Shows just how much France were a shambles. They had rebelled against the coaching staff and were basically rogue at this WC, not a single performance in the pool was up to their potential and standard, this was the golden generation with Dusautoir, Harinordoquy, Mas, Servat, Rougerie, Yachvili, Parra, Clerc... bloody embarrassing they couldn't score a single try for the whole 80min (finally score one at 81').

Was that really an upset? France had nothing to play for in this match, they were going to finish in second place of the group as long as Tonga did not win with a try bonus point and at least a 25 points difference. It was never going to happen.

The upset is in the fact that France puts millions of dollars in to there world cup campaign, as well as having a fully developed pathway from grass roots rugby to elite level. And having a bigger player pool to select from than the whole population of Tonga itself. And still got thrashed by a "tier 2 nation" which players get paid peanuts to represent there country and put there body on the line. So please stop with the ignorance and trynna discredit Tonga. You don't want the intellectual smoke lad
