A good law would be the one where You're not allowed to drive a black car on a Sunday in Denver, Colorado.
If you believe judge or jury has a bias or has been paid off, is there anything you can do about it?
If I'm seeing a co worker romantically and there is no policy against it but my boss gets to involved in the relationship between me and my co worker is that considered sexual harassment?
@karinavargas1657 no, not really If he enters the relation ship, he just disturbes it
@Sonic Flipper no I mean she asks too many questions and want to know everything and him and I are both uncomfortable when she asks those questions

Yeah, 😁 he was about to tell on himself about that question... 😊
Ive a follow up question about private investigators. Awhile back, there was a video of a PI detained by police (not sure if charged), because the woman he was investigating noticed him, and wanted to report him for harassment and stalking. Are PI's subject to those criminal charges while they are investigating? Or do they get some sort of pass since it is their business?
That’s an interesting question. I looked it up and the source I read said that states have strict scenarios which would allow the Pi’s behavior to fall under due diligence for their profession. It’s kind of fuzzy, though. And might be difficult to prove in a court of law. However, if the person who hired the PI was a danger to the victim (the example I read said that the person who hired the PI had assaulted the victim), then the PI is an extension of the client and can be arrested for harassment and stalking.
Yes they are like how you can sue private investigators
Likely the largest factor would be if the person had already filed for harassment or stalking against them. They could argue in court they are doing the process of their job (as long as they are not breaking laws, trespassing or such) but that's a big depends. Would vary wildly by state as well
Epic, can we sue people for only watching your shorts videos and missing out these?
Hmmm 🤔 not a bad idea 😂
@bigoldpp9542 ignorance to the law is not an excuse for breaking the law 😤
We need to know what happened on that cruise ship
Moppet Mike is invoking the Fifth!
Loving this new format of videos, FRESH and interesting, loving it 💯
To answer the creepy question (kind of): it varies in every state, ranging from perfectly legal to Class A felony. I know in Oregon it's a felony, but i don't know about the rest of the states. I am not going to research any further on this, if any of you are THAT CURIOUS for any reason, do your own additional research.
I think it should be legal in Ohio
@@savascool3416People still do those jokes?
It's illegal everywhere. It is animal abuse. There is no law specifically against animal sexual abuse because it is too obscure (at least in most jurisdictions), but it is considered animal abuse everywhere. There is no justification.
@@nnillat makes more sense. still in some states that don’t have laws against animal sexual abuse, a really good lawyer could get the accused off scot-free…
@@ianlodge3318 Then again, forcing an animal to do something it doesn't want to (let's be real, I don't think that a dog even "knows" what a "relationship" is, therefore they cannot waive it) IS animal abuse because you are possibly harming the animal.
I’m 99% sure the editor is just trying to use every single effect in the free trial of their editing software
Haha
KZhead has done a TERRIBLE job with this encoding. Wow. Hope they do a re-pass later because this is some 360p crap disguised as 1080p. Mike deserves better.
When you first upload a video to KZhead, it uploads in bad quality. Sometimes it doesn't upload to the best quality until the next day even. It sucks. Some content creators won't even let the video be made public until the next day because of it.
what are you seeing on your end? It says HD is downloaded
@@LawByMike Resolution is HD, yes, but the bitrate is crap. It's something we've seen a lot with more popular channels. Breakout movie trailers probably get hit the worst. What youtube does is restrict the bitrate on a video it fears will be popular during its viral period. Couple days later, or when the video doesn't go viral, they correct it and insert a replacement with a proper bitrate. As to your question, What i notice is the compression artifacts. At one point in the video your face looked like it was made of about 6 different shades of makeup. Its something a lot of people don't notice, but I work a bit with video compression, and I notice artifacts like that.
I remember a woman on facebook live getting freaky with her dog. Apparently in my country for some dumb reason its legal as long as the animal doesn't get penitrated☠
Hey Mike DaLawyer doesn't Miranda Rights only have to be read prior to custodial interrogation??
I hope people start doing the right things again and trying to make the world a better place , that sure would take a heavy load off of sifting through all the people wanting to be lazy or not wanting to do their jobs and do it well at that instead of try and cheat the system , it hurts all of us when more and more people suck
Best law teacher ever!!
Love mike and his videos!
As someone who enjoys auditing videos, what is a limited public forum exactly? Also, does a judge's ability to dictate restrictions on filming stay inside the courtroom, or does it extend to the hallway outside? The entire courthouse?
Yes
Amazing content ❤
Thank you for the support!
This is a great video, kids this what the quote “not all hero’s wear capes” in good example looks like.
Hello Law By Mike! I do have a question regarding the Miranda Rights, and it is as follows; if a person who is detained makes it clear that they know the Miranda Rights even though an officer didn't read the rights to the person, can their statements still be used against them in a criminal trial?
depends on how corrupt the officials are; most likely no, since they make a big deal out of making sure the person is READ their miranda rights, regardless of what they know or don't know.
2:14 Usually? 2:57 Agreed. 4:10 Agreed.

