  • LOL! 19:29 (exactly what Matt Trakker says to his *adopted* son - he feels the same way with his robotic friend, in that, although he’s grateful that Scott and T-Bob found the meteor, he, at the same time, is cross with them that they joined him on his mission); heck, that’s how Hondo got hurt (yes, Scott *is* to blame, that Hondo got hurt - Scott’s right, that it’s his fault that Hondo got hurt - him and T-Bob elected to join Matt Trakker on his mission that was too dangerous for children, let alone for robots). Scott (let alone T-Bob) never seems to learn that his dad never wants him (again, let alone T-Bob) joining him on his missions for a valid reason - his missions, against VENOM, are always too dangerous. Yes, there’s a bit of Beano and Dandy, in that quote - spanking (although would have been done for the same reason - parents wanting their children to learn from their behaviour; different from spanking merely in anger / fury). That’s why characters in Beano, and Dandy, strips, would get their behinds spanked, by their parents (usually their dads). Scott thinks that, when his dad tells him (and T-Bob) not to be joining him, on his missions, it’s because he merely wants the two missing the fun, but that’s the point of Scott - he’s too young to know any better (like he’s new to the world), hence is too young to know the realities of his dad’s missions - they’re far from fun - they’re, again, too dangerous for children (let alone for robots). Matt Trakker loves Scott (even T-Bob, who’s a robot), and would hate anything bad to happen to either (hence he gets cross if and when Scott and T-Bob attempt to join him on his missions). By joining his dad, on his missions, Scott could get his dad, or even *himself*, hurt, let alone T-Bob damaged (or one of his dad’s agents hurt, like what happens to Hondo, in this episode) - this would always be owing to VENOM, the show’s villains (and exactly who are behind Matt Trakker’s missions, let alone what makes them dangerous), hence he always says no to his son (and T-Bob) joining him on his missions.

    @BrianTKessler@BrianTKessler11 жыл бұрын
  • The one big mystery, of this show to me, was how did the M.A.S.K. computer know how to pick the best agents for the mission when Trakker never defined the mission parameters in the first place. If the MASK mainframe was always listening in to Trakker and collecting data then somehow intuits what the mission parameters most likely are then selects the best agents based on this intuition that would imply Trakker had a working heuristic artificial intelligence in the basement of his mansion. If so why didn't Trakker instruct this AI computer to predict what VENOM's next probable moves are and create counter missions to thwart these VENOM actions. I suppose this is the magic of being a kid who didn't care about details, such as how a gull winged door Camaro flies, and just being interested in how cool it was a Camaro can turn into a flying car.
