I think its kinda normal for a boyfriend to be jealous especially Peter knew about the whole love letter thing. I was actually pissed at Gen for trying to make LJ jealous. Gen broke up with Peter because she was going after a college guy so it is so obvious he doesnt want the same shit happens to his current relationship with Lara Jean. In the first movie, Peter told Lara Jean about his father left his mother and got a new life with another woman. So i dont blame Peter for being insecure and rude in this scene. Even in the second movie, Gen said Peter is crazy about Lara Jean.
I don't think it was acceptable tho. Yes, feeling jealousy is normal in a relationship but it's no excuse at all to be rude to someone, especially since that "stutter" thing was something that John was probably so insecure about back then.
Doesn’t mean he has to go after the speech impediment, a disability. Also, his subtle but super controlling behaviour got me so pissed.
