Why are some faces blurred but not others?
I default to blurring all faces (assuming it’s clear enough you can tell who they are) unless we have permission to not blur.

  • What I'm noticing is the vast majority of thieves appear to be working-class people with decent/nice homes, cars, pets, etc. They already have what some people dream of and still take from others. It's sad however these videos are gold and I'm glad I stumbled across your page.

  • The fact that people keep losing their packages to thieves shows the sad reality that this is not enough of a deterrent, but if you were to design something that could actually hurt someone.... you'd probably be the one in trouble, no matter how much the thief deserved it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the mini boxing gloves, though!

    • The problem with designing a box to hurt people is, for example, look at the pawn shop scenario. You're definitely risking hurting a person that has no involvement whatsoever in the theft.

  • Use dye packs. Don’t feel bad for thief’s, stain their carpets and clothes instead. That will do a lot more than glitter. Give em something to think twice about.

  • Should definitely consider: - reducing the timing of each function/putting them all together so thieves get the full experience before they have time to throw it out - not allowing them to put the lid back on - getting something worse than glitter - potentially calling the police

    • unfortunately many of the predators got away after being arrested,. not the shows fault they were just collaborating to film a police investigation but at least they were publicly exposed.. I'm not a lawyer but if they do it wrong the charges won't stick. Kinda like the EDP445 situation but with actual police. in a perfect world we'd see mark on shark tank selling these bombs

  • Back in the day we helped create a jewelry tray that emitted tear gas and a dye that wouldn't wash off...The tear gas came out at 180 degrees...You would have to leave the car if it went off in it...Service Merchandise was having smash and grabs on entire diamond trays...The way the system worked is that as long as the tray was sitting on the magnetic base it was turned off..The second it came off the base it turned on and was looking for a signal...The transmitted were in the foyer of the store...The dye pack would obtain the signal as the subject was exiting the store...Then 10 seconds later it would go off....As long as the tray didn't leave the store no problem...We had one suspect grab a tray and shove it into his pants...When he exited the store it went off burning a hole all the way to the bone....He discovered how fast he could get out of his pants....
