Edge is the Lore at which conflict meets, hopefully we can all grow to understand the struggles which course the world, in time - this might help you on your way.

Loving the video, its pretty good at summing up the lore of edge, tho I think it misses its connection to a aspect extremely closely tied to it: knock From quotes like "Not all doors are wounds; but all wounds are doors." The conection between the colonel and the mother of ants and how both gods of stone that were known to have the edge aspect where also knock
I was certainly thinking about that while editing, I'm thinking the topic of the Gods from stone may need to be a separate video or collected in an "Other" category, like the new powers we've seen in Book of Hours. Otherwise I'm definitely gonna explore these connections in the knock video.
I have heard whisperings, Wolf Stories, that the Wolf Divided was not born by the Sun-in-Splendors demise, instead awakened by it, this however is Birdsong, so who can say.
Is this perhaps where shreds of the sixth or seventh histories have leaked into what is permitted? The Sun's return would allow the wolf to sleep, but is that as an individual or a rejoined part of a whole? Can any being rest while it still hungers? Truly? If that which can sate the Hunger that drives it would also herald the end of days, would the sun's return herald peace or the end of all? Such is the mercurial nature of Birdsong. Such is best left ignored, for the other histories are silly places indeed

Winter is the one I have tee'd up for next and I have a script for heart written out (which would follow on) - I'm torn between sticking with the subversion cycle or going between lores that relate to each other more - since edge and winter share quite a bit of lore it's quite easy for the scripts to follow on - but then the transition to the lores of the wood (moth, heart, blah blah) is quite a bit harder

Pretty good video, though I think you could have gone into a bit more detail regarding beings who exude the principle, like stridges and the fact that the Axe itself used to be Edge.Maybe add that in if you ever to a gods-from-stone video
I love these videos so much. A note: towards the end of the video, you talk about the trade of "stolen years". While it's true that in the Exile DLC, the year-tallies are referred to this way, this is because we the player stole these years, and NOT because they are intrinsically stolen. In fact, while these years remain in the Cindered Tally, they are meticulously guarded and legitimately traded. We can observe this happening in the regular gameplay of Cultist Simulator. It's implied that if you let Poppy Lascelles return in the Season of Rags without a friend to go in your stead, you yourself are sacrificed to the Madrugad in a beautiful ending, and (some of) your remaining life-span is turned into year-tallies. But these years aren't stolen--she paid you for them in gold and spintriae, after all. You can also create year-tallies in Book of Hours in what seems to be some kind of occult stock-brokerage, though the exact mechanics are left vague. To craft a year-tally requires something called "essential periost", which can only be created from the remains of a living (though not necessarily human) thing. It's all very wintry!
Oh I see, that's very interesting - do you have some pointers that I can read up on that about? Maybe it'll be worth it to do a video more dedicated to the lore surrounding The Exile at some point
@user-mx9uc9oi3h Late reply, but the Sun-in-Rags is very explicitly the Hour you’re sacrificed to in the Season of *Rags*. If the name isn’t convincing, the text talking about “beautiful endings” is reminiscent of The End Is Beautiful, a Winter curse that invokes the Sun-in-Rags to bring “beautiful endings”. Also, Poppy explicitly mentions the SiR by name
I'd put Wolf-Divided in-between Colonel and Lionsmith, and he is literally being divided between both of them, but overall, the video is great
Why do you say he's divided between them? I don't think I've heard that perspective before.
@@HandsomeLibSomeone already made a Cultist Simulator political compass map, with Colonel as Authoritarian and Lionsmith as Liberal, respectively(can't link it on KZhead). Since Wolf-Divided stands for violence indiscriminate, he is probably between them in that regard. Not, like, actually divided between them, but more ideologically. That's just how I see it.
I would love to see more videos concerning the principles that guide this reality. Just be sure to deter unwanted attention of the wrong kind with your videos. Some secrets are best kept if unspoken of.😅
