Never lay tile like this or they will crack. He is trapping the air underneath the tile so the tile will have very little surface coverage and will not stick properly.
You are absolutely right. When I was laying tiles for the first, I laid some of the tiles the same way and they were the ones which cracked. You can also test by tapping on the tiles...if they give out a hollow sound, it's guaranteed that tile will crack at some point.

Si quieres una chapuza llama a ese instalador💀💀💀 -Se instala por tramos para tener un mejor control de la mezcla. -NUNCA se pisa un suelo recién instalado pues pierde el nivel. -Su mezcla quedó con huecos de aire lo que hará que con el tiempo y la presión se quiebren todas las baldosas,hay que utilizar separadores del tamaño que quieras la borada y utilizar la técnica del doble encolado, mezcla en el suelo y mezcla en la baldosa para impedir las bolsas de aire. Trabajo muy chapucero…

Soo many issues! 1 never lay out all your mortar as it skins and won't stick to the tile. 2 never spread your mortar in arches as the groove is for more than just setting depth it also allows excess air out from under the tile when you set it. The curved lines end in dead ends that trap air and leave poor bonding. 3 no spacers or even a string line. 4 setting tile directly to cement isnt a good idea even with the proper mortar when the concrete cracks over time the cracks can telegraph right up through the tile. 5 walking on fresh set tile is a good way to ensure poor edge alignment. The only positive I can give him as an installer is it didn't take him long to screw it up so at least it was cheap.

El material colocado no se pisa, es mejor hacer doble encolado, hay que usar niveladores, dejar una pequeña separación entre piezas y dejar juntas de dilatación con las paredes y la cola rayarla en la misma dirección.

@@yurif0331 passou a argamassa somente no contra piso, tem que passar na ceramica e em sentido contrário pra preencher toda a peça . Do jeito que ra fazendo vai ficar pobtos na peça sem argamassa e com o tempo vai soltar tudo ou a parte sem massa pode quebrar
@@yurif0331 principalmente esticou muitos metros de massa pra depois acertar as peças, certamente a massa sofreu perda de líquidos por evaporação e por absorção pelo solo, e quando ele foi colocar as últimas peças a massa deveria está muito seca o que impede que a peça se cole totalmente. O ideal é esticar a massa pra uma peça, hidratar a peça a ser assentada, fazer uma dupla camada de massa, ou seja passar massa na face contraria da pedra e em sentido oposto das raias que estão no chão, isso aumenta a área de contato, e o poder de absorção da peça, além de que facilita na hora de ajustar o alinhamento e nivelamento da peça e expulsão de quaisquer bolsa de ar que possa ficar entre a peça a massa e o solo. Da muito mais trabalho, demoraria 3xmais pra fazer, mas duraria pra 100 anos sem que nenhuma peça quebrasse com o trânsito normal de pessoas ou objetos. Além de que nunca na vida uma peça se soltaria. Outra coisa, não se assenta as peças no sentido de entrada, sim no sentido de saída, de forma wue vc não tenha que caminhar sobre o piso recém assentado, caminhar no piso recém acertado fode com alinhamento, nivelamento e se tiver alguma bolsa de ar o piso trinca, e só pisar com o peso do corpo e ele quebra na hora. E parceiro trincar uma peça já assentada entre outra, da um trabalho da porra pra tirar, limpar o local e recolocar, se tá loko. Desculpa o textao mas não sabia como explicar de forma mais simplificada.

That's not the only problem here. I've never ever seen anyone even spread even a small fraction of that thinset. A real tile guy is only going to spread enough thinset for about 10 minutes working time, after that you start to seriously lose bond.

As you are standing won't it be sharpened at the edges before it gets dry ?
It happened to mine and I was told we could walk on it in 6 hours… we should not have walked on it for at least 24 hours. The edges raised and we cut our feet on the tile, now we all have to wear flip flops or slippers in the house 👀🫠. I’m not sure with the time lapse how “long” until he walks on the tile but that was my “short” version answer. Hope that helps.

That floor has a higher tendency to fail. The circular comb doesnt allow air to ewcape and tht pressure will restrict the tiles from adhering properly. Plus backbuttering the tiles helps with a stronger adhesion.
yes, but the air is needed, not to press out too much of the glue when walking on the tiles, hahaha. Also saves on the need to grout the tiles
