Valentina may be the most skilled woman in MMA, with thug Rose a very close second. The main criticism is that on the feet despite all the skill she tends to be just too tactical which puts her in a position to loose close decisions. I wish she could flow like Rose and be more aggressive on the feet

Valentina is 2 weight classes smaller than Amanda. She didn't cut any weight at all to fight at 135, cuts only a handful of pounds to make 125 and walks around at the same weight as some of the top strawweights. If I was Amanda (who walks around at 160-170lbs) and most people thought I got beaten by a little girl, I would feel very insecure about my skills.

Good fight, judges called it well. Split decision to Nunez. Valentina could've stolen it but she just isn't aggressive enough. Nunez gets it for pushing the pace, as well as finishing on top.

When people don't like you, you always lost in a close fight like this. This is a very close fight and that's why it is a split decision. But looking at the fight dispassionately you will see the decision was right. Valentina relied so much on her technical abilities to win. She became too careful and that's why she lost. My opinion.
