The Legacy Continues... with Khabib Nurmagomedov! The Eagle took some time out of his day to spend time with the Miftaah Scholars to talk about his lasting legacy as a UFC Champion, his life afterwards, and how his faith guides his actions. Our Miftaah Scholars asked him questions about the Islamic influence on his life and our brother Khabib left our audience inspired as a practical example of how to represent our faith in the public sphere. And we had the honor to have Shaykh Hamza Yusuf visit us and share some wisdom and advise as well as making the closing dua.

  • I've never seen a Muslim sports person being so influential like Khabib. People love his athletic ability but also his discipline. He has become so influential by sticking to his identity and not by placating Islam to appease the masses. Ins through him, Allah swt guide many more people to beautiful religion of Islam❤️👍

    • A fighter is at home in the MMA ring. His English is ok but its not his native tongue. Everyone is ready with a question and he not Mohammed Ali yet.I feel for him and appreciate listening to him. True gentleman as a mean fighter. I stay because I enjoy his company.his mannerism.

  • Profound opening comments by Khabib; he couldn't properly put it into words but he was pointing out the fact how nervous he was feeling, most likely to the huge responsibility of speaking on Deen. The entire setup was Islamic, mashAllah so he def. felt that energy!!

  • He still looks so confident even when he's nervous , his alpha man and leadership aura always looks sharp and strong even when he's nervous or joking , I know he is nervous when he touches his nose a lot ... he also was very nervous in his wedding day .
