Captain error on the invincible?? Where is everyone watching from? 🌎
Yes captain error ... Watching from cape cod ... Favorite sport fisherman ... Hatteras ...
Billings Mt
Looked intentional.
Naw looked like a professional for hire boat captain just soaking his idiots!
If idiocy is a part of captain error, then yes. SoCal. His boat damn near floundered.
I’m always blown away that “weight distribution”, never enters their minds.
Weight distribution doesn’t enter the mind of those who don’t know what that means or what it is!
Amen!!
Most of them have more money than sense.
Before we leave the dock I say you here, you there... not we go.
I had a captain on a commercial fishing boat make me shovel ice in hold to properly trim the boat. Alot easier to move bodies around.
The captain of the invincible was a former submariner
At 2:45 no fucking way would I let someone take my toddler up in the crow's nest when under power.
I totally agree. He wasn’t thinking. 💯
Yeah, an unexpectedly wake or rogue wave could have changed his life forever. Wait until you're offshore on a glassy day...even then that's a long fall...and would make me nervous for the kid.
Carrying him with one hand, what a POS?
The money that goes in and out of that inlet is amazing.
The Invincible in the beginning looks like a charter. My guess is the captain stuffed the bow on purpose. Thanks for showing the big boats; it's been awhile since we have seen several yachts.
One dude holds his beverage up out the wave while his phone gets soaked! Priorities, Dude.
To be fair most phones can handle a good amount of water these days, but your you can seriously screw your buzz up with a glass full of salt water!
The little tiny Whaler with the ice chest Captain's chair is so CUTE!!!!!
That Speed Racer 44 MTI was repowered a couple years ago with the new Mercury 1100 twin turbo engines. No more Potter engines.
Little Boston Whaler kicked butt👍
1200lbs is exactly what I'd put in the front of my boat to keep the nose up. This guy did everything right.
That little outboard was hilarious! Glad that wasn’t me!
Yeah, he was doing pretty good there! You go Capt Tiller!
Watching from Maryland here. First boat had too much weight in the bow. Tuna tower dad taking big risk with Jr. up top (at least kid had a lifejacket on)
For Major Stuffing, I count 7 adults in the bow. If they average 170 lbs/ea that's about 1200 lbs total. And with no one in the stern to balance it out. So, very nose heavy. Next, the slow cruise left the boat deep in the water and bobbing over each wave, including a nose-down attitude on the backside of every wave. Add in some big waves and ... Stuffing.
Could of also throw a little more throttle down that boat has a lot of power she should be able to get her bowel up.
Also how fast you can drain such a large swimming pool on the bow?
Looks like Midnight Express was having a demo day
Bilge pump don’t fail me now!!
Looks to me those people rented the boat, and the captain has seen this all too many times and didn't really give a crap. His reaction was calm, and looked like he knew what he was doing. I bet he just "yeah okay, all of you sit in the front, let's see how that goes". Also he gave them a funny memory for their outing.
Exactly what I was thinking. He had the pace at the exact right speed for maximum stuffing and bow slap.
I don't think it was on purpose at all. After they stuffed it more aggressively towards the mouth of the inlet, the boat appeared to be listing.
You hit the nail on the head 👏
Your absolutely 💯 right
No. As Wavy said, the boat was listing after taking on so much water. And I get no indication the passengers were enjoying it.
Wholly molley the size of that yacht that was heading out when the Boston Whaler blue top was coming in!!! At first glance I thought it was a Navy ship!
Have I told you today how much I love The Midnight Express? No? Pull up a seat, have a beer....
Right! All this is Sonny Crockett's responsibility, even if his TV boat was a Scarab 390. Midnight Express. The sexiest powerboat on the briny deep.
That Leopard yacht at 1:50 is gorgeous
The fire engine red WALLY YACHT at 3:30 looks to ride the water's surface superiorly.
I know nothing about boats but he Wally Yacht looks really cool to me.
That first boat: "Hey cap'n, take it easy! Ya washed out my beer!"
