Headloss from Liban was generational. To comment on Chelsea again. Our squad is perfectly built for a possession based side. World class technical ability at every position bar left back. The lack of leadership comes from lack of confidence. I believe we are in such a better position than UTD atm. No one talks about all of Chelsea’s injuries. Reece, Fofana, Chilwell, Lavia, Nkunku, Colwill, Sanchez all out for extended periods. Give me RDZ or Thiago Motta type and Chelsea are right back at the top. Much love

The runs the hold up play the dribbling the passing. Just you wait brother. If they make the right choices this summer Chelsea is right back on top. A possession style coach, a LW (Leao) a GK and I believe we are set. Getting Reece and the injured guys back next year is basically getting new signings back
Look at the g/a involvements from Mac Allister in recent weeks as well. Not the 3rd or 4th goal in games, but clutch moments, dropped points on the line, scoring screamers, finding passes nobody sees, composure in the final third. And its not just the highlight reel stuff either. The ball drops from 30 yards in the air and he kills it dead and moves the ball on in the same motion, has no angle bias receiving the ball. Small things that progress our play quicker. His development has been behind the scenes at smaller clubs mirrors Van Dijk. Van Dijk was the best defender in the league at Southampton. Mac was always incredible, he's got the platform now to truly showcase.

When we got Ten Hag, every fan was happy and felt like for the first time we have got a manager coming into the peak of his powers. One bad season and people are changing their minds. Sometimes you need to stick by a manager & send a message to players, agents and everyone associated with the club that No Matter What, the manager is staying so learn to live with it or get out the club. We did a similar thing in SAF’s first few seasons and in the end, it worked out. Arsenal also stuck by Arteta when he was finishing out the Top 4. I hope INEOS stick by him

Foden is unreal
As a City fan that game was one of our best this season. The Villa goal came against the run of play and they didn't show any threat although they were missing some key players. Honestly it's time for KDB to take a step back, at least this season. Foden's been amazing in the 10 and the benching of Haaland has made us more fluid in attack, kinda reminiscent of 21/22 City. Foden rn is our 2nd best player and if Pep plays him on the wing vs Madrid I'm gonna lose my sh. Rodri tho, what a player, hot take but Rodri is the best player itw imo. I know that Mbappe exists but Rodri is literally a 6, 8, 10, he's everything this season.

Nunez has a better g/a rate per 90 than haaland in the prem this season if you remove pens. He's on almost a goal contribution every game
Nunez is a better overall player and has more potential but he needs to improve his finishes he misses too many sitters but gets lots of worldies
It’s 1 bad season. It happens. Football is not linear. You can’t just make tweaks with bad players and become so much better. You need a DoF to get you better players. Not every season can a manager come out looking good, only guys like Pep can do that

