  • Honestly I was going to be mad about how it seems all of a sudden everyone seems to be abusing MatPat's retirement, but looking at the positive comments made me realize they aren't abusing his retirement, but celebrating his life, and that we get to share one last journey with MatPat.

    • @@SaltynSassy31 My guess is that because it was such a big moment on KZhead, a large number of people were making memes joking about it, or some people weren't "fond" of the choices to retire/pass down the channels to the other team members & "expressed" that (this is just me assuming as I haven't seen anything really negative yet)

    • ​@@salehdarwish4409 My guess is that they plan out a pretty specific release schedule to make sure that they're uploading videos consistently, so even if they finished editing this video weeks ago they would always release it now. They probably film multiple interviews on the same days and will have weeks where they might film nothing at all, so they have to schedule video releases way in advance to make sure they have videos uploading regularly.

  • It’s so crazy seeing big time celebrities, like Pedro Pascal, Oscar Isaac, Emilia Clarke, Ryan Reynolds, RDJ, Ana De Armas, etc., getting Wired Autocomplete interviews, and then seeing Matthew Patrick, my favorite KZheadr since I was 5 years old, also getting to take of these. I know that Mat talked about how all his teachers and his parents encouraged him to learn and how he wanted to be that person for the next generation, and him getting one of these interviews really just cements that! He was DEFINITELY that person for me! 💚🏆

  • maybe it's corny but i love how _passionate_ matpat is about everything. everything he says is just overflowing with love for everything, love for learning and curiosity and other people and life!! he's inspired millions of children (including myself) to be curious and be learners just like him, and that is such a wonderful gift. the way he talks about his channel and his community and his staff is so passionate and loving and it's so delightful to listen to
