It's essentially state owned companies at this point. Gazprom randomly cutting ties with the market that had a pipeline capacity of about 200 billion cubic meters a year to go for China which at this point has about 40 billion pipeline capacity is not gonna pay the prices the EU did is not a business move. And changing 80% of Gazproms and other companies dollar revenue from dollars into rubles to support the ruble course is also not a business move. It's socialism with a few crowny billionaires doing what the leader says. There no western company that would be this stupid. Those just focus on their business interests.

Not really, these mercenaries are mostly hired by countries, at least Wagner is. That's nothing new, infact it's as old as history.

Look up (British) East India Company 1600 to 1874, who were traders and had an army, basically seized large parts of India, and East Asia. Imperial British East Africa Company same thing. Ancient history is full of mercenary armies too.

Yeah. The legion of france before ww1 officially started recruited thousands of British soldiers to use as cannon fodder. Nothing new atall, the way they show Wagner in the West but no one talks about Blackrock in Ukraine with thousands of American mercs fighting alongside the Ukrainians is very hypocritical
Because throughout history, armies weren't mobilized until there was war, so there was always a need for professional career soldiers with combat experience. Nowadays its just foreigners overpayed to be cannonfodder

@@jordan3405 Blackrock? thats not a PMC. nobody is talking about it because it doesnt exist. there are people who are not there on paper behind the lines training and coordinating attacks, not as frontline troops. russian media would have a field day if they had any sign of that. there are thousands of americans fighting, every single one russia has captured has proven to be a legitimate foreign legion volunteer. the foreign legion being a part of the Ukrainian military automatically makes them not mercenaries.
Does anyone know if this group has any kind of Order of Battle per se? Tanks, Artillery, IFV’s? HQ, unit sizes, and/or actual individual units within the org? Basically a map like structure of the Wagner Group?
