Chris Johnson || Tennessee Titans || Career Highlights
Chris Johnson is one of my favorite players of all time. Call me young and say I have a Titans biased and I wont disagree. He was exciting to watch and as a Titans fan I don't think we really appreciated him in the moment. Some of those radio calls of his runs still play in my head and I can remember them word for word. HE'S GOT GETTING AWAY FROM THE COPS SPEED!!! I Love it. I wanted to do more complete highlights for players careers and with Chris retiring I couldn't pick a better one. Thanks for the memories CJ2K. My all time favorite player. I watch a lot of Chris Johnson videos and have been for a long time and I must say, this is by far the best one I've seen. Included every big play in a way you could really enjoy all the plays and feel his impact through the music and quotes. Most electrifying running back of all time and by far the scariest home run threat in league history.
I really do honestly appreciate that comment. I put a lot of time into these videos and I try to tell a story instead of just throwing highlights at you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. One of my favorite Titans ever. Thank you!

Just sharing the love!! haha.

Justin Sanders Name a better homerun hitter at RB
“He so fast he make fast ppl look not fast”😂
Thank you Unger. 😂😂
Love that movie😂
Was literally thinking of that quote watching this video right before I scrolled into the comments and saw this 😂
😂😂😂 ok unger
😂
He wasn't just fast he has skills on reading his blockers & great vision
He knew he could take a little longer because of that burst he had.
Not really though
@@micahclawrence Professional Football Commentators: Wow what great patience and vision he has, one of the best ever Some random guy on KZhead: Nah tho.
AND he broke tackles.
The way you know an athlete is extremely fast is when they don't even look like they running but they just pull away from everybody.
The replay at about 17:25 explains that perfectly, look how Johnson just jogging cuz it’s pre season and look how hard the titans receiver is running just to almost keep up
Kinda like derick henry
@@lgrw9883 Chris 2K was one of the best, if not the best RB ever. The running game is hard on player, physically. No one gets hit more, tackled more, and handles the ball more than RB. Oh except the QB and center, if you want to be technical about it, who conveniently hand off or throw. RB's are the toughest players on the field.
Bro you took the words out of my mouth 👌
He doesn't look crazy fast it's weird but watching the defenders just shoe he's moving
Makes 80 yd runs look like 30yds.. Fast AF
Sometimes you don't realize it until the announcers say 76 YARDS!!
Fa Real!! Dats so fuckin crazy!! And he would get to the Enzone like nothin!! Dats how fast he was!! Laawdd!!💯💨💨💨💨💨😄

Dude was one of the bigger WR in the league at the time. It was expected
The Titans sure have a lot of knowledge on getting special RB’s
This man literally made NFL defenses look like high school players. Idgad how short his career was. Make him a Hall Of Famer!
Best indicator of his exceptional speed is when he gets to the edge and turns it up, a DB or two got the angle until they don't because he has that burst gear that people find when being chased.
Y’all say anything, this is comical
@@E3litecompanystfu. The dude. Was a beast

