Right lol, he just it right in front of the bad guy with acid.
For real. Don’t even take your eyes off the cup if there’s people around.
Always take it with you.

Bill Bixby was such a good actor
I!Agree With You About This One!Rosario!
He was amazing. Such a talent for understatement and timing.
Gary Graham! Seriously, the guys been in everything!! Also, Hulk getting dosed with acid is just wild....
Excellent clip. The worst part for David is that even during the height of his trip, he'd know exactly what was happening to him, but be unable to control his responses and reactions.
Yeah that has to be super scary trapped in your own body and unable to control yourself yikes 😬
He could control how long it took him to metamorphosis into the Hulk…. When he was flying that 747 Jet, It took him 5 mins to change. I went on a bathroom break and came back and he was still flying while changing into his Hulk attire. Seems like ole boy was resisting the transition… 🤷♂️
@@tonytee7324 I understand your point but, “resisting” is not the same as “controlling.” In certain situations, David Banner may be able to “resist” the speed in which he morphs into the Hulk. However, he ultimately cannot control the final outcome. He STILL becomes the Hulk against his wishes. Hence..., he cannot control himself.
I say transforming against your Will into the Hulk is more scary than getting High.
@@cutesyprincess14 David never transforms voluntarily. That aside, this would be worse, not only is he high, but both personas have been brought face to face with each other.
Never in a million years did I think I would ever see The Hulk tripping on acid 🤣

Best Hulk - out ever next to Prometheus' halfway transformation !!
I completely agree with you. This was an amazing Hulk-Out but the halfway transformation from Prometheus was the best! Actually, if I had to choose my favorite episode out of the entire series it would have to be the two part Prometheus episode. Kenneth Johnson always did an excellent job whenever he directed an episode, especially the pilot, but he definitely went all out during Prometheus and it shows.
@@archangel5627 The First also a favorite. The guy that played Swamp Thing was Fryes creature . His name is Dick Durock . I actually still dream about Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno Hulk !! It's weird !! LoL

