      @AlpacaLips39@AlpacaLips394 жыл бұрын
  • "That's weird how it's all flat, what's that all about?" Well, that line kinda dictated which states would have slaves (south of the line) and which ones would not (north of the line), it was called the Missouri compromise and was a really strange way of trying to come up with a solution to the argument of slavery. Of course it ultimately divided the nation quite literally north and south, leading to the civil war because of the opposing ideologies.

    @memeindustry672@memeindustry6725 жыл бұрын
    • That is not why the line is that way. It is because the original colony of Carolana (now NC and SC) spanned all the way to the Mississippi River and that line was the northern border. It was then separated but the line remains the northern border of several states

Everyone is always calling everyone else stupid and it makes me happy to see that people are putting their differences aside for something as simple (well, kinda hard if you don't look at the map every day) as a geography quiz.

Kane will miss every free kick possible and welbeck will score absolutely no goals. That team is so far away from not getting the world cup to the point where they mine as well not show up at all. If you think Dier can stop Ronaldo, Neymar, Messi, Greizman, De Bruyne, Muller, etc then you must be taking a piss. Fuck off with your shitty ass team.
