I Built a 1973 Blizzard Clone for a MAJOR upcoming Movie!!!

I given the wonderful opportunity to participate in the upcoming Quebec Film on Gilles Villeneuve's early days of racing. As you might know, he was a champion snowmobile racer before becoming one of the best Formula 1 pilots to have ever raced! He raced Alouette and Ski-Roule in his career. I was asked to provide a Ski-Doo Blizzard for the recreation of the 1974 Kawartha Cup race in Peterborough, Ontario.
My uncle and I got a 1974 340 TnT free air up and running and outfitted it to replicate a Blizzard 440 that could have fictitiously raced in that iconic race.

At 15, I bought a year old 1974 400FA Ski Doo, when it was warm it was a pig but when it turned cold, man it flew and embarrassed many 440cc or bigger sleds from their competition!

- It was a lot of work, but it managed to hold up for all 5 days in Valcourt!!!! I am really glad it made it!!! You never know with these old sleds, sometimes the dumbest thing happens and you have a breakdown….

Can you help me my skidoo elan 250 just randomly shuts down when im driving and then it takes like 20 drags to turn it on and i have tried working on it but it doesnt help so please help me😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 love your vids❤❤❤❤

- Sounds like an electrical issue… Start by shaking the wires on the sled to see if there is a loose connection. If its in the engine, you might have to check coil, points, condensor. Good luck and thanks for watching!!!

- The track was on a 1976 rv we had that was set up for oval racing. It was not brand new, but still in really good shape. Holding up well so far.
