That was hilarious, poor Rubinhio. I'm also filming so I can perfectly understand him, you can't watch the camera while driving like this.
That camera weight was probably pretty massive on all the G forces :)

This is Monaco. If Nico's car goes by without him driving, it wouldn't make it to the city limits because everybody knows everybody and the Monaco Police are reputedly quite capable while unobtrusive. Or maybe Nico could just shut it down using his cell phone, I dunno.

I have a photo, a selfie from the 90s in front of the casino there, with the light green "pegla" (fiat 126p "polski") and black 911 right one next to another in front of the casino entrance, it seemed so normal for monte carlo, great little town.
Probably figured: "I can't get in without the fob. I can't figure out how to deactivate the parking-brake. If someone else can figure those things out and drive away, he probably is the rightful owner, a la Arthur and Excalibur.

I love how this car doesn't have some crazy over the top lines in its design. It kind of looks timeless. The more I look at it the more beautiful it is.
No distinctive lines does not make it timeless. It makes a car to disappear in the annals of history

As someone who lives around here, we are so blessed with the amount of gorgeous roads we can drive on. Hope to see it on the grande or moyenne corniche Nico. Congrats and enjoy :)
The onboard computers make the car do impossible menuvers with torque vector, it can do huge reverse drifts just by turning the wheel in the general direction you want to go, if you are going way to fast for a hairpin just turn the wheel and the car will just magically go around, i love the wheels i think they look futuristic and match the car

It takes a lot of trust in the traction/stability systems to handle that kind of power delivery where it feels like its moving around under full throttle but its still staying in a straight line mostly. I have a ZL1 and after a year of owning it I'm still scared to go full throttle at speed, but I do it and the car just sorts itself out. Nico is truly a legendary driver and it's amazing to see cars that almost intimidate his skills.

You know that animation in star trek when they go to warp drive and all the stars turn into the glowing white lines? I think when you're in the launch mode and lift that left foot off the brake in Nevera, that's exactly what happens with your vision. The blood in your eyeballs is drained to the back of your skull and the tunnel-vision blindness is catching up and speeding ahead with those blind spot lines making that vision narrower and narrower, only seeing things directly ahead of you. Then, when you finally slow down and the vision is restored you start laughing and swearing uncontrollably, because you're hysterical and have no idea what the hell just happened. God i wanna try that. Damn... i'm almost 40 and i'm nerding up so much right now i can't even... 😱

I remember when the Rimac Concept One came out and I saw it in person, that was a incredible piece of machinery for me, now this is another level. You still have crazy skills Nico, congratulations.
Cool to see the first customer delivered car on the road! You should do an endurance road trip, how far you could go and still would be comfortable in the Nevera.
Knight Rider theme music was a nice touch. Very appropriate that Nico puts this unique car through its paces. Of all the billions of people that have inhabited this planet, Nico is only one of two people that has achieved something very unique. Would have been great to have Damon sitting alongside him in the Rimac. Seeing Nico and Damon together during their Media duties always puts a smile on my face. Cheers from the Land Down Under.

Matte REALLY did the car up! I love the cockpit, the controls, the UI, everything. The car is TOTALLY sick! Plus, it has a proper driver, a F1 world champ... :)

Die Karre ist einfach nur stilvoll brutal und klug gemacht. Das Fahrverhalten scheint nahezu unvergleichbar zu sein. Optisch sticht er nicht hervor und das kann manchmal auch ganz gut sein, Fazit… Nico hast du Glück (auch) gehabt dir heute sowas zu ermöglichen zu können, natürlich auch verdient. Grüße aus Wien. Tolles Video kann ruhig mehr davon kommen.

You can just tell how fast this is just by watching the cameraman riding shotgun. Dude looks like a ragdoll getting tossed around haha 😄. @@alansuess6704 this car weighs 2.2 tonnes. A horrific amount of weight. Nico found drift mode difficult but its not because of the power. Its because of the weight. High weight means high polar moment of inertia and that means the car will resist changes of direction more than a lighter car.

I loved Nico's Nightrider reference. How cool would it be if Mate Rimac could turn on a talking car feature - with Kit's voice of course - remotely to gag Nico. Hide it in a firmware update perhaps? I don't know how many Neveras will be made and sold, but I have a very strong suspicion that _none_ of them will be driven remotely as hard as Nico's, and especially so soon after receiving it. That poor cameraman. I bet we all felt sorry for him, even if he does have some major bragging rights now.
You guys are too funny, and I'm so glad locking your keys in your car isn't limited to non-F1 drivers only. :) Mind you that is odd how Rimac actually allows the car to be locked while the keys are inside, my basic classic Hyundai Ioniq 28kWh doesn't let me lock the car while the keys are inside. I would love to see you take it on the track somewhere and give it a good run, maybe the Nürburgring. What an amazing car.

Being in the passenger seat and holding a camera while pulling those Gs is extremely difficult. Take a ton of core strength to not slide into Nico. Nice job 👏 👍.
