Having a almost 2 yr. old St. Berdoodle myself I also commend the parents on Brock's coat. My boy requires daily brushing and his coat is not as long ,but knew the face immediately. My guy also hates me doing the paws, he pulls exactly the same.
My brain went to Irish wolfhound doodle only because I've never seen a St Bernard with that type of coloration. aside from the mischief with the paw treatments he was definitely a unicorn doodle. thank you SO much for the video. Hope the rest of your week is filled with positive vibes and decent weather.
SAME! When she said St Bernard, my jaw dropped. I just knew he was some sort of wolfhound doodle. But holy mackerel, he's gorgeous and with a gorgeous demeanor to match! I'm absolutely in love with this good boi.

My first thought too, especially the face. But then I had doubts when I saw the length of his coat, I'm not sure mixing a doodle would lengthen the coat this much. His size/proportion made me doubt a little too, when sitting next to Vanessa, but I thought it was possible. I'm impressed how he seems to have kept the doodle body without gaining much bulk from the Saint B.

too small, Vanessa is a tiny human and irish wolfhounds are one of the tallest breeds in the world. Was my initial guess, too, but it couldn't physically be an adult one.

I love seeing this. We have a bernedoodle who we keep long but we are very dedicated to keeping him brushed and mat free. The groomers always compliment us about it. I feel like if you’re going to get the dog with a difficult coat, you need to be prepared to take care of it.

I have a 5 month old Bernedoodle puppy and we have brushed him every night since we got him. I want him to be used to it and love it (or at least tolerate it).
@@onedaysai0 And that's exactly what will most likely happen, my own pup Connie starts booping her brush box because it's time for her to be groomed according to her, lol. She especially loves getting tummy rubs with the brush.
Yes, exactly, same for mine! I don't understand how some people want certain breeds and don't do the research behidn the care, temperament, training, etc. I knew grooming was going to be a lot for my doodle and I knew training was going to have to be stressed from day 1.

What a beautiful, well cared for and behaved Brock. I did giggle at the end, when he had tickly feet though. My late long haired GSD was so well behaved and would go to sleep on the table - till his tickly feet needed done 🤗

I call those 'poodle eyes'. When I saw them I immediately knew he had some poodle in him. They just have such a unique way that they gaze at things, as if they're pondering everything they see.

I had to go through a rigorous routine to get my pup-a-doodle Connie to tolerate her feet being handled, we got there in the end...eventually...thankfully.

... and along his family tree lines, maybe somewhere afar off a likeness of some Griffon Vendéen, not so much for his size, but for his expressions, moves and manners, reminding me of such breed we lived with long ago. Always nice to see your fresh kindness and dogs-adjusted actions toward all our furry best friends. Omg Vanessa--Thank you for acknowledging (ok, alluding to..) the stress, anxiety, and anguish of Doodle parenting! Not an hour goes by when I do not worry, feel guilty, inadequate, hopeless, or afraid when it comes to brushing one or the other of my two Australian Labradoodles (aka, wild animals in teddy bear outfits), so thank you for knowing that we are out there. Ok, gotta go brush my dogs--cheers!

Stberndoodle, neighbor has one, lanky, head of a calf, sorry ugly, they rarely brush him and aggressive to poodles and some kids, son can't walk him, sad!
Or perhaps made in the backyard ? Maybe an unauthorized road trip by a doggie daddy ?
@dottyk1637 Canines have individual characters regardless of breeding. The poodle breed can be aggressive just like any breed. It is sad that the owners and the canine you are speaking of are having a difficult time. While it is a good thing that we can express our opinion (head of a calf), it would be good if we can end on a positive or encouraging note. Hopefully this family and their pet will transition into a happy, peaceful existence.

We had a black miniature poodle that we lost to cancer 1 year ago after only 10yo still miss her terribly, she was so intelligent and loving just so full of fun 😢
So Sorry. Never had real pets like dogs. But know lots of people who still grieve for their pets after many years; one woman spent a fortune on one of her sick dogs. I realized just how profound the relationship can be. It seems, they are humans with four legs to us humans.
