I am an environmental engineer in US and fly ash is considered as a worst form of environmental and health concern. Its concerning to see its reuse and dust from it can significantly affect lungs on a long term.

1. Fly ash is basically rapid hardening agent used in fresh concrete so it needs heavy curing to over come heat of hydration. 2. I have concern about the plastering layer. It may fell after some time cz its smooth surface. 3. How about durability ( heterogeneous mixture). 4. Its heavier than normal brick so dead load is more needs structure to design perfectly. 5. Cost effectiveness environmental friendly is highly appropriatble 6.damp proofing is ok to some extent but sulphate attack is also a concern. Good luck by Engr. Ali Awan

@@amjadiqbal548 dear Plaster need rough surface to grip the wall. Else if on smooth surface due to heterogeneous material and temperature change it peels off. That's why we recommend 90 % chipping on smooth concrete before plastering.

آگ میں پکی ہوئی اینٹ اور سیمنٹ کی بنی ہوئی اینٹ میں اگر زمین اور آسمان کا فرق کہا جائے تو بے جا نہ ہوگا اس لیے سیمنٹ کی گرفت کی ایک مدت ہے جس کے بعد سیمنٹ کی گرفت کمزور ہو جاتی ہے اور کنکریٹ میں دراڑیں پڑ جاتی ہیں جبکہ آگ میں پکی ہوئی اینٹیں پرانی عمارتوں اور قلعوں میں لگی ہوئی نظر آتی ہیں جن کی تعمیر کو صدیاں گزر گئیں اگرچہ وہ عمارتیں تو بوسیدہ یا پرانی ہوئی ہیں لیکن آگ پر پکی ہوئی اینٹں ویسی کی ویسی سلامت اس لیے یہ اینٹ اپنی جگہ درست لیکن آگ پر پکی ہوئی یا بھٹے والی اینٹ کے برابر بالکل نہیں
بالکل صحیح کہا آپ نے۔ ایسی اینٹیں شاید فرش وغیرہ کے لیے بہتر رہیں، جیسا کہ اکثر foothpaths پہ دیکھا جاسکتا ہے۔

اینٹھ کی مضبوتی دیکھنے کے لیے ھایڈرولک پریس پر پی ایس آی دیک کیا جاتا ہے اینٹوں کو اپس میں ٹکرانے سے نہیں اور فلے ایش کی قیمت تو بھٹے کی اینٹھ سے کافی کم آتی ہے تو پھر پیسے برابر کیون ۔ آپ ایک اینٹھ کے 14 رپے کہ رہے ہیں جب کے سندھ میں 8-7 رپے میں ملتی ہے یعنی ہر طرف ڈنڈی مار رہے ہو۔

بھٹے کی اینٹ کی لائف زیادہ ہوتی ہے۔ کنکریٹ کی سو سال جبکہ مٹی کی اینٹ صدیوں پرانی آج بھی مل رہی ہیں اور سلامت ہیں۔ دراصل سیمنٹ کی ایک لائف ہے اس کے بعد اس کی بونڈنگ ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ مکانوں میں مٹی کی اینٹ اور سیمنٹ کی چنائی زیادہ لمبے عرصہ تک ٹک پاتی ہے۔ یہ وہی سیمنٹ کا بلاک ہی ہے اینٹ کے سائز میں۔ اور بلاک کی دیواریں جو چاردیوری میں بنتی ہیں، 15 20 سال بعد ہاتھ لگائیں تو اس سے خاکہ اور سیمنٹ الگ ہونے لگتا ہے

I am a doctor who did research on pneumoconiosis, a lung disease caused by coal dust. If no body else , the workers here are at a serious risk of pneumoconiosis. Question is, do western countries & Japan use this kind of bricks or no?? Hardly any!
