There will no longer be any paper monies because all transactions will be done electronically. Everyone will be expected to have credit accounts except robots? Rich countries will give out more credits than smaller or poorer countries would? But overall, there will still be wealth inequalities all over the world. Utopia is a "dream"?

    • Technology replaces manual labour for several reasons. In mind of average Joe, there comes a question: What does happen to the jobs? In not a distant future, as human societies progress on the trajectory of capitalism life cycle, all participants in economic activities are rewarded with universal income. In return, the governments act only as legistative bodies. People thus pay for every service that they receive, including health, security, and so on.

    • Why are you afraid of evolution and technology? Before motors were invented, ancient people used to row their warships by hands. Each ship was manned by dozens of galley rowers. Sometimes they used slaves because no one really liked that job. No one missed when it was gone, either. We should learn to appreciate technology and not hinder it or try to stop it. If everyone is afraid of changes, we would still be living in cages.

    • Depends on where on the globe these devices are put into use. If these sorts of robots are put into use in the fields throughout the rural U.S. for instance, certainly there would be far less reason for illegal immigration to occur. It's because most U.S. citizens don't and won't work the growing fields doing such manual labor, which in turn gives rise to aliens illegally crossing over the border just to fill those sorts of jobs in the first place.

  • Much of this video, the robots are inside buildings.... I didn't like it at first, and then the weeding part I thought people, and me would like. The funny thing though is, when I grow stuff, it feels good to be outside and notice all the different things. Some of those weeds too are actually healthier than the food that we grow. Very interesting video, it pushes a lot of different emotional buttons!

  • Waw! What an interesting video docmenary about farming and its workings. I never thought that these robots existed and can do such wonderful, delicat good jobs. So now when I buy my beautiful healty fruit and vegetables I'll think of these robots and be grateful that we can enjoy very healthy fruit and vegetables. A big thank you to those who invented them and operate them so eficiently for our healthy eating. Bless you dear kind people and a big thank you, too🙂. Amazing!

    • You right, no one seem to realize that in order to function these robots need electricity and batteries which need rare earth metals. Will the robots be mining themselves what they need to operate or will be still left to those poor souls slaving in third world countries? How sustainable or ethical this can be?

  • I’m a Vege grower for over 50 years , here’s the hidden problem, with full time employees we have to give them 4 weeks annual holidays then , 11 days statutory holidays , then 10days sick leave , that’s 41 days a year on pay and no work , if they work on these 11 days ( public holidays ) we have to give them time and a half plus day in Liu , yet super markets don’t pay the growers any more , as our prices are based on supply and demand. So yes Robots are the future.