It still hurts my feelings to watch him run for anybody but my Titans. He was an EXTRAORDINARY home run hitter. Love ya' CJ!
Man I think if an RB runs for 2000 yards in a season and are as game changing as chris johnson they should get the MVP. It's been done 6 times in 100 years, it's deserving of the award
And 3 of them are from the same team
I remember the 2008 season. Just tearing on everyone
Should've won the superbowl that year
@@jeremythornton667 we should've but we blew it, still nice to remember that hell of a season
Adust Gaming Titans making history rn. I love this team
Best RB of all time. Played against a stacked box 8-9 players. When they knew he was coming, he still went through them.
People forget about Chris Johnson frfr
You want to know how much Troy respected CJs speed? Check his angle at 3:40. Lol
And he was right, cuz he was the one who had to catch him LOL
WOOOOW
damn you right though
Me and my brother always talked about that. Still funny to the day 😂😂😂
WOW. He sacrificed 20 yards or so he wouldn't take it to the house. Props to Troy for being a very cerebral player but make no mistake that CJ2K was the best home run threat in the league every time he touched the ball. Either he was going to be met at the Line of Scrimmage or something special was about to happen. His speed was unparalleled for his time.
Most explosive/electric running back to ever play in the NFL
You legit though he could take it every time.
Dean Starks nigga u seen Barry Sanders okay football?
@@moedoe188 AP ALL DAY
@@moedoe188 Barry wasn't as fast and CJ wasnt as big as Barry. Barry might be my fav RB of all-time and is probably the greatest back ever but CJ was quicker. Barry also did it longer than CJ and that ain't debatable...But as far as explosion and home-run hitting...it's really not close. The numbers are in CJs favor by a lot. Visually, they're pretty close...Barry was caught from behind a few times and CJ got caught because he was clowinin...But anyways...CJ and Barry are probably 1 and 2 all-time explosive backs..this aint a knock on either.
@@tjheinz057 AP is close...I'll put him right there.

Yes , I agree. Only I mean only if we had a qb. The best runner back we ever had as a Titans. I hope Henry comes alone but it's all about if you have it or you don't. Teams was in the box and he still was getting 100+ yards
Bro this was like watching a movie the best video I ever seen on Chris Johnson. Really enjoyed this video👍
William Ivery thank you! I appreciate it.
Great video! Chris Johnson deserves to be remembered as one of the greats. He was a small back that needed to depend on superhuman speed so I knew his career couldn't last long but those years he did have were Hall of Fame level years. And there really hasn't been anyone else like him that I can remember.
He wont be forgotten by Titans fans!
That will never get old. He’s got get away from the cops speed! 😂
Him and Vince Young was DEADLY‼️
As a runner.... VY was different and those two together were scary. If only he had the other part of his game working too. Could've made people respect the pass and take people out of the box. Its scary to think how many more yards CJ could've got against honest boxes.
Yes they were! And then you add in white for the short yardage and they were borderline unstoppable. Fisher fucked that whole operation up though
1 playoff appearance in 6 yrs ... super deadly !!!
Because the team as a whole wasn't great that doesn't mean Chris Johnson wasn't deadly. and a Defensive coach having to gameplan for them both back there... Come on now.
Remigio Kennedy right mfs forget the defense don’t they lol dem boys put up points
Why is this whole video 1.5X speed!?!?! Oh wait.... its Chris Johnson
CJ2K I miss this guy. Too bad we had him during our dark Years..
Ugh.... I'm also a Longhorn fan so it was hard to watch VY play like that... And then Locker.... And our journeyman qb years... Hard times.
@@remigiokennedy8259 I still loved Vince and Jake tho
Oh trust me. I still love VY. It was just hard to see them try to make him something he wasn't. I think VY was just.... About 10 years too early. Ahead of his time, if you will. He could be a difference maker in the spread and mobile QB offenses that are taking over right now.
It’s still dark days for Tennessee 😂

