  • This is amazing that no one has vandalized this. In the US that wouldn't happen. The amount of respect is to be commended. This should be preserved as a historical site for people to see the pure elegance of the style. Be a shame to see everything sold off and the place emptied.

    • @Wally#01 You must live in Europe. You have no idea of the complete lack of morality in the US when it comes to vacant places. Very snobby comment. Should be appreciative of the compliment. In the US if its 20 years old it gets demolished.

  • Scattered throughout the countryside of France you will find abandoned mansions, abandoned and many left untouched and unloved. Only a handful go up for sale each year, and many from around the world snap them up for a vacation home. Truthfully, France has some of the most beautiful mansions in the world with unique architecture, and in the right hands these mansions can be restored to their original state.

Love it✔️ I have to be honest though… after every video I think the same thing… DANG I wish that was me exploring these amazing places! I wish there was a “buddy” program that they’d allow you to join them just once. I never knew in my younger years such a thing existed. Now I’m old😕. I’m in the US🤨. Zero opportunity to do this. • This is a wonderful structure with lovely details of architecture and design. The niches are a wonderful way to display items. The marble fireplaces are so fine! The furnishings are incredibly beautiful pieces of craftsmanship, but the antiques are what makes it so impressive! Incredible pieces of art! Amazingly extravagant mirrors, lovely porcelain figurines, Hummels, marble urns, fantastic clocks, paintings, vases- small and huge, so many impressive candleabra and chandeliers, excellent pianos! These items were the collection of a lifetime of taste and discernment, for every piece is truly a valuable antique! The people who owned this home were very well-educated, well-travelled, interesting people who had an appreciation of fine and beautiful things! What a wonderful time I had just looking at it all!

  • Hello, NIce videos and I like your respect for others' belongings. I'm from the US and work selling antiques and vintage jewelry. I have some names for you for your adventures. The wooden and carved closets are called Armoires. The treasure chest is a steamer trunk. The pipe is a Native American Peace Pipe. The desk "Flatteners" are actually called blotters, usually made of wood and leather with an absorbent bottom to dab up excess ink. The desks with drop-down tables and cabinetry are called Secretaries. The Asian "Rackets" are Asian fans, to fan yourself in the heat. Hope that helps.
