  • Loved when she called the teacher Linda. I think that’s an 87 year old woman in that child’s body and she is entirely through with all of it - 😂

  • This is one of the videos I turn to when I need a laugh with a dose of child cuteness. She's adorable with her little hair ribbons and Baby Gap shirt. LOL The sassy routine is something she's picked up watching other people in her family and indication of a deep-rooted intelligence. Her facial expressions show the same as she appears to be very observant and a thinker. Even though I laugh and am impressed with her, I hope that her talents are being channeled properly to prepare her for life. Updates on her progress would be interesting.

  • "Let me tell you something, Linda!" I love it and would channel that energy, not ever squelch it or knock it down. She is brave and sassy but not mean. I love, love, love her. I would have a hard time wiping the smile off my face if I had to discipline this baby girl.

  • She is NOT bad. This the smartest and most articulate pre-schooler I have ever seen. I'm actually pretty amazed by how clearly she can express herself, how organized her thoughts are and how confident she is. She's a genius! Developmentally, most children her age can't even speak clearly and this little wonder is holding a whole argument. She could be a lawyer!

    • @theoneandonlyTish I totally agree. I've seen that same kind of thing over and over again in my work in preschools, daycare centers, and elementary schools. Black children are punished for developmentally appropriate behavior and White children are gently guided to more skillful behavior. This little girl is right. She's fed up with school and she has the right to say so. I hope she never loses that confidence.

    • Notice that she was still following the rules? She didn't leave the timeout area. And it's okay to practice articulating your words at this age. Her choice of words may change over time. She will be able to professionally confront "authority figures", even the ones who have bad intentions - A bully can be perceived as an authority figure. This girl is practicing assertive communication. What if she was put in timeout for a silly reason, and she knows it?

They have no intellect of their own and lack the ability to comprehend or rationalize. That is why they are taught. No one was a perfect child-lol. • 1. Correspondent: Why do assume that this is the MOTHER's behavior? Doesn't she have a Daddy? Maybe a sassy older sister or brother . . . others??? Granted, this child certainly does need some "respect" lessons. However, I also feel that she knows and feels that she does not have a very good teacher either - even at this young age, she knows. 2. Teacher what about your behavior and words? Why would you tell a child (no matter) what age and behavior that s/he is now in "jail," and that she is a BAD person? Amazing that this school system has allowed you to teach our young children.

    • Absolutely right. She's just a preschooler. Children learn from what they see & hear around them each day. She's not "bad". I heard no vile or profane words from her. Parents must not beat their children unnecessarily. They are just imitating them. Just correct them or "teach" them a better way to express themsejves before they grow older. Then it will be too late. I think she's got much attitude for her age. Just needs to be toned down some.

She sounds like she is repeating everything she has "heard" at that school by her "pre-school teacher" when the children have worked that teacher's nerves. A teacher would say "I Run The Class Room." This child did not come up with this by herself. Children live what they learn. She is a really good listener.

  • There's a cuteness in some behaviors of small children that are not cute when they get older. As a nine year old only child, I remember telling my then two year old cousin to not touch certain things like TV knobs that often snapped off. At the time, I wasn't thinking choking hazard as I would now. I was thinking the adults would flip out and be blaming someone. Someone told me that she (the 2 year old) was only a baby and didn't understand. Lesson learned: If you don't teach a child that something is not acceptable, they will grow up thinking it is.
