Now more than ever in my life.
“You are one in a million, you are loved, you are different.” Brings tears to my eyes. Tom, thanks for caring about our kids.
That was the line that caught my attention. Same effect.
Caught me off guard. Teared up. Its not too late for the next generation.
Every song I listen to makes me love him even more. He's exactly what we need on so many levels. This song literally brought tears to me eyes and I don't even care if that's dumb. Im introducing him to my 12 year old daughter because he is what she and her friends need to be listening to.
Same here! I have 3 kids, my oldest is 7, but when he’s older he will be getting all the Tom McDonald albums. This is what kids need to listen to, not Cardi B or something

Apparently, my dad is different. He still doesn't like the genre even though I've shown him Tom MacDonald. This is weird because, for me, I wasn't into country until I found out by definition I live out in the country and I started to get into country and love it.
You're not alone on this. Tom speaks the truth, and some get their feelings hurt😂

Probably no one will see this but Dad has an amazing song comp called dear alcohol with a bunch of remixed bits and honestly it's got to be one of my favorite things right now to listen to while just keeping on
Finally, someone in the game who understands that the media influences the young ones. Thanks y'all, this made my day.

@@thoticcusprime9309 Yeah, but not as blatant this.

I don't think I've seen many people with as thick skin as this dude. There are people in his own comments, webpages dedicated to hate on him, but it seems like he doesn't even see those

This here is a beautiful soul. God bless you Tom for climbing out of the hole and getting this message out; may your lyrics live forever.
It's honestly a story of my life. I was listening to Snoop Dogg when I was a very young kid in 1993 and loved rap the entire time until I was 25. I listen to rap for probably 15 years and I know it influenced me in a bad way. I'm not saying I don't bear responsibility but definitely hearing lyrics about drugs and breaking the law didn't help

"Little boys see the way that women look in our videos And assume it's real life, project that image on little girls It's unrealistic, if you're young and you listen You are one in a million, you are loved, you are different" I have 4 daughters so this makes me kind of tear up a little bit
And it makes me tear up because as a young man I and my generation forget that even when we f*ck up we have people who still love us, like our parents, friends. Just sometimes I have been selfish and didn't appreciate love ❤
I got none and I have to backtrack every time I hear that part. I don’t know you. And I know you don’t know me. But your kids are more important to me than either of us are, to me. That’s the beauty of babies and little kids, especially. They have an innocence most adults have long forgotten. They have potential. Potential to not be what we are. Tupac nailed it in Ghetto Gospel. “Everyone’s ashamed of the youth cause the youth look strange.” Cause they haven’t been corrupted yet. He also said in that song “it ain’t about black or white cause we’re human”. You teach em that and they’ll be good people.

I honestly have to say, I was on the fence seeing Dax on this with Tom. With that being said, this is a awesome song and both Tim and Dax did a tremendous job. I like how Dax has grown and is now bucking the curve. To become more than just another independent artist with no substance. He is speaking his mind and becoming a better person.as I see it. Definitely going to listen to this again and again good job Tom Dax and Nova
People still hate on dax when they haven't listened to his new tracks
Tom*
Yep everyone deserves a second chance to grow
You clearly haven’t listened to dax in awhile then ://
@@DG-jj2zw admittedly I haven't never said he wasn't talented, just I love hearing his growth
No matter how many times I listen to this, it gives me chills. Tom and Dax you guys made a painfully true beautiful song 🙌
exactly!
We need to look out for one another
This shit is horrible
Nigel Smith this shit isn’t horrible this shit is real
ya I like the authenticity of their work... best match hope they collaborate making more stuff together
Yep. Tom is the best to happen to music in decades.
This is the definition of a true warrior. This artist changes everything for the better. Tom MacDonald needs to collaborate asap with Eminem.
I admire, respect and appreciate you - Tom.Thanks for creating quality music and content with a message.
i should be hearing this on top 10 countdowns
YES
top 10 trash songs?
@@coldfya6739 ey man, if you dont like his songs don' click on em simple.
The values you teach in your home/allow into your homes largely contributes to your child's development and success but if you actually took the time to listen the message of Tom and Dax's music as well you'll be surprised by the positivity. Don't always judge a book by its cover.
Tom, Dax, respect for you guys. Your music is like fresh air for the RAP scene. We need this change, specially young kids. You are the inspiration for a entire generation. God bless You guys❤️🙏
“I’m not perfect, but I’ll change” ~ I felt that🔥
Shut the fuck up

Ahahahahahj
Lucas Larsen oh wow we are just fucking terrified
Lucas Larsen 😂😂😂😂
He's a Saint in this chaotic Hip-Hop world!!
He touches everything at such a surface level. Nothing he says shows that he has any sense of nuance or understanding that, (ironically) the world isn't black and white. It makes me sad that people think that rap is just 6ix9ine and lil pump. If you want something with depth I suggest "to Pimp A Butterfly".
You guys. Thank you. I've got goose bumps. Listening to you both.
Don’t always agree with Tom but he spits truth. Love seeing him team with Dax who is one of my favorites. Dax is honest about having a light and dark side. Great message through the song
First time hearing Dax I think imma go listen to more of his songs. Fire song as always Tom. The messages you put out into the world will always be needed.
Imagine I'm. Also new here infact I acme to know Tom recently when he realised Coronavirus. And now can't get enough of him. Dax is so real too and this collab was all I needed
MAL listen to ‘Dear God’ by Dax.
Go listen to a new track by day he has changed
@@frankiethefrog1752 just came here to say Dear God by Dax is the truest shit I've ever heard in my life and you already mentioned it, I salute you.
@@frankiethefrog1752 is God black or white oh how do I speak to someone I've never seen with my two eyes? 💯💯💯
“I know I’m not perfect, but I’ll change” that hit hard
Chimane Rousseau really ... no really ! ?!
@@greendiesel6869 Yes, really, if you know Dax's come up then you know why we cheer for him to keep going through positive changes. He has mad talent, too.

Love the way MacDonald tends to warp soft rock and rap beats in a lot of his songs. 🔥
If you haven't caught it, he really went rock in "Ashes". It's damn good too. More people should know about it.
Dax you're a beast. Thank you for introducing me to Tom. You're heros, both of you. You both have my 100% support thank you guys seriously I owe you both my life
Tom and dax, 2 of the industries best and yet most underrated artists
@Nem Nem I can say with a strong sense of security that I prob listen to a wider variety than you think. I would wager that I have been to concerts of artists you've never even heard of , let alone listened to
Totally agree

FINALLY a rap song with a message, real hip hop is back😌🙏💯

@@ghostkiller427 how could i? i've been waiting for someone like Tom MacDonald to save the rap game ever since mumble rappers like Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert became popular
Are you like 9?

One major thing i like about Tom’s raps is that each song sound so different from each other. Keep it up bud!!!
So refreshing when someone actually speaks good solid truth
🤡clown
Respect lol
🤡
lewis upton this song sounds bad and all he’s doing is dissing trap music
"Rap is the voice of the new generation." If that's true, then we raised a generation of street thugs and criminals, and we should be ashamed of ourselves.
What you ever heard of someone being born in the hood? 😂 you blaming music for crime when crime is really the government fault if anything