Can you sue someone for something that happened more than a year ago
Yes, as long it's not over 2 years ago
Hey ? is it legal to sue people which led you to start doing drugs and tobacco products or the people who gave the drugs to you (drug dealer) and is there any way to make that person spit out money for us (compensation for thier wrong doings?).. rn someone I know is let into this problem and it was the one person who she was in a relationship with .... I really care about that person , soo please help 😥
You can't seem to sue anyone anymore. I had a bicycle that flipped when you put on the brakes, I broke my wrist and I couldn't find a lawyer. Now it's too late it's been over a year. But other people are still being injured on bicycles because they flip when you put on the brakes. Nobody talks about it, because there's some kind of conspiracy that blames the rider. You're not supposed to put on the front brakes. But what they don't tell you is, when a truck pulls out in front of you, you automatically put on the brakes out of fear of hitting the truck. HUD sold me a toxic mold house only available to first time buyers. They only want ignorant people to buy the houses, so they don't discover the mold. I couldn't find a lawyer to sue the city that inspected it for my safety charge me a hundred fifty bucks but they didn't discover the mold. They said I could have hired my own inspector and not trusted their licensed inspectors that charge me a hundred fifty bucks to inspect it for my safety. This was back in 1993 when gold was $200 an ounce so $150 dollars was a lot of money. But I'm going to put my trust in God and ask to have the entire United States incinerated. Because scientists told them if they make a car go faster than 10 mph people would be injured and killed. They made them go faster anyways because they trusted in lawyers to make sure they couldn't be sued for making cars that go unsafe speed limits. The only reason why they made them go faster was to sell people car insurance as people will not buy car insurance if they are not afraid to die. They offered me 250 million dollars to keep my mouth shut, but I can't do it.
That was a WILD ride. I want some of whatever your having my guy
@@AzureRadio you have been drinking the fluoridated water for years dude you can't get much higher

there is also a biig possibility of a mistrial becasue your miranda rightds were not read to you
If a judge provides no reason (or I guess jury) to their verdict, can you sue the judge/jury?
Nope. Juries cannot be punished for a "wrong" decision. However, a wrongful guilty verdict can be appealed, at least for a little while.
Yes you can
That’s me in the photo on the thumbnail!!

one of my landladies pulled a similar one but, since she warned us with 30 days in advance, too bad. I got screwed. lady luck was on my side though. I found a better place. (and better landlady) despite me not doing it either (don't have non human pets), I'm curious about the last one. is it legal to have sex with other animals? I assume it is, to avoid discrimination, but laws can be quite complex on crazy absurd things.
I'm curious as to why you think that not allowing people to f**k animals would be some kind of discrimination. [the guy I was replying to seems to have deleted his post. I think we all know why]
Must be in some way illegal. Animal cruelty? Public health? Surely a lawyer could find some grounds for prosecution?
@@loc4725 a good lawyer can always find some grounds for prosecution. that's their job. and laws are so open to interpretation that they are irrelevant.
Depends on state and cops/judge and jury. They would likely get you for animal abuse/cruelty. Some states have laws on the books for fucking specific aminals
@@loc4725but what if the animal enjoyed it?
5:35 That wouldn't be possible, and I don't mean legally, I mean biologically.

Wow
So…… is it illegal???
Can the police search your car if a 4th waiver is in the car with you and you are not a felon and don’t consent to a search?
In CA at least, yes.
Not by default. Depends on state. They can search THEM. Your vehicle is your private property and YOU have the 4th. Most they could do is rip them out of vehicle. Now, they may do that and then say they have probable cause to search you and vehicle as a result
As of writing this, the video hasn’t even started premiering yet.
I hope you can sue cops for not reading your Miranda right and I hope you can sue private investigators if not im taking this video with a grain of salt edit now that im watching taking this with a grain of salt this is cap you can sue police and private investigators
It’s Miranda rights🤦🏻♂️
@@Ethanf2318ty
What he said is true. Your grain of salt will not change the Supreme court's ruling. You CANNOT sue a officer who fails to state your Miranda rights.
If you are talking about suing officers in general and not for that reason then yes you can sue police officers.

@LawByMike You did report the CREEP that wanted to mess animals, RIGHT?
How do we know that they wanted to do it? For all we know the wanted to report someone else for doing it or was simply curious on what the law says about that
By the way, it is considered rape to have sexual intercourse with an animal since the animal cannot waive their consent to do so.

LOL, TOTALLY skipped the the intimate relations with animals... don't blame him on that one cause? Most people getting caught? Might not be illegal but it seriously questions your gears upstairs to the point that you might get sent to the 'fun' house and I don't mean jail but the 'other' place you can't leave (mental ward!). Because? That action falls well outside of social norms to the degree? Yeah, they CAN lock you up for it, goes double if you are caught doing it publicly. So my suggestion? Even if I'm technically wrong on this one? Don't even THINK about it because anyone and I do mean ANYONE catches onto to your fetish? That IS going to alienate 99.99% of the people you KNOW and a lot more you DON'T know. Social norms have a few unspoken norms you DON'T break and that? Definitely one of them.
Third amendment
If the cops were taught to raid the wrong house you can't sue. BUT, if they were NOT taught to do such a heinous, terrioristic act, you CAN SUE EACH COP INDIVIDUALLY ( personally) for acting of his own accord under the color of authority. ( DO it and watch them finger the boss)
