Tried putting an air horn on my feeder pole to scare the bear away. All it did was teach the bear not to mess with the bait jug anymore. It still kept coming back to the feeder but didn't mess with the bait jug on the air horn afterwards.

This is surprising the most effective bear deterrent I’ve ever seen
It didn’t honk as loud or as long as I’d hoped for but it was enough to prevent the bear from messing with it again. It kept coming to the feeder afterwards but it didn’t mess with the horn bait again or try to push the pole down, which was the result I hoped for.
@@timjchick Wow crazy.. Especially since bears are very adaptable creatures and often finds away around think like electric fences. This prevented the bear from trying it again without hurting it. I’d say that’s a success experiment!
@@huntercool2232 I remember watching another video where someone hung a motion activated Halloween clown on their trash can and it scared a bear away and prevented the bear from getting into the garbage. No bears were harmed in their video either. Lol

I like to use my Electric Leaf Blower... It Scares the Crap outta them with the sound & if close the blast of Air!
Really? I had a momma and two cubs walk within 10 yards of me and my buddy with backpack blowers on full throttle. We froze and she just stared at us for a minute and kept walking by with the little ones.

FAIL. The bear barely skipped a few yards away and didn't seem too terribly upset by it. The video cuts off right before the bear turned around and attacked and ate the cameraman.
The bear kept coming but it didn’t try to knock down my feeder pole to get to my feeder like it did to others in the area so it was actually a win.
