(WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. The guy in the end has me crying my eyes out. I've been raising my daughter for 19 years now. Her mother divorced me and ran away with another man when my baby was 2. Left me with a house all by myself. The courts gave me a hard time so I kept fighting for joint custody. My daughter's 19 now, in college and we have an amazing relationship.
The last guy was a rare sighting of a man, it is rare these days. My mom left when I was ten and my dad raised all four of us the best he could.

It's funny how they were struggling to get the last guy's attention (he's got 3 kids and helping them look around so I'm not that surprised) and then as soon as he finally hears their situation, he doesn't even hesitate to just whip out his credit card. I'm Sure they would, also I remember a Similar Incident happened just like this, I was at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell Restaurant with a friend of mine named Sarah, We was sitting at a table, and was eating our lunch, I was having the chicken leg and thigh combo, Sarah was having a Burrito meal, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a Mom with 6 children, I noticed that The mom and five of the children were having lunch, except for one, He was sad, they were sitting just a few feet away from us, He was watching his mom, his older brothers and sisters eating lunch, Sarah told me not to get involved, but I ignored her, I got up from the table, walked over to the front, and I ordered some food for the boy, about an hour later I carried the food over to the boy, He looked up at me with a big smile on his face, I asked him if he was hungry and he nodded his head, I gave him the food, The Mom looked at me with a shocked look on her face, I got on to the mom like a rattlesnake ready to strike, I told her how dare she forgot her own son, I was saying some crude words at her, She apologized to her son, I went back to my table, I told Sarah that It was right of me to get involved and help someone in need, Until Sarah understood, She got up from the table, walked over to the mom, and gave the mom some money for the food that I gave the little boy.

This is a tricky one for a few reasons, one being it’s a toy it’s not food so it’s not technically an essential or a nesesity, the mother had like $43 so she could have said to the son you can pick any toy up to this value, it’s different someone helping to pay for a meal or diapers, a Lego set is a bit different and I can see why the first 2 people didn’t say anything.

I feel like a lot of people are saying this but it's not really entirely fair. There was no real natural, organic way as actors for them to portray what they needed to portray to pull off this stunt. Normal people don't just stand in a store having a really audible, out loud conversation about their money woes. They're being asked to do that in a way that doesn't seem conspicuous, but at the same time DOES seem conspicuous because they are supposed to make sure people notice. It's a weird thing to be asked to do and in this case I don't feel like there was a win situation because it would have seemed suspicious to most. I don't know about you but in leaner times in my life when I didn't have enough money at the register, I tried to wrap that situation up discreetly and get out of there ASAP to avoid embarrassment.

@mirovic yeah looks like a well built person who achieved what he wanted in life. He's enjoying the day, not rushing and making sure his family is in a good state of mind. Thrive to be such a character.
Also, if it WAS a scam it's very possible the family needs help anyway since the resolve to those type of actions
