Love your work Aaron. Yes, the Option key trick to view paths as a MOMENTARY feature may be new. But good to note enabling file paths on the bottom of Finder windows as an ALWAYS ON feature has been available for years as it could be turned on through the View menu on some previous MacOs versions.

Top quality video. I recognise those top things: 60 fps, zoom to focus edit video, nice sound studio (sound is great), perfect speed and tone of your voice, fast and brief enough, no “ehm, badam, mmm”. Great stuff man 🤌👌
my favorite is the quick actions on a file to convert. Very useful and saves time especially for email attachments. No more preview to open and convert just do it from right clicking on a file in the options! Thanks for the review as usual awesome Aaron!!

@@zollotech very important so call for help again Hi emergency! Major system security breach MAC OS Big Sur and Monterey 12 and 12.1 system vulnerabilities. WiFi has security holes! The system can be crashed remotely. The system will not be hacked when not logged in. As long as you log in to the system or turn off WiFi, it will also be hacked! The system menu bar WI-FI icon looks like it's off! , but that's fine. My computer is a 2017 MacBook Can you solve it? ASAP thank you. Best wishes.

Aaron, superb job as usual. One small issue that reported to them on day one is the screen saver. When the screen saver kicks in, the selected desktop pictures appear with super dark to almost black tint.

Great video once agin, I do wish some of the new features where explained a little more, screen mirror/air play won’t work on personal hotspot only works on wifi ( or maybe my Mac doesn’t support it ) Australia doesn’t get visual look up on MacBook or iPhone, lots of new features won’t work on older MacBook (Intel) still love your videos.

I’m still using late 2016 MBP in 2021. It took almost half a day to install the update. I don’t want apple to drop support to older Gen Mac too quickly because the life span of MBP could be 8-9 years

I noticed that after updating to MacOS 12, I cannot make Facetime audio calls without a camera anymore, I used to be able to do that on Big Sur but now it refuses to do anything unless I connect a camera. Loving this update......
Minimising the app from full screen would be a great feature, same like on Windows.

Hi, I installed it today so far most impressed. I have a Mac book pro 16 inch from late 2019 (a basic model) the intel chips are really loud when pushed but so far in this OS version, they seem to be a little cooler and so quieter (long may this continue!) thanks for the updates! (any thoughts on how further to quieten my "hot chips" would be appreciated)
That along just made me jump in my seat, i also have the same model and it's the base model. I hope to see it being quiter and cooler too cause damn this boy runs like a jet when connected to external monitors at 4.4K RPM. Thank you for sharing your insights!
Yeah, open Activity Monitor and kill off all the Adobe background processes. I was shocked when my fans immediately and finally got quiet and were able to rest.
I had trouble installing it on my new 2015 MacBook Pro today. I'd upgraded the SSD to a 1 Tb Crucial P2 with an adapter and Monterey didn't like it! I had to put the original SSD back in, install Monterey to it then take it back out (after Monterey installed a firmware update) and installed again on the Crucial 1 Tb. It worked! I was pretty worried for a while there but it worked in the end. Monterey is great but I haven't had a chance to properly test it yet. It seems pretty much the same as Big Sur at this point.
On Big Sur My dell Bluetooth mouse had severe lag issues but after the Monterey Update its running buttery smooth...Thanks Apple

@zollotech Might be off topic, but should I have "Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement" in Safari ENABLED or DISABLED? Hard to find “good” info on this setting and what it really means if on/off and for privacy for “us” should we have it on. It’s on this new OS, iPhones, iPads, as well. I’m hoping you can help me out with an answer (maybe a short vid for others too 🤔). Appreciate any help Aaron, cheers✌🏻

My 2013 iMac is stuck on Catalina until I can get a new computer next year. It's still a great computer and I'd actually keep it if I could update the OS but I guess all good things have to come to an end eventually and it's now time to upgrade.
Lol my 2015 MacBook Pro still on Catalina idk it just works for me don’t need all the extra stuff they adding nowadays anyways, I’ll be waiting to see how Monterey goes to see if it’s worth leaving catalina but from what I saw here nothing is compelling

I am using All the unsupported macs: 2009 15” MacBook Pro, 2009 Mac Pro and 2012 Mac mini server. And it works fine. Only my 2017 iMac 27” is supported. Soon my 16” MacBook Pro will come with Monterrey pre installed.

Hi. I’ve been struggling to find a feature that seems to have disappeared from the recent upgrades and which I used fairly often. It relates to having access on safari on my iPhone to websites I have open on my iPad or my Mac. Previously, when displaying open tabs in safari on any device, you could also see open tabs in the other devices - is that still possible?
Hi Aaron, I have a mbp 2015 ( base model) . Im still running sierra and the maschine runs perfect. Its still fast and snappy just like the day i bought it. However some of the apps im using can no longer be updated and im thinking to upgrade the os to monterey. Will the new os slow down my Mac?
I’m a beta tester and this wasn’t showing up on my Mac mini but was on my MacBook Air. After a restart it popped right up. Question is there any benefit at this point in keep the beta profile on?

Only issue I’m facing this far is the integrated trackpad freezing a few second after waking up from sleep (Mac air M1)
Made a clean install of macOS Monterey on M1 Macbook Pro 2020 and so far the experience has been phenomenal !!
Hows the memory management on m1. Big sur hogged memory
@@JosephHaubert too early to say for now. Been spending all day to reinstall those utility apps and microsoft office suite. But so far installing alot of apps simultaneously cause no issues or lagging at all.
