You yourself are very much aware how unfunny you are, but you still try to pluck/steal/grab some validation from a man, in this case, a very famous man. Of course he said yes. He's a public figure. He has no choice, but to say yes. Whammyn are horrendous when it comes to comedy, among other things.

You can't be a whining feminazi AND then try to be celebrated for something an REAL comedian said! She slanders males in her comments while spouting feminazi lies about women being so-called "victims". That isn't "self criticism" nor is it "projection". I didn't invent logic dude! This chick got called on her bullshit and I find that amusing. I'm not "projecting" I'm OBSERVING her fail! :-) I might also ask, then who are YOU criticizing and what are YOU projecting here?

    • Not really, most companies that are not entertainment, are not trying to get validation from its consumers . They’re providing a service, whether it’s the food, cleaning, construction industry. They know most people will either buy from them or not, that’s how capitalism works. But judging by your channel I would say you are probably a leftist, socialist, which is not bad but you’re bringing politics talk into something completely unrelated.

      @yungpost3898@yungpost38983 жыл бұрын

If you heard the stories of Bill and patrice's comedic circle you would know that they would be brutal to one another, especially if they bombed in front of each other. The interviewer doesnt understand what it takes to be a comedian. If you are willing to dish out jokes you gotta be willing to be the butt of the joke. • I repeat: I understood EXACTLY what Burr was saying. As I state elsewhere in this comment section, Burr acknowledged that women can be funny and that women (and men too!) need to stop making excuses for their lack of success in comedy. He advised to become undeniable. I asked Burr a provocative question and he gave a very motivational answer. Thanks, Bill!

  • As I stated elsewhere in the comments, I asked Bill a provocative question and he took it in a different direction and then gave a motivational answer. He was not insulting me personally, but giving a no-nonsense response. When I said during the interview, "Absolutely, I am an entrepreneur. I am a web person" it was because I was telling him that I was not the type of person who makes excuses but rather the sort that knows they need to start things for themselves to make things happen, regardless of gender. I even agree with him again at the end before he concludes. He was not owning me, but dispensing the great advice that in entertainment we all need to become undeniable.

    • It's hard to tell If someone is a real geek (this is defined by your knowledge) and since nobody is going to test them on a regular basis they just identify as fans and its impossible to denie that someone is a fan. That's how we got "real" fan's and the imposers...funny thing is many imposers don't even realise it.

  • I think the issue is misguided. Comedy doesn't come from your genitalia; it comes from your mind, your personality and your creativity. Comedy isn't specific to one gender. I have met plenty of stick-in-the-mud dudes who couldn't crack a smile if their lives depended on it (cough, cough, Nick Saban). The key is to develop your personality.

  • Comedy is funny when you can relate to it. I was watching a female comedian with a few friends (some guys and some girls), and the comedian did a bit on her period that made my female friends laugh their heads off. I couldn't relate to the joke, so I didn't laugh, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't funny.
