That capybara needs other capys! They're social animals and shouldn't be isolated like that!

- Unfortunately many animal cafes in Japan don’t treat their animals that well, while it doesn’t have to be physical abuse what I mean by this is the animal(s) care is often neglected or their enclosure/environment is simply not good enough for the animal to thrive both physically and mentally. This Capy doesn’t have an amazing environment as there’s no other members of its species to speak of….it also has no pool or any source of water that resembles its natural habitat (capybaras ARE NOT domestic animals, if you are going to have one, at the very least give it a naturalistic environment.)

- @@heyangel28 the cats won't be able to give the same company other capibaras would, it's like if a human only lived and socialized with cats, people still need human contact even with the love of the kitties. Cats and capibaras are very different animals, too, so they can be best friends, but I think the capybara still needs others

Capybaras are actually social animals they always go by groups 🙂 I feel like they need to atleast get it a friend or two they also like to go too swim as they often spotted near rivers they're great swimmers so I hope there's a big pool where he can hangout 😀

In my city in Brazil we had a lot of them chilling around the river. They live in big families and are not too afraid of people, besides we have laws to not bother them.

- They live together with their family by the rivers in Brazil, we have laws to protect them, since it's a native animal. Some of them are friendly with some humans, but mostly they live their lives apart from us relaxing
