Ngl, I believe Sky Piercer isn't meant for burst dmg, it's better if you deal lots of dot and let the item take care of the last 5% of HP
It's useless if your dot is so low that it can't give enough damage for the execute
Sky piercer is meant for burst hero on early game, when they usually lack a little dmg to kill the opponent
What use does an item have if it's just used in early? Besides, did you watch the video? Beatrix's dot minigun was more successful at triggering sky piercer than Eudora

This item was meant for assassin to help them snowball much easier as they secure kill with sky piercer
It's never meant for Burst Heroes, it's for poke heroes that has potential burst abilities. Which is why it's extremely broken because most of those heroes uses DHS or Wishing Lantern, giving Sky Piercer really high value. For the pro scenes it might not be game changing, but for solo queue rank up it's actually unbalanced because you can completely snowball or make comebacks easier, all you need is Sky Piercer and DHS or Wishing Lantern.

@@Meteor-ThunderBears Novaria is even more terrifying with it. She can actually guarantee a kill if you're close to dying. Even if you still have HP, there's always Flameshot, and as a roamer Novaria, Dire Hit.
I agree with Hororo about not even a single person in Advance Server use Sky Piercer. But introduce this item in Original Server first, I'm pretty sure this item will be the biggest misuse, OP and Jungler Assassin, some mages suddenly strong, Damage Roamer and a lot more will happen.

@@sourgrpes0_0 that's why their adjustment were inaccurate sometimes(with advance server data) just like what happen to the Joy. They think Joy with a lot of damage will help her getting kill but with no CC immunity, she can't even sustain in teamfight.
Its more of a early game help item for brust dmg hero, so you buy the item first and then sell it after you got your actual core item, but it feels kinda wierd cuz the item is kinda pricey if you use it that way ( depends on what your first core item is cuz 1.5k gold can get you some good tier 2 item ) Also melting the enemy obviously will give you a better result with the item( by melting i mean continuous damage ) cuz u can actually get to the required HP threshold for it to activate ( instead of instantly killing a hero on 50% with one skill ) This will be a funny addition to hero that abuse attack speed( every mm with trinity, as if their core item wasnt a problem moonton wont fix ) or by having spam able stuff

For trinity heroes, would it be best to get piercer before, during, or after you get the three core items? I struggle to find a way to justify this purchase tbh
@@ghostling9823 I think it will be best to get the trinity core item first, but it really depends on your situation ( maybe you want it as second or third item so you can hard stomp your enemy if you win the laning phase or you want to get the item at late game to make sure you can actually kill something )
@@X__KetutDimasRahardiPutra It honestly depends on the scenario tho, when you are against High HP, having Sky Piercer is useless due to their High Vitality and not to mention, they also have high HP Regen which denies the passive, since it can recover first than the passive itself. If against High Enemies, I think Sea Halberg is still one of the best item to counter them. Sky Piercer, I think, works on mostly squishy heroes, due to low HP status, that is why it is meant for finishers to built this item since they can lower the enemies on an extensive rate than any other. Also, Sky Piercer is extremely good when you use it on heroes that deals damage based on *enemy's Max HP* like Novaria, or Masha...
Magic defense is essentially uselsss with this. Specially radiant, cuz by the time you have enough stack you're low on hp. And dead
It's because for burst hero sky piercer is early item to help them secure kill, when they usually lack a little of damage to kill. In the second place, aspd mm doesn't really need this item because in early the don't have enough dmg to burst down enemies, and in late game they already have really high dps.
Yeah , i feel like this item doesn't even make any sense in ML. The game is very fast so you can just farm item with better stats. You died in this game very quick anyway so that execution is unnecessary most of the time
To be honest, this item was good since it is meant to be built if you want to finish enemies before they can even save themselves... So, for me, Sky Piercer, I think, is best suitable for heroes who deal damage based on enemies' Max HP, since it can lower HP status faster while starting to slow when the enemies are at low health. Also, The Ogre Tomahawk, I remembered, had a passive before and now it is gone... Its passive was so useful in Early, since it gives movement speed with each basic attack.

the heroes suitable for this item are for those who need to use execute but can't in that certain game, ie; natalia jungle, guinevere when using flicker, helcurt, and generally just those who are suited well with execute.