RELAX ! They were trying to cool off since it was so hot.
My favourite yacht is the "Midnight Lace" series from the 1980s. Designed by Tom Fexas, these boats were revolutionary then and still stunning today
I remember being blown away as a kid when I was lucky enough to see one of these beautiful boats in the Gold Coast of Queensland way back in the late eighties. The one I saw was 52" in length. That jet black hull and those OMG lines were really something else.
My favorite yacht? That leopard looked pretty sweet. I think i'll pick one up, just lemme win the Powerball first. 😂🤣
I really love those boats with the picture windows on the sides of the hull. I am going to buy a boat but won't pull the trigger till I find a model that has sliding glass doors.
Wally’s nose in the air…a matter of class!
That Leopard yacht is insane. But, I’m partial to the red Midnight Express. Also, props to half Captain half Dad. 👍🏼
I’ve got to say I’m just amazed at how overloaded some of these boats are.
And no one wearing a PFD
that magnum 50 was really a beautiful boat . newer seen that one before.
That stuffing is all on the captain for loading the bow full.
That Magnum 50 resembles the old "whaleback" (if memory serves) vessels the British patrolled with in WW2.
It’s amazing that nearly every boat is stacked with tons of people up front. It’s almost as if most captains have no idea about weight distribution and/or safety. And don’t even get me started on the lack of life jackets esp for the kids 👩🏻🏫
That red Midnight is EXTRAORDINARILY BEAUTIFUL!😳😱
Love d Yellow Fin, but d Magnum more👋👍
The yacht wake was bigger than the Boston Whaler :D :D :D
Dreaming from the Pacific NW of my "summer launch" Great channel, thanks for all your efforts.
Thanks for being here!
Great assortment of craft there. Thanks.
That took her top clean off and exposed those little flapjacks to the world haha
Wow beautiful moments. By boat and windsurfing
I’m convinced that invincible has in fact been vinced
That's a prime example of a captain for hire who told them it's too rough to go out the inlet and the owner insisted they go anyway.
Want a be captain error
Not knowing to keep your bow planed is definitely captain error
Wavy, I love all the yachts and all those long center console jobs. My dream boat, however, is an uber lake boat, a Cobalt R8. Beautiful, bulletproof, manageable. We live on a canal basin with the ICW in view about 1/4 mile due east. When I try to use wavy videos to prod my husband towards a boat I like, he says we won't be taking our boat over Haulover!
As far as yachts, the magnum looks great, moves great. Needs more glass below.
Love the orange midnight express.
Seven in the bow and none in the stern. "It's all fun and games until..."
That Leopard. One of these days I'll be able to afford one of my own
Captains gotta have fun too
I have never been on a boat inn my life, but watching all these fancy boats with all those fancy motors on the backs of them holy smokes that would be a whole lot of fun to go out for one day…. My life.
It's addictive. Once you get out, you only want to get out again.
It’s over rated. Get a small sailboat for under 5k and really be connected to the water and nature.
@Rob Schaap depends what you want, speed, comfort and usability? Then a motor boat is ideal. Want a leisurely cruise on only perfect conditions? Sure a sail boat would suit some people.
You owe it to yourself...just go on a little harbor cruise if you live near water...
The leopard is super sweet bit I couldn't even afford the paint on that boat.
Get everyone in back. Throttle up. Get on plane.
I love watching the people who clearly never been on a boat before the entire party is in the open bow LOL and they all act shocked and confused when their boat fills to the rails with water! hahahahaha
thanX
Viking SportFish!
Midnights are beasts and eat up ocean conditions. No budget limit.
New to your channel. A few questions...what is stuffing? (just when the bow dives into a wave?) Also, are there no rules/speed limits/etiquette to boating? Lots of these boats seem to have it wide open? I know nothing about boats but this is interesting.
CB Lounge 2112 love Wavy Boats long time!!!
What would also be interesting is to find out the occupation for some of these fancy boat owners
Rarely have i seen such levels of panic.
