if i am not mistaken, she was trained to be main vocal originally but as she once had vocal chord problems probably in her 3-4th year of being a trainee, she then changed to focus on training her dancing instead. Luckily she debuted and she got to showcase both her vocal and dancing skills. she is the ace of the industry indeed!

When i discovered RV and first saw their 'Psycho' performances, i was astonished by Seulgi and Wendy's vocals, but i got to say i was a little more impressed by Seulgi. Her voice is outstanding, and i was even more shocked when i read everywhere that she was the MAIN DANCER of the group, i was like what?! I thought she was the main vocalist because she is THAT good. I usually distinguish voices by closing my eyes and it has to move me. Great voices that do that for me are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Ariana Grande and Seulgi. There are other Korean artists that I won’t list right now because I can actually put her on the same pedestal as these ladies because she has such a different and unique voice like all those ladies I have mentioned. I’ve heard he belt out Ariana Grande and that is not easy to do and she does it with ease. Such an amazing voice!! It moves me in ways emotionally and that’s what you want. You want the voice to move you.

if i am not mistaken, she was trained to be main vocal originally but as she once had vocal chord problems probably in her 3-4th year of being a trainee, she then changed to focus on training her dancing instead. Luckily she debuted and she got to showcase both her vocal and dancing skills. she is the ace of the industry indeed!
She actually entered SM as a vocalist like she auditioned for singing, and maybe the trainers saw her potential in dancing that's why they trained her well in dancing.

I usually distinguish voices by closing my eyes and it has to move me. Great voices that do that for me are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Ariana Grande and Seulgi. There are other Korean artists that I won’t list right now because I can actually put her on the same pedestal as these ladies because she has such a different and unique voice like all those ladies I have mentioned. I’ve heard he belt out Ariana Grande and that is not easy to do and she does it with ease. Such an amazing voice!! It moves me in ways emotionally and that’s what you want. You want the voice to move you.
