Hey folks ! Il be heading to Scotland again in the new year around the Inverness I have unfinished business in the area but these locations should get u started if u have any desires to visit the country. Hope u all enjoy the holidays !!
Did you realise you repeated a sentence in this video?
A place you miss and many do, is the view across the river Clyde in Greenock overlooking Gourock, form the Lyall hill at the monument dedicated to the sinking of a french ship WW2, outstanding view
Interesting, I grew up in Greenock. I walked from Braeside over the Lyall Hill to Gourock. The view is outstanding.
I'm quite proud to say I was born in Scotland and still live here to this day after 71 years. ❤❤❤
its stunning in scotland
William, after all your travels and experience of your beautiful country which area is your absolute favourite for scenery?
@@ellie.l6585I’m not William Ellie, but wanted to say that my favourite place is the Isle of Mull… ..incredible, do you have a favourite place?
@@delilahboahello and thank you for replying 🌷. I'll certainly look up the Isle of Mull. I'm based in England and was considering a move to the Scottish countryside. As children we spent time in the Dumfries & Galloway area as my parents had a holiday home there. Really stunning scenery. Sadly, I know very little about the parts further north apart from reading about it. I would love to tour and see it for myself, but have three adopted rescue dogs, two from overseas who had horrific lives and they don't travel well. The whole country looks stunning but seems a bit unstable politically at the moment 🦋.
I have worked in many countries & witnessed their beauty, I of course love the beauty of my land, Scotland. The world is full of contrasting beauties & I am so proud that Scotia is amongst them. 💙🏴
What a wonderful trip to Scotland I have just taken. Thank you so much for this wonderful video… I’m 85 years old and cannot make these strips anymore, so from the comfort of my living room, I can be there in spirit, at least… Thank you again!… From Delta British Columbia, Canada.
same 😊here. bed bound but had amazing trips and camps ,,so i watch it all virtually..God bless ALBA.❤😅
Scotland is a truly beautiful place
Scotland is class 🏴🥰🕺
OOOOOOOOOH YEAAAAHHHHHH SCOTTLAND FOREVER
Thank you for the virtual tour of a lovely country for sure I can't be there to savor it's beauty❤
Such a beautiful country although the areas with lots of lush trees would be on my shortlist. The islands are gorgeous but personally I would miss trees.
Picturesque Scotland. Rice people lived. I am glad to see this video Thank you very much sharing
SCOTLAND FOREVER
Lovely, I just found " Scottish hidden gems" too. Thanks
WOW my ancestors came from a beautiful country.
You have a few 'different' destinations on here, which is welcome, although the South of Scotland is still unrepresented. How about Melrose, or Jedburgh, with their abbeys; Dumfries or Kirkcudbright? And what about St Andrews, Falkland and Culross? I know they can't all be included in one film, but how about what is feasible as day trips, from where? The Fife and Borders destinations are certainly feasible day trips from Edinburgh, while D&G, Loch Lomond and Arran are from Glasgow....
I love Scottland its such a peacefull and amazing place
Think how much more beautiful Heaven is..
Amazing video, and great ideas about where to go and visit. Thank you!!!
Thanks so much for your thorough ideas and advice
Itis my dream country😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
😮So Beautiful 😍🙏
Hope to visit so.e day soon ❤ NZ
Its my dream country 😊❤
My husband and I have just watched this on our television - I’m now on my IPad! …… I just wanted to say we thought it was brilliant….. the way you put this video together was just so enjoyable to watch………what an incredible part of the world, we’ve been lucky to visit Loch Ness and the Isle of Mull many times and this year we’re going to Ardnamurchan, can’t wait!….. thanks again for this video, loved it 👍🏻👍🏻

this is beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮😮
Hope to visit it soon
"So, given the changeable weather, multiple trips provide a kind of distinctive experience each and every time. And given the changeable weather, multiple trips will provide you with a distinct experience each and every time." 😅
Definitely lots of repetition during this narrative. What the?🤨
Sanquhar (San-Car) in Dumfries and Galloway. 🏴🏴
For those who watch this video, wish everyone a nice day and relaxing moments. Loving you 💕💕
A masterful video, including much first class drone shots. An excellent selection of locations, as good a revue of Scottish places as I have seen. Congratulations on a masterpiece of video and narrative. Many thanks. Rmb5*
Very nice and interesting video
Hal, you created a masterpiece here. Your narrative and the music you selected are perfect companions to the phenomenal video. Bravo!!!
Very kind of you to say so
it is good to see. I also got discounted train tickets, looking forward to my trip.
Sir Walter Scott described a certain glen in Scotland as, "the longest, the loneliest and the most beautiful". You missed it. Perhaps that's for the good.