Definitely not an early game item for 3 reasons: -Low cost, item Basically you don't need the stacks. 5% is such enough against like Xborg, masha and other tanks with high survivability. -it's an item for poke dmg heroes Most Burst dmg heroes already can one shot in the early game but there build path is usually specific. -using it on burst dmg heroes changes their playstyle
I think burst damage like Saber, Eudora, Kagura, etc will be good with Sky Piercer, considering tanks are their archnemesis, this item can help those kind of heroes to kill them, not left them with little HP like before. It's almost useless if your enemies are bunch of squishies though
in my opinion,in early game just buy it,but like when on the 12th minute,change it to another item since as i see it,its only useful for solo fights,since 10% is easily dealable by teammates
i think for natalia you can replace execute with sprint since sky piercer and execute are useless together

Sky piercer is really good for wanwan, since she builds trinity(or semi crit with corrosion dhs and haas) which reduces by current hp, which means the dps decreases when the enemy hp is lowered, and sky piercer will finish it off.
Same goes for Karina too for her unli-ult

The only problem with this item is to try not to get killed, and still a cost that is nothing for the pros, still OP.

i think better if pasif change to dealt damage to enemies and make their hp down to 5% it will be instant kill, not damage on 5% hp left enemys
I feel using this item on Xavier while replacing his boots with sky piercer would make him OP. Sky Piercer (In replacement of boots)+ Enchanted Talisman + Holy Crystal + Lightning Truncheon + divine glaive + Whatever item you want on Xavier, glowing wand, blood wings, genius wand, whatever. For the Emblem recommendation I say use Assassin Emblem+ Rupture + weapons master + impure rage Xavier Ultimate can do 4000 damage on his ultimate when you had add lightning truncheon but sometimes it could leave enemies just in that 5% health range. Sky piercer will just guarantee the kills you get on squishy heroes.
I personally think this item would fit Mathilda and Novaria. Both need movement speed for their passives. Both have many situations wherein their full combo left the enemies with very little HP to escape. Both are kinda hard to kill, especially in the hands of pro users. However, they need to last hit the enemy to gain stacks, so I'm not so sure with Mathilda.
I can see this working for other heroes like alice, yu zhong, or other sustain heroes. Sincd i dont have advanced server, ill be excited to use this for roams.

During my time playing wildrift and falling in love with their item named "The Collector", which is basically Sky Piercer's older brother. It's an item for pick offs and for heroes that can get enemy's health pretty easily. So slap this item on Claude or Hanzo and your basically set-

Sky Piercer is either love or hate equipment for execution dmg, which can help any damage whose enemy target's HP is low. It's better with Beatrix (My main) for the four weapons. On an enemy is using Sky Piercer, try to avoid them even your HP is at bit low.
2:53 WOW, At that match with beartrix, I notice that Masha's 3 HP bar gets instantly deleted by the Sky piercer's passive, like, almost like 5-4 basic attacks with nibiru melts her HP bar. Truly a broken item in some cases like this.

If they coded sky piercer like the collector (league of legends) more people would buy it bcs the reason why the collector is such a popular first item not cus the extra gold you get on kill but the satisfaction of seeing the true dmg execute triggered even tho your skill/AA dmg surpassed 5% hp threshold
Try to use it on floryin I think her dmg from the lantern counts and will help finishing off them Or just a roamer in general with scotch

Only if they give Argus a healing and shield reduction by 50% on his curse, he will stop depending on item. He will always become gold laner if that isn't happen. That's just too much for him to choose between corrosion and sea halberd which those two item is expensive as war axe with "not so useful effect".
I will always play Argus in Gold Lane if they don't give 50% healing and shield reduction to his S2 curse which can be stacked with another healing&shield reduction similar to Baxia but with duration unlike Baxia who has continuous anti heal.

Just because it is not used often in Advanced server doesn’t mean it won’t be used often in original server. This item will stay broken, and the devs will circle around trying to find ways to tone down that instakill passive That or they revamp its passive entirely.
They tried to stop Tank Karrie but this gets released on Original Server, I'm sure players will use on their Karrie and other Attack Speed Marksmen.

i eprsonally think that most of the bea kills would be possible without sky piercer while the burst heroes if those kills had no sky piercer it wouldnt have happened, and although 3 and 4 is not much its already around 1/3 of the kills which is alot if u think about it that why i think anyone can use it tbh
Bursts already does too much damage, Tanks barely does damage, and specific MMs only become useful in late game. Sky Piercer is pretty much made for Roamers and heroes that have strong dueling ability but not a single ender, also this helps much for Trinity users, they won't even need to use either GS or CS, just SP and DHS already does the stuff.

I've used Sky Piercer by myself and my thought personally no. They do not need a kill and they can't even damage the enemy to (lower their HP). Special case: Mathilda, she's good.
I generally don't think supports need this item except if it's a Fara, Diggie or a Mathilda.

This item is not that good and only meant for snow ball situation, even if your team losing this item can't change the situation, i mean 5% without stack, in most situation the target can still die without the item, and 10% and maximum stack that you need to get 5 kill without dying still doesn't mean that good, imagine you get 5-7 kill without dying from the start meaning you're snow ball still the 10% doesn't mean anything if you can easily kill your enemy
