She is a fantastic dancer, has a brain that absorbs complex choreography quickly, and is hypnotically/stunningly...beautiful. Oh yea, and she is also very funny, good-hearted, and a humble person. And THAT is why we DM fans (and millions around the world) love her. She was born to be a star....just like Sia.

He'd come home drunk, or high, and he'd start beating me with a baseball bat, throw me down the stairs, hit me, punch me, burn my skin... I started cutting myself when I was 10. My brother killed himself when he found out what my dad was doing to me. I stopped eating. The cutting got worse.. People at school would make fun of me everyday. I've tried killing myself 3 times now. The part where Maddie falls back onto the bed as if she's jumping made me burst into tears because I really know what it's like. I don't want your sympathy or pity, I'm tired of seeing people getting bullied online for just trying to prove a point and then they get accused of being attention seekers

came here after binging 4 seasons of Dance Moms for the first time and I'm able to appreciate it so much more after watching her dancing improve over 4 years
This is so perfect. It's as if the only thing in her world that is completed is her dance and her feelings for the song. The American dream is so hard to reach that so many Americans cannot complete their homes with curtains, sheets for the bed, and etc. It's just a striving hardship daily trying to put food on the table. I understand this video, but so many people have never felt this way.

My emotions overflowed watching him dance
Okay, number one for all of the "parents" out there, Maddie (The girl) is a dancer. SHE IS WEARING A LEOTARD FOR GODS SAKE. The leotard is a nude color and does not cover up less than what you're kids would wear to the beach. All dancers normally wear a nude or pale color leotard. Number two, WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU EVEN CONSERNED ABOUT HER LEO? This girl is an amazing dancer and is very flexible and I don't see why the only thing you car about is her leotard. And for all if you that are saying that this is a "scary" or horrible dance, it is telling a story. Yes, it may be a little odd but it is beautiful in a way. And lastly for all of you saying that this is a horrible song, it is telling a story. It may not be the type of music you listen to but Sia has a very strong, beautiful voice.
