Chandler deserves it, it's one thing to take unfair opportunities for the sake of your career, it's another to go around looking down on other people. Chandler ducked Islam's callouts, said Islam didn't fight anybody worthwhile to deserve a title fight (even though Chandler got one after only beating Dan Hooker, who Islam beat faster), and is now saying he can outwrestle Islam.