The red midnight express is 🥵
I think the captain of the Invincible stuff to the few times to get those folks nice and cool
ooh the famous yacht-kuzzi
A midnight is all you need
About that first boat, I think the Captain needs some serious training...especially on throttle and speed control. I would be embarrassed to be on that boat, even though it is really nice, and capable.
I have a good feeling he went slow intentionally to soak the passengers. I notice he picks up speed after two waves.
Mystery boat looks like an Irvette but multiple manufacturers will use the same mold so only the hull ID will tell.
There is something about that Magnum 50. It's got a certain presence and stability in the water.
Que bien ese agradecimiento a la guardia costera 🙂 , su trabajo es muy riesgoso
13’ whaler takes it better than million dollar Invincible
All in prua ? Non corretto ! 😳👏👏👏😂😂😂😂
Why are all the boats designed to roll side to side and bounce front to back? I’m raised on land so it’s fun to watch people get all bruised as a form of sport/leisure activity
Leopard Sea Emperor, Scheaffer grand-Duke! Power might magnificent wakes. Drunk with awesomeness! Thank you!
Glad you're enjoying it! 🙌
Leopard missed opportunity to add glass below. Portholes.
Agree it looked like the stuffing was totally avoidable and I don’t believe it was done on purpose because who would risk sinking their boat doing something so dumb. But I have to believe the boat was chartered and the poor excuse of the captain wasn’t the owner. I find it so hard to believe anyone could be so dumb or inexperienced to operate a boat in this manner and the boat did have a list to it afterwards. Send the video to the boat’s owner it shouldn’t be very hard to locate the owner. I enjoy your channel so much keep up the good job. Thanks
Nothing like endangering your child to start the day 2:50
tilt the motors back a few degrees , this forces the bow up in the air , and not level like this boat is
Put a sign on one side of the bridge to tell people to slow down and a sign on the other side telling people to speed up.
Mystery looks like an older scarab
In Miami, everything is panic mode! Boating is a party sport there…..
Jay the Florida pool pump motor repair guy. When Service Calls Longwood approved ! that was good info 2 see & know👨🔧good job !! @WavyBoats
A year or so ago, I use to see a lot of Deep Impact boats, now none. Did they all fall apart or something?
This Has Been Attack Of The Red Boats This Time Red Wally Yacht Red Midnight Express boat
"Invincible" Bet?
2:59 that is by far the dumbest thing a dad could do and (if that kid remembers) simultaneously the coolest.. I am crossed.
It is me or is the midnight express like the popular pick with these captains. Million dollar Camrys
If that’s a professional caption then I have to assume he did that on purpose. Loaded up the front of the boat and just creeped on into the waves
Balance the load, get up on plane, trim down with slight correction for wind and use that hull! But they did it on purpose.
Skipper must be a newsman as all he wants to do is scoop
wanna beat the current induced waves? stay out of the middle and as close to the rocks as your sounder permits - yes, it is that easy
@4:00 mystery boat is a "full send!"
The wake thrown up by those big boats plus the current and general rough waters of the inlet is a danger to the smaller boats. It seems that they should extend the no wake zone to the end of the break water for anything 26' and up.
Waters get rough though and boats want speed to manage it.
Wavy is boats vs haulover home edition...judge and call the victor from the comfort of home
Definitely operator error. Throttle up some, and as always, no one forward of the helm through the inlet! Any chance I can talk you into taking a stroll down the beach and posting that? Summer is a ways off here in the PNW and sights and sounds of a sunny walk on the beach sure would help my attitude.
Ah! The coastguards were wearing lifejackets! Agood example that nobody seems to follow?
I live in West Texas... No water, anywhere... How can I know, such a bad idea to be on the bow in those conditions...
Capt of the invisible should of had the majority move to the helm area and trim up would of made for a better trip through
got to spped up bro
Fishing boat Jarrett Bay.
0:37 clearly not Invincible
