The way Luke acts here is beautiful, it's calm, collected but still has a little bit of quippiness like his father before him. I do wish we got to see more of Luke and Ahsoka but knowing they have probably sat down and talked about Anakin, R2, Obi-wan and Yoda is just so surreal. And some people are saying Luke should be all knowing and shit when this is his first student! And he is still trying to form the way that he will teach the new generation of Jedi, hence the test for Grogu, less for Grogu and more for the rest of Luke's mentoring years.
At least I hope we will see them talk in ahsoka series
I just hope that the Luke we see in the sequels Is truly justified because I don't understand why Luke would have thoughts of killing Ben Solo.

@@OGTwist the problem is they can't make Ben to be too much of a villain because of his connection to Rey, but you need him to be more of a villain to justify Luke's outburst. Things would be easier if they'd actually treated the original films with a bit more respect, but that's just like, my opinion man.

I love the surprise when Ahsoka should up. It is a dream come true for Star Wars fans to see Ahsoka meets Luke face to face, like auntie meets nephew.

The Ahsoka reveal was bigger than Luke's in this episode and it was incredible.
It makes me so happy to see everyone so excited to see Ashoka just as much as they were to see Luke. We are living in a great time my rebel friends.

It is the implications it holds. Somewhere unseen, Ahsoka and Luke talked about life, Anakin, the Clone Wars, Vader's return to the Light - everything. Hell, maybe even a ghost visit from Anakin.

I was 7 years old when my mom took me to the theater to see Star Wars in 1977. I have loved Luke, Leia, and Han ever since. Luke's cameo in Mandalorian and now Boba Fett are, without a doubt, the best thing to happen to fans since 1983. One of the greatest hero's of ALL time and we know nothing about him during the height of his power, we only see him as Padawan and as a bitter old man. I want more of Luke at this point in his life.

The number of times people were just happy to see Luke again just goes to tell you how endearing his character has become to generations of fans.
I think people really understand how beautiful this is. My parents witnessed young Luke when Star Wars came out. Now I get to witness him just the SAME Bc technology has gotten better! This CGI is wild!

Seeing Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Ahsoka Tano, and Grogu again really did put a smile on my face, especially since Luke looks so much better in this episode than how he appeared in the Season 2 finale of "The Mandalorian". Also, Ahsoka Tano's return in this episode was an unexpected yet welcomed surprise.
As a lifelong fan since the original trilogy, it brings my heart so much joy to see how much love everyone gives R2-D2. Anytime R2 makes an appearance, people lose their minds. Thank you, George for your brilliant mind...👌
I sit here, watching this, with tears in my eyes watching other grown men (and women) with tears in their eyes when they glimpse Luke again in this episode. It makes me think deeply on what it is about Star Wars, and in particular Luke, that is capable of causing us to emote so strongly. I note that, like me, many of these reactors are late 30's or early 40's so perhaps it is the strong callback to a time in our lives when we were free of the adult commitments, and full of the freedoms or apparent freedoms of our youth. Or perhaps there's something about Luke that resonates with us, that reminds of us everyone's ability to be great, to come from nothing and become amazing. Regardless, I am so eternally grateful to be able to share this epic experience with all you Star Wars fans. Peace.
I have seen these scenes dozens of times, this episode dozens of times, and I still can’t stop smiling at all the people that showed up.
Mark Hamill CGI was so good, better than the first time in The Mandalorian.
This is my endgame goal, to end up in one of these compilations someday, LOL. Seriously, though, the only thing cooler than seeing how good Luke looked (so much better than in Mandalorian) was seeing him with Ahsoka. I never thought we'd be treated to that.
I was so overwhelmed with happiness by the time this episode ended. So many amazing cameos and scenes. This episode had something for all ages. I freaked out when Ahsoka showed up. She was the most unexpected face for me. Though I squealed with delight at Grogu too. And seeing Luke being at his prime of course. I hope we see Grogu choose next episode.

There is something in Luke Skywalker, I don't know what it is but it's seeing him and every man between 35 and 55 years old starts crying with happiness
I feel their joy. star wars fans have had to wait so so long for anything resembling a meaningful and powerful storyline that followed Return of the Jedi. instead we got 6 different other story lines. this is just pure satisfaction. that's why the feelings are so deep here

I loved watching the reactions. I was waiting impatiently to see how the general public would react to this and it did not disappoint :) With that being said, I was part of the team that recreated Luke for this episode and seeing @Shamook being credited for something he wasn't part of at all, hurts a team of very talented people who ACTUALLY made this work for the fans. Shamook should come clear about this, as his name is being cited EVERYWHERE when it comes to this episode, which is quite unfair. I am not at ILM anymore, so I don't need to be too political about it. I am speaking as an artist who sees someone else being credited everywhere, instead of the people who deserve the credit (especially Peter Demarest). Hopefully a making of featurette will come out soon clarifying who and how this was done. To be clear, it's nobody's fault to think what they think, because it was something someone started without ever verifying the information at all, and everyone else started repeating it over and over again. I am pretty sure great things will come out of Shamook's team eventually, because he is indeed a talented guy, but not this time, not on this episode...

My parents introducing me to Luke was I was little got me hooked on star wars. I was 8 when clone wars started and basically grew up with Ahsoka. Seeing them together got me in my feels for real

The tagline of this entire, singular episode was basically: "Let's just give Star Wars fans A BUFFET OF NOSTALGIA!!" lol Seriously, they damn near went overboard with all of the faces that fans love appearing in the same episode, but I'm not complaining. This simply can't become a regular thing, or it will definitely lose its' impact over time.

When I watched the episode I had to keep pausing it because I was freaking out so much. 😆 I love watching everyone get progressively more excited and shocked as the episode goes on.
First,we get to see Luke Skywalker,Ashoka and R2-D2 in Mandalorian,now we get to see them again in The Book of Bobba. Looks like Star Wars is getting treated well.

Man, I was in awe about this series, i loved everything the put so much effort to make us true fans enjoy. i Know it has flaws, but they did so much to adjust boba into a good guy with a past, they put effort in bringing things avery fan always wanted to see, like a Rancor destroying a city, more about the sand people behind the "they're just barbarians", the insides of the Sarlac, luke and Ahsoka united, an N1, a ship being rebuild in details... no many things. but so many people simply dont bother to watch and more people than it should allowed by law thinks the series are garbage just because of a 2 seconds secene in wich a guy does a lame spinn. Almost none of my friends watched the series because the name bobba fett is in it, and the one I convinced to wtach just said to me, and I quote: "found it borring and bad written". people were expecting that boba fett would apeear like kinda second Vader, all wounded and melted, kicking asses and exploding heads everywere for no reason other than "he is a bad boy"
