The Vintage Snowmobile Club of the Adirondacks (VSCADK) held its first (and only...) vintage run on the Canadian side on February 13th 2022 in beautiful Hemmingford, Quebec.
Join Matt as he brings his recently tuned up Ski-Doo Everest 444 LC out for the annual run. Many makes and models showed up. SnoJet, Ski-Whiz, Skidoo, Northway, Hus-ski, Yamaha Vmax 4 and many more!!! It was a cold and icy day, but everyone had a great time!

  • Awesome vid, Man. Looks tons of fun; breakdowns are just part of the deal. Twenty years ago we could count on plenty of snow for the entire season here in south central Maine. Now it's a crapshoot; maybe we get snow, maybe we don't. This year hasn't been too bad, much better than the last two seasons. Thanks for sharing.

    • Yeah, it's the same here. We probably only get 4-5 total weeks of good winter here in Southern Quebec. You can get -20 with 12in of powder on Tuesday and pouring rain on Thursday... You just have to enjoy when you can... Thanks for watching!!

  • My old 775 little twin would give that V-max a run for it's money 😉

  • I'm a little blown away to see a complete absence of both Polaris and Arctic Cat. No fans in the club? A protest? Boycott? lol.... great video! Cool to see the "Snow Cruiser" and "Northway". Never seen those brands before.

    • The run was supposed to be on Saturday, but due to rain, we moved it to Sunday and several guys couldn’t make it. There would have been some Cats and at least 1 Polaris…

    • @@mattsws Sounds like the Polaris and Arctic Cat guys need to re-examine their priorities! Ha-ha... just kidding. I do think this must be some kind of statistical record though. "First Vintage Run Featuring Seven or More Brands Without Including an Arctic Cat or Polaris Product". Give yourself a blue ribbon! Ha-ha!

  • Man i wish my town had vintage sled rides iam the only vintage sled guy in my neighborhood but all my neighbors love my old sleds

    • Most guys in our club have to do some mileage to meet up. I may seem impressive to see 15 vintage sleds riding together, but we are from a 300km radius!!!!

  • Great video, hey someone has somw nice Case tractors in the video there, nice collection of sleds there. Thats pretty much the same country as around here, Manitoba! Love all those sleds, that Sno Jet is minty. The ol' Everest is reliable!

    @wayneh8767@wayneh87672 жыл бұрын
    • Yeah, the Snowjet was a real beauty. I seem to have all the bugs worked out of the Everest, because it has been pretty reliable the last several times I have used it. Thanks for watching!!

  • Looks like a great time Matt! Glad to see the 444 didn't let you down. I see the Vmax 4 overheated....were you having any high temp issues with the 444? That was a perfect day for fan cooled sleds with bogie wheels! HAHA

    @D00640ER@D00640ER2 жыл бұрын
    • We sure did!!! The Vmax had duct tapped his hoods vents which didnt help… He took the tape off and ran the rest of the day. The 444 ran great! I could put my hand on the engine at anytime!

  • Great video thank you for sharing. I looked up where you where riding you where pretty much straight East of me here in Wisconsin, We had a foot and half of new snow a few days ago to bad you did not have it there. Not sure if you seen the video of me riding in it yet. Only bad thing with the deep snow and the 1967 it crippled, AKA my Back on no Suspension.

    • It's the worse feeling when the sled starts, but the cord stays in your hand, then the engine dies....