The hulk is angry at David for keeping him suppressed, not letting him out to play
You are correct 💯
Puny Banner! You can tell this was the first episode of the season; Lou was in top shape. He tended to get rather smooth as the season progressed.
That’s why all his muscles were so prominent! I’m more used to him being smooth!
Leo is a very blessed guy. He didn’t win the Mr. Olympia but instead became a very successful television and movie star.
Who needs to push the exit door open; when you could just Hulk smash it? Damn, this show is awesome!!
What's always troubled me is David mentioned in "The Death of the Incredible Hulk" he's never seen the creature. This episode and "Married" shoots down that theory.
He’s seeing an image based on pictures he’s seen. He never saw the creature live and the metamorphosis which is what he was seeing in Death.
David has seen photos of himself as the Hulk and on tv in the series so it's in his subconscious mind and he knows what he looks like.
I agree. I think the writer of "The Death of the Incredible Hulk" has never seen these episodes.
Yes, just those small inconsistencies can throw a fan off.
He did see the creature in an experiment in am episode where he was filmed changing into the hulk.He watched the footage after.
I cant help but imagine how difficult it would be for the Hulk if he was real today being sent to anger management class and respecting other peoples personal boundaries....
🤣
Turning into the Hulk helped him process the acid out of his system quicker too
Man I was 8 years old when I first saw the commercial advertising this new show called The Incredible Hulk. They showed him facing the camera and he had his arms and hands up in the air roaring and I ran upstairs and told my 2 brothers that this new show about this big green monster with these giant green monster clay hands is coming on. To me at the time his hands looked so big and puffy and they looked like green giant clay hands. After that first show I was hooked. These new hulk movies are alright but nothing compares to the hulk of yesterday, raaaaaaawwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
David was tripping balls!
XD
Who knew Greg would become a cop and encounter aliens in a few years?
Dude was everywhere in the 80s and 90s! Alien Nation, serial killer in The First Power, Nosferatu vampire in Kindred-The Embraced, another vampire on Buffy! All cuz he dropped some tabs into a dude's orange juice...
@@robertthedevil7598 He also played a cop who was the son of the grandson of Qwai Chan Caine (also played by David Carridine ) in the updated reboot of the Kung Fu series.‼️
Greg also went on to play an alien himself in the 22nd Century and assist a warp ship crew. 🖖
@@ai6894 Can you explain the joke to me? The guy who played Alien Nation, etc was not in The Hulk Series.
@@Sandstroem1981 Gary Graham (special guest star as "Greg" who spiked Banner's orange juice) played as Detective Sykes on the "Alien Nation" FOX series 📺. He replaced James Caan from the film. Gary later went on to play Vulcan ambassador Soval.
The kid looks like Mick Jagger with a face lift.
This is one of the best Hulk Outs. This shows the transformation process in a whole new level as well as examine the relationship between Hulk and David Banner. They may be not be fully separate personalities but they each represent a part the other hate.
I agree. I've always been curious about the relationship between the two men and if they share a consciousness of each other's encounters. Hulk's anger always automatically seemed directed at David's enemies or people who were clearly the 'bad guys" and I assumed it was because he had consciousness of David's encounters. But I was never quite clear about David and if he had consciousness of what the hulk was doing and to whom. Lastly, I found the scene where David and the Hulk face each other, a bit confusing. Perhaps it was just because David was tripping on acid, but it seemed as if hulk was viewing David as an adversary when I always thought he would regard him as a friend.
The Hulk probably viewed David as an adversary because he knew that David was always trying to find a cure for his transformations, which would have meant the end of the Hulk's own existance.
@@KevinJohnson-hy4oc True. Interesting analysis.
That famous alley shot of the Hulk running down at the end of the scene. That clip was reused many times throughout the series.
Budget cuts.
This is the only time in the series that we realize the Hulk's hatred for puny Banner. Never knew he hated him until I started reading the comics.
Why did he hate him?
@@TDH24Live Because the Hulk is a massive muscle man who hated puny banner and didn't know he was Banner. All he saw when he thought of him was what general Thaddeus thunderbolt Ross would say that he's a milk shop (wimp) who let everyone push him around.
@@knightrcer Well sometimes that's the case. In other versions, the Hulk hates "puny Banner" not just for being insignificant, but because he knows Bruce is trying to get rid of the Hulk.
@@MawileMage Yeah, I've been reading the comics since I was about 11 years old watching the TV series since I was about 8. My friend collected tales to astonish comic books where he first appeared. He gave me his extras. Kevin Johnson who produced The Incredible Hulk asked in his season 3 commentary for the episode for promytheus if anyone had a copy of the mad magazine skit they did on his show. I save copies of an online a decade before. He said I was the only one to reply and he mailed me a photograph of him with bill Bixby putting on the contacts for the first time autographed "to an incredible friend." I have it signed and framed on my wall to this day. Nice to know that I was able to help out someone who helped create a show that entertained me for decades.
@@TDH24Live I always assumed that Hulk was afraid that Banner would find a way to stop the metamorphosis therefore ending his existence.
Over the course of the series, we get a pretty good idea of how David Banner feels about the Hulk. But this is the one and only time we ever get to see how the Hulk feels about David Banner. Hell, it's pretty much the only indication we ever get that he's even aware of him. And what a douche bag he seems to be from the Hulk's POV. Just fearlessly taunting and mocking him. The Hulk throws what he thinks is David across the room more viciously and violently than any random thug from any other episode who'd just tried to kill somebody.
I like to think it's because he hates how David is always trying to find ways to get rid of him. He hates being locked up inside of David.
Irony, isn't it. They both really don't like each other.
When the Hulk is hallucinating and throws what he imagines to be Banner across the room, his mind was all screwed up by the drug. If he was in his right mind, he probably would never have tried to seriously hurt anyone.
Mick Jagger puts acid in David's drink.
remember seeing this what must be 40years ago. the fear and desperation of Banner, the crazy hulk music, the green screen fade out, him looking down at the the green paint/goo on his shoes. it was quite scary to a kid. but fun at the same time! theres another hulk out that i remember from back then thats always stuck with me. a checked shirted Banner (what else) is talking with some cowboy types and then they turn on him and they push him into something where he gets flushed into a drainpipe or something and we see shirt splitting eyes changing through in a crack while getting 'flushed,' then he comes up as hulk (very vague memory about that. just remember banners eyes changing as hes getting 'flushed away')
More realistic than today's Hulk.
Man, it really makes me sad to see where they went with Hulk in the MCU, Banner and all of the Hulks are such interesting characters in the comics, I would've loved to see going Mark Ruffulo on the run and a deep exploration of both Banner and the Hulks like in the The Immortal Hulk run.
I hate how Mark became a silly idiot in Infinity War and Endgame, he was far better in The Avengers and Age Of Ultron. I hope we see more of that Banner in She-Hulk.
@@ytuser_3122 The first Avengers and Age Of Ultron got his character the best, but even the first one had the habit of making him comic relief.

