After all, the premise of the film occurs against the backdrop of a historic ‘Ikale Tahi win against France in Wellington at the rugby World Cup in 2011.

  • Stayed in the same hotel as the Tongan team, by chance, the night they beat France. They were absolutely shattered after their great victory but they were proper GENTLEMAN - and their fans were fantastic! 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  • I'm guessing the Tongan word 'mafana' is similar to the Māori word 'wana' which means 'to be exciting, thrilling, inspiring, stimulating, moving, rousing'. I'll leave that one for the linguists.