I’m truly excited to plan a trip to my dna roots to the highlands sometime soon. I’m 76% Scott from highlands and the Hebrides
Great clip but ask any scots person and they will come up with their own version, personally my neck of the woods is the best number 3 on the list, also like to say that Perth was indeed once the capital of Scotland but then it was called "St Johnstone" hence the name of the football team who come from Perth, thank you for this wonderful video, God Bless.
I was waiting to hear the pipes, 🤔
An Englishman who pays tribute to my wonderful country, by pronouncing "Loch" correctly. You win the internet today sir! :)
Is there another way to pronounce it? It must be really irritating to have someone pronounce it wrong. I lived in Edzell and the Aberdeen area from 69-70 (attended the local school) and we just loved Scotland. My twin girls are coming with their husbands this year, one in July and one in December. The one in July has never been any farther than England so I know she is really going to enjoy this trip.
@@Reneelwaring alot of people don't get the "ch" part, and often pronounce it as "lock", to be fair, they usually aren't from Scotland, and we all know how it should be said, but it's a sound not really found in English, it's in other languages like Dutch, and even Arabic, here, it's the Gaelic influence, that peppers our language. Some nations are fine with it, like the Irish, for obvious reasons, but our American friends can someone make a real pigs ear of it :) I am glad you love Scotland, if you love Scotland, it will love you. Enjoy yer trip! slainte.
@@Retrospective. Feels like German, you know, in the throat. It helps me that I attended a local school since there were no military schools at Edzell RAF Airforce/USN Base where my dad was assigned.
Yet he then calls it a lake….. 🤦🏻♂️
@@MIEJ4 the video is in English. 🙄
What about Culross in the Kingdom of Fife?
It’s going to be in a video this jan
Hi mate, are you able to provide a map with the locations pin pointed on it, similar to the video that you did for each individual place but a whole map of all the places?
love these tours so beautiful please don't let the London mayor in
What about oban
Took a dna test im 20% Scottish would love to travel there amd see the homeland
Nice video and great suggestions to visit some stunning places, but The Trossachs National Park is not in Southern Scotland. It's central Scotland.
I tought Stirling was the capital of Scotland before Edinburgh. So which one is it Stirling or Perth? After all Stirling seem to had the royal hold and a castle. Other videos says Stirling is the ex -capital of Scotland. Americans make a lot of mistakes about Europe so..
Perth was the capital before Edinburgh .
Hi, Where to start discovering Scotland, how to establish such a cool and interesting route for the whole year, can you help with this?, thank you, ;-)
Start south and take a journey north west and visit skye or any western island then go to orkney and if possible shetland. It wont matter about your destinations so much the journey alone will be enough as the whole country is beautiful.
Medillenus, Air sports Center Cocaine and Caviars
Did you forget to north of Inverness.
It’s easier through train to go there. And there's a discount code for railcard too
What’s the railway?
It's also nice to do a rail journey to see the sights along the way. My friends told me a way to get bigger discounts for rail trips.
Dunnottar and not what splashed across the screen ! ( Dunnattor)
Perth ?! lol
Douglas
Show the real beech
I was in the final stages of a planned 2 - 3 week to visit Scotland. Then I heard about the absurd "hate speech" law where anybody can claim you "ofended" them. I am now cancelling my trip. I will have to enjoy Scotland only through photographs and videos, until they too get banned.
At least you could make the effort to spell "Dunottar" correctly!
Edinburgh Castle is hugely overrated. Better castles are for example Stirling Castle, Blair Castle and very unique one Dunrobin Castle. Highly recommend the last one! Honestly, there are so many more better than Edinburgh Castle.
Spelling of Dunnottar? Pronunciation of Luskentyre? Come on guys, does nobody do any research before publishing this flawed commentary?
Too many immigrants in Scotland
sadly
Poor coverage.... Where was the beauty of the borders or Galloway. . Obviously the compiler thinks Scotland starts at Edinburgh
Scotland looks boring ill pass
@BillyDatBx everyone has a right to have a opinion!. BUT TO DISMISS BONNIE SCOTLAND AS BORING IS BORDERING ON DISRESPECT FULL!!!!!. SCOTLAND HAS SO MUCH TO OFFER AND REQUIRES REPEATED VISITS TO ENJOY THE DIVERSITY OF ATTRACTIONS. 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
You may take your high road Sir, I'll take the low road and I'll be in Scotland before Ye.
It’s not “Dunnator Castle”. It is “Dunottar” with the stress on the “O”. Sloppy video and sloppy speech.
Nobody likes you.
Ooh that's a little harsh, Peter 😢
Get over it Petey boy