This is actually a surprisingly realistic showcase of the kinds of things acid does to your perception.
This has to be the scariest hulk out ever in the TV series
Right after the pilot episode.
Damn hulk be tripping!
Lou Ferrigno is the best person to play the Hulk he's really great even I'm addicted to watching this scene many times If I remember Bill Bixby I'm sure I'll watch this film thank you🙏 for this channel upload this scene🙏
Yes. I more than agree. Thanks for the upload ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️.
LOL so many funny things about this scene man. David calling for Jackie and tugging at his leg with nothing there while she and the other dude has their backs to him and are completely oblivious. I mean, imagine if they had turned around and saw him doing that? They wouldn't be able to hear him from inside the recording booth, so David would have looked ridiculous 😆 And then 4:02, David's face as he says "Jackie" and then the wiggle of the jaw 😆😆😆 I bet Bill and the crew had real fun filming this at the time, he apparently had that sort of sense of humour.
"Jackiieeee?" That alone makes me split my rib 😂
The Reason why I think HULK Hates David Banner in this series is one, he likely wanted to break free from being Contained in Banners body. And I believe that's why Hulk has always seemingly hated David.
@@devinmiller5891 Interesting theory, but Hulk is not some spirit or entity trapped in David's body in literal terms. He's a manifestation and outgrowth of David's bad side, which isn't present and conscious until the transformation is complete. I don't think it's a case of Hulk being trapped in David's DNA strand, just his blueprint is there ready to be triggered. Maybe the hostility is more about Hulk being the antithesis of David's mild mannered, gentle character. The alpha looks at the beta in disgust because he represents everything that goes against his very nature. That seems more logical than the being trapped thesis.
@@devinmiller5891 That's probably what they were trying to convey with the image of the Hulk in a cage trying to get at David through the bars.
@@HariSeldon913 Yeah the cage could be a representation or a Reminder that David is the ONE containing the HULK in his body. In conclusion, David has SEEN the Hulk multiple Times even before the Death of the Incredible Hulk movie, but only in a few episodes he has. the Death of the incredible hulk is where David finally sees the Hulk in a recorded video of him as the beast.
Amazing episode, these were always some of the coolest episodes were we saw both sides of David together! Even though David and the Hulk we're supposed to be seeing each other as images due to the acid it still counted as them being seen together. As was the case when the Hulk picked up David over his head and the Hulk was stepping on David. Also during this moment mixing in scenes from "Married" when David and the Hulk met each other in the desert in a mindscape which was incredible!!!
I think this is the scariest hulk out of the live action hulks
"What is that?" "Looks like...a tall white bodybuilder painted green!"
Look At A Young James Reynolds Frum D.O.O.L’s
I always found it strange that they used both Ted Cassidy and Charles Napier's Hulk voices when David is tripping out.
Are you talking about the replays of the caged Hulk? Those were filmed during Cassidy's era, and they simply left in his growls. Had to do new growls for this hulkout. I never noticed until I saw your comment, but that's what they did.
5:15 my favorite part lol.
This show is fantastic. Ik what I'm watching after work today
The guy playing "Greg" is the same actor who portrayed Vulcan Ambassador Soval on "Star Trek: Enterprise" many years later.
How the mighty have fallen.
Why I always have my drinks with me. You can never trust strangers around your drinks.
I had nightmares being trapped in a room with the hulk as a kid.
The Incredible Hulk: *don't make him angry* The Incredible Hulk on acid: *cease to exist*
Two comments: #1: why is there always a dark alley for Hulk to run through? #2: why does no one question what happened to Banner?
1# That's reused footage they had to cut down due to the costs remember this show was expensive to run at the time. 2# They never really explained that your guess is as good as mine.
I missed these shows they were awesome 👌
Lou was the original Hulk I guess I watched every show from the one that started it over the wreck David and his wife had great show
The Hulk is really scary in this episode 😳
What about the episode "Dark Side" when David took some bad medicine that turned him into a evil man and when he turned into the Hulk at that disco place, he tried to harmed those people.
@@thenextbigthing7692 yeah I like that episode too. David was out of control. They should upload that episode on KZhead. That will be awesome.

