Our beloved Queen has buried her father, mother, sister, daughter in law and now her husband......an extraordinary journey of life. A strong woman indeed!
Millions of British people are food insecure and countless are homeless but the world mourns the death of a so called Prince who lived a life of undeserved privileges and hunted tigers

So has my mum - though due to covid and travel restrictions we could not take part in the funeral of my (long divorced and remarried) father, a year ago.
Grief is the price we pay for love. The deeper we love the stronger we grieve. I grieved my husband when he passed after only three years of marriage I watched mum grieve for my father after 43 years of marriage. Now the Queen buried her husband today after 73 years of marriage. I find the service and readings so incredibly moving. I pray for her majesty . I pray that God wipes away her tears. I also pray that we all see our beloved dear ones again in the splendour of heaven Amen.

Incredible acoustics in the church to make 4 voices sound like a full choir. One can appreciate the pomp and ceremony when it's carried out with so much precision. Beautiful.
And unmiked! the accoustic must be flawless. They should be very proud
St. George's Chapel is a phenomenal place ❤
Nona - the singing was very beautiful, mostly English church music, today heard at its best. Brits are also excel at highly-organized Royal pageantry, as seen today throughout Prince Philip's funeral. I was deeply moved by the dignified farewell given to him.
If it can be said, it WAS a beautiful funeral.....

Prince Philip Funeral was planned out perfectly. The whole funeral was very impressive but also so very sad for the Queen. Beautiful camera and aerial shots on this very solemn occasion. Prince Philip planned this very well, from the range rover that would take his casket, to the music. I feel so much for the Queen, I pray she finds strength in all of this.
Watched it live this afternoon on BBC World News with my family and I agree - great camerawork and sound, and a very thoughtfully planned service: sombre, elegant, rich in echoes evoked of the man and his long life - and with a half understated kind of intimacy. We will never know what the original plans for a major public funeral at (likely) Westminster Abbey would have looked like, but this reworked version for a smaller congregation was perfectly carried through.
God bless the QUEEN. May her heart find peace and comfort in Knowing their love will never die

In a strange why his wish to not make a fuss was granted. IMO the service with just a few people present was more moving than when the cathedral is full. Yes indeed. No doubt she felt proud of him and of a long life together - but also lonely sometimes. It’s been the worst grieving time ever
A woman of Substance and an irreplaceable icon of our time. God Bless the Queen
May he rest in peace. And wishing her Majesty health and happiness for many years to come. God Bless her. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Poignant moment as the Queen paused and turned, just for a second, as she entered St George’s Chapel, but there was no one there. For mine, i still feel that The Prince Philip RIP deserved a more state presentation. With the pandemic restrictions and his premeditated epitaph 'Typically Philip - and all the better for it', all unfolding with a certain humble destiny. Heartening to see Dukes, Cambridge and Sussex chatting as they left the chapel. Quite a thoughtful decision by Charles and Co. to walk back together. Will the ship of the Royal family adapt favourably after such a strong anchor is now raised. End of an era.
The Last Post was heart wrenching. I think the limit of people attending was perfect. Only those who really loved him and cared. They had limited privacy but more than they would have had otherwise.
I cry when it’s sounded at Remembrance Sunday
But Remembrance Sunday will be different this year. I’ll remember him and those who died in the First World War at the same time
Exactly. I think that it was what he would have chosen. The military part in respect to his naval background then the service with just his family. The Royal Family has very little privacy. We even expect them to share the saddest part of any relationship.
It's never going to be the same without him Poor Elizabeth
So true 😢
Family nd Memories will be her comfort from this day forward, lets hope this will be enough to sustain her in her days of mourn. RIEP Philip, gone but never forgotten, hi to Diana for us. 🙏🏿🖤
Now the most haunting thing of hearing him in my mind could happen in days. It has happened a night ago and I just cried when I did
It’s still going and I’m not as scared hearing him anymore that’s just me dreaming of him and me getting together
This was beautiful. Many prayers for the Queen and the Royal Family.
A dignified funeral for a man of dignity, loyalty and service to his nation, his family and his Queen. "Grief is the price we pay for love," is a oft quoted statement from Queen Elizabeth, and is true for all of us. May God grant her peace and comfort during her time of loneliness and grief.
What a beautiful tribute. Blessings to the royal family.
Just imagine being married to someone for 74 years then them dying she looks so sad and heartbroken
Lol

“God Save the Queen” being sung really broke me...God Bless Her from America 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thankyou
The queen has shown strength in being alone and is sending a message to all commonwealth.
Bagpipes scene... Heartbreaking 😢
indeed, very poignant during the lowering of Duke's casket into burial chambers below the chapel.
Very poignant indeed, my friend watched at home with family in Edinburgh a former Scots Guardsman 💂 and Falklands veteran wept as the piper from the Royal Regiment of Scotland played the tune "Flowers of the Forest" as the coffin is slowly lowered to the Royal Vault, the Duke was their commander and a comrade in arm, as they say "Rest Easy, Sir, Your Duty Is Done!"
The bagpipes got me 😭