So elusive change of direction was on another level patience was crazy
Can you imagine Chris Johnson and Derrick Henry in the back field together!?!?
Ikr
In my top 5 all time fav players CJ2K
Agreed. I love watching those speed demon type players and Chris is one of the best. Especially watching him play for my favorite team.... Spoiled.
Chris Johnson has such a rare ability to decide when to turn north-south…and GO! Tremendously gifted running back. The acceleration and top end speed is electric!
One thing a lot of people never realized about him was how special he was at knowing how to absorb tackles... He always kept his feet elevated and never took major hits. He was truly light on his feet! Another thing was how good at catching he was but couldn't showcase it as much having terrible QB's in Tennessee for most of his career. Was a real shame too because that team could've went all the way his rookie season if there was a better QB and they weren't running him constantly. That was the last game i attended was the Playoff game against the Ravens where Ray Lewis purposely injured him in a pile. He was on fire that game up until that dirty ass team had to twist his leg and almost break it to win.
Its true. Not a lot of clean shots. Mostly people are diving and hoping they could trip him up. And yes.... The Ravens weren't doing ANYTHING to stop him that playoff game.
So as a born and raised Redskins fan growing up watching Darrell Green who was the fastest man in the nfl for a long time.... Chris Johnson is the fastest man in shoulder pads I've ever seen in my life... we over use this phrase... but it is UNREAL the speed he has.... possibly the most underrated nfl player ever
He could straight up fly. I'd love to watch prime CJ compete in that 40 yard dash tourney.
Deion Sanders much??, check out his high lights
Darrell Green was still a #1 Corner & still running 4.2 in the NFL when he was 40 yrs old playing football & i dont know any RB in the league thats atleast 35 yrs of age running a 4.2. Sorry Chris'.. The fastiest ever for the longiest tenure in the NFL was Darrell Green 4.2 💯
@@kinglion8621 chris johnson 4.24....primetime 4.27
Aye guys don't forget Bo Jackson also could fly and he was twice Chris's size.
Man, I wouldn’t be against him being in The HOF.
We can dream.
They gone snub him
He will get there, no saying when although
definite hall of famer in my book
3 pro bowls, 6 1000 yard seasons, 1 2000 yard season, 9651 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns. I think 60/40 he gets in.
“Anytime it’s a foot race between you and him, you lose” well said 😂😂
He’s the reason I’m a titans fan. First game I went to was tenn vs buf in 2011. I still have the Chris Johnson jersey I bought that day on my wall
People always talk about his speed, but CJ2K was soooo good at taking a 12 inch gap and slipping through it at light speed. His jump cut was legendary.
Facts he might be the best ever when it comes to change of direction ability
His vision was sick as fucc.... Top 10 all time
Tennessee native. Titans’ lifetime fan! I truly believe that Chris Johnson was/is the greatest player in Titan’s franchise history!!!! hope he makes The Hall... he deserves to be remembered!!
A little strong for my blood. But I'm glad you think that highly of him.
other than Steve McNair or Bruce Matthews (who’s career began as an Oiler)... i don’t think it’s even close!! in all my years of football fandom, i can’t think of 10 players that possessed the type of speed that Johnson had.
note that Earl Campbell is excluded. he was an Oiler, not a Titan.
really, really great video by the way! I intend to share it. 👍 thanks!
Walter Simpson ahhh. Ok ok. I see the angle you were trying to get at. And... You know what. When you put it that way, it's not nearly as crazy. 😂 I got you. 👍
I still remember watching him play every year at ECU . I wish we had this guy back . 😆
Love watching Chris Johnson and derick Henry once they get to the sideline it’s hard to get them but love the highlights TITANUP

You continued those amazing feats for years to come. Congratulations Chris you were amazing to watch you are one of the greats. thank you.
DMC was fun to watch at Arkansas. I was super excited to watch him in the pro's. Kind of sucked watching him struggle.
The most impressive thing about him is that he stayed healthy. How many fast guys were able to stay healthy and produce at an elite level. Little to none. That's what makes him amazing
His speed was bar none 🔥🔥🔥 Definitely one of my favorite players during his prime & I'm an Eagles fan!
Straight line speed insane lateral agility and speed and insane game IQ and the ability to read blocks this man was destined for a great career

He is one of the most durable Running backs in NFL history How many seasons has he ever set out I can't even remember any games that he missed If he did it didn't have anything to do with Injuries. 3 things that a great Running back should have speed, strength, and durability

Incredibly well done video. I remember watching almost every one of these plays when they happened live on tv. Titan fan, and CJ2k is right up there with McNair for me. Thanks for taking the time to make this and showing the world we truly had a once in a lifetime type of player. He was an amazing player, and just a really respectful, nice guy on and off the field. Every game we played while we had CJ, there was always a chance he would carry the team to victory by himself. Henry is the first rb we have had since CJ that gives me a bit of that same feeling.
