This stubborn ewe didn't want to be saved! Good thing I've got my dogs to help give these sheep the care they need.
Armed with my trusty Handypiece I was able to shear her afflicted area and get those maggots off. Our Handypiece is great for jobs like this, we can treat the sheep on the spot and let them get back on their merry way. www.handypiece.co.nz
These videos are so cute to watch! І love how the sheep have a lot of freedom and open space. The world needs more people like you ❤
Watching those dogs work is a sight to behold, a thing of beauty!
These Shearing clips are so satisfing.
Those dogs... Got to love them...
Those flies sure make a dirty mess. Glad you caught her. 🌞
At 0:42, just seeing that one lamb take flight hit me hard 😂😂😂😂
The sheep still run knowing you are the owner for so long lol
Aww 😂 her face when you caught her and carried her away 😅😂
Thanks for helping the beautiful 🐑 & the doggies do a great job ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️
When I watch the video I appreciate them more 😀
OMG they have such a pray behavior. Seems like to catch them you have to be a little bit of a rugby player, hehe
❤ you back again i keep waiting 😊thanks im happy to watch..
I liked watching this one. Them dogs are amazing at doing their job. Im the biggest dog lover ever. I love all dogs. These 2 dogs are beautiful. You caught the sheep lol. And it looks like she was treated perfectly and treated so well in the whole process. Thank you for that.... ❤
You’d think they would be used to you by now! Sheesh 😆🤷🏽♂️
Thank you for helping the sheep. Those doggies are amazing. More videos o them doing their thing would be appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback, it's a good idea.
1:40 it's amazing, when you lay them down like that they suddenly froze and won't move. 🤣i just learn a new thing
Oooo and new shearers 🙌🏾
Look at the brown dog in the end, watching you through the car. Too cute😍. I would give them both a tight squeeze. Would be impossible without their support.
I love how on the other video everyone was so focused on your breathing 😂 like let the man live
If I can't hear myself breathing I'm either underwater, sneaking, or dead. 😅
My husband breaths out his mouth, it drives me crazy!!!!!
2:42 i feel so much better after you spray them... but it not last long.. like watching fireworks 🤣
finally new video
A. Isn’t it crazy how they try so desperately to get away when you are always kind and never hurt them? You’d think they’d learn that you’re not so bad. B. That’s a great workout. C. Those dogs are invaluable to what you do! ( pointless for me to mention, I know u know that) D. I hate flies
A, so true, it's the funny part of farm life. B, yeah don't have to go to the gym. C, yeah the dogs are hero's. D, I also have great dislike for flies 😅
Does the dog bite them or no
Why is I that mass majority of the time fly strike is always on their lower end? The flies just prefer the lower back and tail area for some reason?
Yeah I don't know. Maybe that area has a different smell or it's a better helipad?
It's usually the most soiled spot. Which is what the maggots need when they hatch, about 12 hours after being laid. 🌞
Man I think you need couple of roosters with sheep. brahma big ones that are strong and can fight hawks.
We did have some roosters out and about. I think a New Zealand falcon may have killed them tho.
How do you spot them?
Here is a video explaining it kzhead.info/sun/hrlvltuJmZOMp5s/bejne.html
Out of the flock of sheep, how do you & the dogs know which ones are infested with maggots cos' all look almost the same. How to identify the wound on the sheep caused by maggots ??? I thought flies lay eggs, then eggs hatched to these creepy crawlers, only on rotten or decomposing surfaces ??? Does this infestation pass on to other sheep ???
You can spot an affected sheep by dark spots on the body along with twitching around the affected area, the sheep behaving agitated and sometimes separating herself from the mob. These flies are an aggressive Australian fly that lay their eggs on live animals and the maggots only eat live flesh. The infestation doesn't spread to other sheep as such but as the affected sheep starts smelling strongly from her wounds, it attracts other flies and the cycle continues. That's why it's so important to catch the affected sheep asap.

この賢いわんちゃん達は 子犬のときから育てて 羊を追えるように あなたが訓練するのですか? うちの犬は名前を呼んでも来ません 甘えたい気分の時にだけ 近寄ってきます ┐(´д`)┌ヤレヤレ
Yeah, my farm dogs were raised for the job. Trained from puppies to hopefully do the right thing 😅 The job would be much harder if I didn't have them for sure. What breed is your dog?
マルチーズとシーズーのミックス犬です😅 あなたが犬を使って羊を沼から助け出す動画が大好きです😊 とても尊敬していると彼らにお伝えください❤
