This is a good example of well planned training. Notice how the guy holding the pads is moving backwards similar to Machida. Tactics like that are very underrated. Smart fighting.

Shogun is raw strenght
He's a very good fighter. Whenever I play UFC Undisputed, I always use Shogun because his form is perfect, his kicks are strong, and takedowns are swift and dominant. In real life, he dominates anyone in his way.
@Ramshobraja Probably but one needs to realize that Shogun has very high KO power in nearly all of his strikes. Along with that power he definitely knew not to use the same strategy twice in just a small tweak to his game was what knocked out Machida. In Machida's case since no strategy will ever be perfect now he has to modify his strategy for the future.

Sorry for the petty comment, but could you BadBoys get Shogun to wear those longer looser shorts again (like in 2:23), unless it significantly hinders his performance. I don't know if it will slow him down, but I imagine it'll help his submissions. I also think it is a lot more flattering.

Despite he might look a little fat, Rua improved his cardio and we saw it during the first machida Fight; so tomorrow we must expect a better fight than ther first, which was very good already( for those who like MMA at techniques and fighting styles, not only brawling)

@hasambinseen I'm sorry but I saw Lyoto walking out of the octagon w/ the belt and millions did also. In the end, the judges are the one's that determine the outcome regardless Lyoto won 3 out of 5 rounds.

As a result, the people there usually treat their nationality as a citizenship, but not an ethnicity. You could be a white Brazilian (Ana Hickmann, Bundchen) Black Brazilian (Anderson Silva) Pardo (Brown skinned, ala Belfort or Nogs) OR Asian decent/mix (Ala Machida and myself. My mom is coreano)
