That 400R is just insane. This is the collection of someone who isn’t just rich, but knows the right people to be able to have the chance to buy these cars. That Mazda 787 too… I’m actually wondering if Polylphony used this guy’s cars when making GT.
767. The Le Mans wining model 787 came two years later.
At 03:22, I believe that was the 787. It’s covered up, so I’m not entirely sure, but I’m pretty sure that one was different from the 767 he covers in the video. Either way, it’s pretty badass.

@@downsouth420 definitely the 767. The 787 has a large intake on the side, which this one doesnt have. Also, number 203 was a 767.
By far the greatest collection I've ever saw. Even got emotional at some points. Never thought I'd be so excited to see a 787b shell.

I'd take this over Jay's and that's not something anyone with any knowledge would say lightly. But then again the 2000gt is my all time favorite car period so maybe I'm biased
Jay has 11 gigantic purpose built warehouses full of cars. It’s just on a whole other level.
Best Japanese car collection for sure! Probably the other collection I can think of is Zak Brown’s race car collection, but this has some private road cars mixed in.

insane collection. Just one section or room in that collection is probably like 100 million easily. But the quality and attention to detail and how they're being taken care of, restored, and used? Incredible. Literally a gran turismo collection
We can't even imagine owning such a collection, just seeing such a collection would be a dream come true.
This dude is doing it RIGHT. His hobby is set up like a business but its legit just for him. Im sure his other businesses feed this. They have to. I finally got my business to buy me my first trophy a 22 LC500 and i get to pay it off in full next month. Thats nothing compared to this but the concept is the same. Goals.
I love the videography. Some of the shots definitely give that “model car” feel. Plus, that white board with the layout of where all the cars are is maybe the most Japanese thing ever.

Great video. A minor correction: The Bond film Toyota 2000 GT was driven only by the character Aki, played by Japanese actress Akiko Wakabayashi. Connery was too tall to even fit behind the wheel, and the script called for Aki to rescue Bond and make the complete getaway - maybe the most active female character in any of the early Connery 007 films. She's retired, and still lives in Japan. Arguably if the 2000 GT is a first JDM car, Akiko is the original JDM driver.
Aki was behind the wheel but she didn't know how to drive... so the 2000 GT was actually towed, when she was behind the wheel.
Is this the same chassis as the one the irish group Juicebox found a year or so ago? It was also in Japan under private ownership but I believe it was a different person and collection.
Wasn't there two that were modified (roof cut off for Connery to fit) ?

What was not mentioned were all the Mercedes 16V’s, Evo1’s and 2’s among other MERCs that were in the building. Absolutely mind blowing.

What was not mentioned vastly outnumbers what was mentioned. A shame really... is the Ferrari 330 P3/P4 sitting next to the DTM Merc, real? replica? Would have loved to know.
Mr Moroi is a certified madlad. I love that he actually drives the schuppan 962. Plus because of his business he can make all the metal parts he needs to keep it going, which is doubly amazing.

That is just mind blowing, he is like the JDM Jay Leno!!! How would you even begin to try and get your head around looking after so many cars, finding parts (Very rare parts at that), my head would explode just at the thought of it all. Fair play to the owner for letting the lads in and filming it, was a true privilege to see and I'm sure it left a pretty huge impression on them as well.

That Toyota 2000GT convertible is something special because the director requested a convertible but all of the cars built were hardtops so that’s a one off.
Actually there were two of them. And they needed them mainly because Sean Connery was too tall for the coupes.
What else can you say, but, "WOW!" I love to see people who restore and care for these cars so they'll be around in the future.

Sorry to be that guy, but im pretty sure that 944 is actually a 924 Carerra RS. One of my favorite cars ever so Im a bit biased. I believe the 944 race cars had box flares and the offset scoop is on the opposite side.

That Ford GT is absolutely unbelieveable. Stunning. Jaw Dropping. Awe inspiring. An incredible collection, and great to see the care that is ongoing for everything here. A great care taker of history, and amazing that they still get out and get to stretch their legs every now and then.

Such a fantastic car collection and so refreshing to see these beautiful cars instead of muscle cars everyone has. These are ultra rare cars that you won't see in 90% of car collections in the US. Many of these cars are spread out in Europe and Asia. To have them all in one collection is incredible to see. Thanks to the owner for allowing cameras in to show off his awesome collection!

What I love about this (type) of car collection is that it is not meant to be looked at (as unfortunately there are too many in the world), this is a collection of someone who loves the car world.
I forgot: this is obviously a kind of adult game room (rich adults, I hardly dare to think about the cost of maintaining such a facility); it would be great to be very rich just for that, to have the opportunity to do/have what you really love.
Having 11 2000GTs and a Mk3 Supra sounds like he would be the man who has connections to spare parts for the Mk3 that I can never get my hands on ^^

Well done lads, this car collection is humbling, I use to see the 944 GTR in the 80's at race events, we all wanted one ,just could never afford it, plus they were some of the rarest cars, BMW's and Audi's of that era were 10 a penny, not the 944 GTR, you guys produce awesome jaw dropping videos 👍