Man, they always did David wrong…😂. Btw, is the guy playing Greg the same main character from the late 80’s series Alien Nation?
Yes. He's been in many shows as guests. But a regular cast member of Alien Nation.

Because he's in his 20s and thinks he knows it all.

IMPRESIONANTE CAPITULO !!!! 💖💖💖
Very Cool Scene!!
Hmm, I didn't know the Hulk could get high!🤣🤣🤣
You would think his healing factor wouldn't allow it.
So he has seen the Hulk before 🤔
I assume you're referring to the scene in the Death movie when David watched back the video with Hulk in the chamber and said he'd never seen him before right? Yeah that always confused me a little when I was a kid, but I think what he meant was, he hadn't really seen Hulk in the flesh for real before being played back like that, he'd only really had an imagined image of what he would be like in motion, as he'd only seen press cut outs of the Hulk up to that point. That's what I think anyway.
In the season two part episode "Married" he has but only through hypnosis. I'm surprised there were never any news stations that captured the Hulk on camera.
@@jeremyknight9980 McGee tried, but they were either too late, or Hulk wrecked all the equipment LOL. In Married, that was David's perceived image of the Hulk, but they were never going to put some alternative version in there. He couldn't possibly have seen such an accurate image, especially seeing that the only images he saw were of Season One Hulk, who looked quite a bit different to the one at the beginning of Season Two. Hulk wasn't 100% on canon unfortunately, but we took it as it was.
@@jeremyknight9980 in The Death of The Incredible Hulk, he said he had never seen The Hulk face to face.
@@Longlostpuss fair assessment. But it's sad that he can't remember anything about his actions as the Hulk.

Yes awesome but they should’ve been buddies or as a team
In the comics, it's made clear that banner and Hulk hate each other and want the other gone. Even in the 1996 Hulk series this concept is Carried over and in here, just like the comics, they want the other dead.
@@redking8243 banner doesn,t hate hulk in this show but i think hulk hates banner

How many times do people have to provoke David before He Hulks Out?
The worst part for banner is that a lot of the time, he Transforms when no one is looking and he doesn't reveal this secret to anyone. So no one really knows it's Banner hulking out.
There was one episode where he Hulked out because no one in the block would help a kid who was being abused by his father he even went to the houses and begged for help before transforming

Saw a commercial for this whe it first came out, but the time slot was shorter than the clip so they sped up the transformation so it took a second instead of normal half-minute, it was during a lightning bolt and it looked fantastic. Think they slowmotioned it way too often.
Lou Ferrigno was big as hell always like him better than Arnold Schwarzenegger
Did you that if Arnold was taller than Lou he would've gotten the role as the Hulk but Lou was taller than him and that's why they gave it to Lou.
