  • Grief is the price we pay for love. The deeper we love the stronger we grieve. I grieved my husband when he passed after only three years of marriage I watched mum grieve for my father after 43 years of marriage. Now the Queen buried her husband today after 73 years of marriage. I find the service and readings so incredibly moving. I pray for her majesty . I pray that God wipes away her tears. I also pray that we all see our beloved dear ones again in the splendour of heaven Amen.

We must all remember she is 94 years old this is an incredible amount of grief the Queen is going through. This type of grief is very hard on elderly people doesn’t matter she is Queen Of England. Perhaps more meaningful for the Queen to not have to be burdened by having so many to smile at. Philip died just when he was meant to and will be remembered in perpetuity. He was a wise soul.

I hope that the royal family can set aside their differences and come together to support the Queen, and each other, through this difficult time. ❤

  • Poignant moment as the Queen paused and turned, just for a second, as she entered St George’s Chapel, but there was no one there. For mine, i still feel that The Prince Philip RIP deserved a more state presentation. With the pandemic restrictions and his premeditated epitaph 'Typically Philip - and all the better for it', all unfolding with a certain humble destiny. Heartening to see Dukes, Cambridge and Sussex chatting as they left the chapel. Quite a thoughtful decision by Charles and Co. to walk back together. Will the ship of the Royal family adapt favourably after such a strong anchor is now raised. End of an era.

    • Exactly. I think that it was what he would have chosen. The military part in respect to his naval background then the service with just his family. The Royal Family has very little privacy. We even expect them to share the saddest part of any relationship.
