The reason for this is literally because humble people have already reach their goal, reached a contentful point, or have been disciplined and experienced enough that they are close to the end of their eventful/tough part of their life. Simple on the other hand is like wine. He get's better over time. You may hate at first, but after while you begin to admire him. Plus, how are you going to notice a humble person without them announcing themselves. The few that do have popularity already roared pretty loud at the beginning of their careers.
