    • @@epsilonbeta4877 time will tell how Italy will fare in the next 5 Six Nations but one thing is for sure the days of Italy being immedietly written off before a ball has even been kicked are gone the competition itself will be better off for it on the Wales Question the only thing anyone is really asking is how long will they be down for with the great George North retiring this year atm there's no one half the man he was coming in to replace him that is the real fear going forward that it could be a good while before Wales become Competitive again they definitely could be racking up a few wooden spoons in the next 5-10 years

    • i mean shit 78 minutes played and Italy were winning 24-7 point being Wales did absolutely nothing for the first 63 Minutes of the game just saying it's a reality if you are shutout for the first 60 minutes of any game of Rugby odds are you will lose simple as that

    • from an Irish guy yea that's the crazy thing Italy genuinely could have won 4 games and while they wouldn't have won the competition it would have been incredible hell this Six Nations was incredible after that hammering against Ireland they finished the remaining 3 games undefeated 2 wins 1 draw 3 game unbeaten streak longest in Six Nations History 2 game winning streak first time since 2007 first time in Six Nations History Italy have not lost most of their games

  • The youngs was there also in WC. What Crowley failed to deliver in their game, was a good defensive phases and a proper kicking game. He was too much focused on the attacking phases. And i don't criticize him, he did an hell of a work, but this Italy needed to be more balanced between defense/attack/kicking game. That is what Quesada did and th le resukts are there.

  • as recently as 2 years ago there was so much noise about Italy not deserving to participate in the 6N and now they finished 2-1-2 - what a turnaround

    • yea it took awhile in fairness i will admit i was one of the people who said they should go in my defense they went 6 consecutive years shutout almost was a 7th then after they got that win against Wales they proceed to get shutout in the next championship which was leading me to say here we go again same old Italy going into 2024 Italy had been shutout in 7 of the last 8 competitions recording 8 straight wooden spoons and had only won a single game in their last 42 games shit was really grim 2024 did not start off well losing again to England and then getting crushed by Ireland entering France Italy were now 1-44 in their last 45 games Morale was pretty low among alot of people the sad reality is they got screwed over in that France game should have won it but dumb ref for whatever reason didn't order the kick to be retaken after a blatant early charge down but after that Italy racked off 2 wins to end the competition W 2 L 2 D 1 their best year yet tho i will be blunt i said this after 2022 some people are getting alittle carried away and need to calm down see how they do next year because once again i would not be surprised if they get shutout in 2025 not saying they will just saying it would be of no surprise

My point was it's better for the game to have Italy in the 6N and there is no apparent substitute that can immediately compete with France and the home nations.

  • I think we played very well, but also wasted soo much good situations especially in first half. I felt like 11-0 was short... and jesus christ feeling dat while watching six nation was soooo new and fresh i didnt no how to react.. I want wales to get back to top in no time and Italy to be able to to give continuity to this results for an always more competitive six nations.

    • That Gatland is well past his use by date. He was hopeless with the Waikato Chiefs. Just lucky the six nations don’t have relegation and promotion from the 2nd tier Europe rugby nations, otherwise the once power house of European rugby could be history in the Six Nations and that would be a kick in guy for all the great Welsh Players, Coaches Administration who built Rugby in Wales Wales are just about Rugby ‘s equivalent of the West Indies Cricket team

  • The game outcome possibility was stupid. Wales should ALREADY of had the wooden spoon before it had even been played. Advocate of the bonus points but this is the downside of it. Italy could have finished bottom despite losing less games than Wales. Equally Ireland would probably still have won 6N even if they lost and England beat France. Just feels wrong.

    • imo maybe you can make an argument for losing bonus point to be scrapped but winning bonus point should remain as it encourages more positive attacking Rugby before this came in most scores came from penaltys there's been a clear increase in trys scored since

  • Wales are looking in serious trouble for a few positions. We done have a quality enough front row, a big physical number 6, as structured fly half and nick Tompkins has the worst game of rugby I’ve seen a player play. I’m trying not to be negative but I don’t know where we go from here… no new players to bring in either

  • Hey rugby players, please quit sticking your tongues out and looking stupid for the cameras. You are meant to be professionals. Who does that? Coaches, keep your subs out of the in goal area during the match. They don’t belong there, especially after a try and definitely not before the ball has been grounded. It’s wrong, and has to stop. No other sport allows substitutes to physically interact with the active players on the field of play during the match.

Ganando a Gales y Escocia y además un empate con Francia, que pudo ser otra victoria de no ser por un último golpe de castigo, que dió en el palo, con precedente que se cayó el balón del soporte y menoscabó la concentración!!. Italia, ha ido progresando mucho físicamente como a nivel estratégico, faltando la motivación mental, que debilitaba las segundas partes también a nivel físico y resultaban ser desastrosas. Ello lo ha superado y por fin llegó el salto cualitativo y cuantitativo de Italia, que puede soñar con la corona en poco tiempo!!. Saludos, GRACIAS! Rafa