Ange begs to differ on not being able to put in a system in place. He also has meady players and went through a big injury crisis but they still played the same attacking style of football. Ten hag in crowd are a joke. But keep him for ten more years we will take a couple more 7-0 wins
The thing is- ten hag is stuck between a rock and a hard place. End of last season everyone said we need to start playing better football now, that’s the main thing we need to see. A more progressive style of play. Start of last season, he tried to implement his style of play and we got slapped the first two games. So he reverted to what the players suited and could manage. Which was essentially ole ball. Low block/ counter attacking. He slowly started trying to get them to press higher and create turnovers but the players just looked burnt out and couldn’t manage it and we ended the season poorly. So this season he’s tried to get them playing more on the front foot. But he can’t have them playing the “Ajax” style. Of having possession and breaking down teams in the low block. Because, our two CB’s that can play that style of a high line are varane and Martinez. They’ve both been injured this season. Maguire and lindeloff and evans have been killed whenever they’ve played a high line. So they instinctively drop back. But he’s also had to have the entire back four and DM stay back whilst the front 6 attack. The front 6 now try and press and create turnovers. Which actually works btw. We have some of the highest numbers in the league when it comes to that stat and at one point it was the highest in the league. The reason he’s done that is because the players aren’t good enough to create chances themselves. Rashford can barely beat a man anymore. Garnacho is good but he’s not sharp enough to beat a man or two and create a chance against a team in a low block. Houjlund is often too isolated to create for during a low block. Antony has been poor probably because of his personal situation. But overall our attackers just aren’t good enough to create chance after chance and control the ball enough to break down team in a low block. So he’s trying to have them press and counter press to create turnovers in the oppositions half to give them easier opportunities to use their strengths of running into space. The midfield just isn’t good enough to create chances for the forwards either. Eriksen who’s probably the best at keeping the ball and playing through the lines has been injured. Mount has been injured. Scott barley shows for the ball and can’t create for shit. Casemiro has been injured and isn’t a creative player. Bruno has been really off it this season and just isn’t that player to control a game like that. So he’s forced to have the team create chances through unforced and forced errors against the opposition. Either that or revert to what ole and him got criticised for last season, which is playing in a low block and countering. For him to create a new style of play, he needs to implement it now, regardless of poor performances or lack of results. If the players can’t handle it and can’t manage to play the system then they will be exposed and then can be hopefully replaced. I’m sure that’s his thinking. Rashford has been well and truly exposed by this system. Because he doesn’t put in the effort that’s needed to play a transitional style of play. Often the press gets beaten because of him or some other player not doing their job in the press. He wouldn’t hack it in a klopp or pep team because of his lack of effort. The CB’s in maguire and lindeloff and evans can’t play it either because they have no pace or defensive positioning or ability on the ball to play an higher line. Our midfield is so unbalanced that it can’t play a possession based game because they aren’t good enough to break down teams, or keep the ball and create chances. The team can’t play a high pressing/ high defensive line because the defence isn’t good enough to go man for man against attackers and handle counter attacks. Players like rashford also completely break down the presses too and don’t come back to help out either. They aren’t disciplined or defensively good enough to get back in a unit in that style either. People think ten hag is being exposed for not having any tactics or no “style of play”. It’s more the players are being exposed by the system that’s being implemented. Either because they’re not good enough, or because players have been injured or because players like rashy aren’t professional enough to play a better style of football which relies on hard work and effort. Ten hag has been blamed for too many things. Losing the last two games in the final minutes after just leading is never down to him. It’s a lack of discipline and effort, game management and IQ from the players. He’s been blamed for signings because he worked with the likes of Antony. Well, if the dressing room is as weak mentally as it seems and have thrown other managers under the bus, then he would want his players who won’t turn on him in the dressing room. Also, he’s not a scout, he doesn’t look around the world at players and think yeah he fits my style and his stats suggest it. That’s not his job. So he’s going to suggest players he worked with but united paying how much they did for Antony is then put on him. Casemiro is the opposite kind of midfielder to a de jong. But if he’s offered him and no others, is he going to say no? The fact that we’ve been so bad at recruiting for so long, should more sway people to think it wasn’t on him for the signings. Regardless if the players they bought are his suggestions. This notion that he is the one who wanted control and didn’t want rangnick is pure united PR spin too, to just throw him under the bus and remove all responsibility for their failures. Guy has had to deal with the Sancho situation, Ronaldo situation, greenwood too, whilst the club is being sold and the turmoil and uncertainty of everyone at the club during it. Whilst having 60+ injuries and having to try and be more progressive with a bunch of players who complain about running too much in training and training whilst it’s dark outside in the winter. Guy needs giving time and getting the rot out of the club, getting in new staff around him in the coaching staff and from top to bottom and recruiting the right players to fit his style of play that he wants to play. Every United fan said no matter how bad it gets, we need to stick with him because we can’t just let the players and owners win time after time and throw another manager under the bus. He was the most highly touted manager in Europe to get a big move when he was at Ajax and it was because he had tactical nouse and a style of play. We’ve not seen it yet. Give him time or get Southgate or Potter. Because that’s who Ratcliffe is looking at according to sources close to the club. Any united fan that thinks getting rid of him is what we need to do first before anything else and that this is all on him. Mark my words- be careful what you wish for.

He's amazing. He's the host we never knew we needed. He handled the situation really well, fueled the fire when he needed to, brought up great talking points, pushed each member to give more info. As a Liverpool fan, this was the first time in a long time where it felt like the table actually watched and talked about the Liverpool game. Score 50 a season...? Name another player in history that does that. Suarez is the only player in history that can do that and he did it once in his career. 30 a season for a player like him is fine. The reason he gets so many chances is cause of his work rate and intelligence and movement off the ball.

One thing Fuad & Lyes is forgetting. Ten Hag did not ask to run the ship himself or to get rid of Ralf. That was a decision made by the club.
