark, but that’s part of the character progression.
